  1. İsa yenə onlara məsəllərlə xitab edərək dedi:
  2. «Səmavi Padşahlıq oğluna toy ziyafəti verən bir padşaha bənzəyir.
  3. O, toy ziyafətinə dəvət olunanları çağırmaq üçün qullarını göndərdi. Lakin onlar gəlmək istəmədi.
  4. Bir daha başqa qulları göndərərək onlara dedi: “Dəvət olunanlara deyin ki, budur, mən ziyafətimi hazırladım, öküzlərim və bəslənmiş heyvanlarım kəsilib, hər şey hazırdır, toy ziyafətinə gəlin!”
  5. Amma dəvət olunanlar etinasızlıq göstərərək kimi tarlasına, kimi ticarətinə getdi.
  1. And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
  2. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
  3. And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
  4. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
  5. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
 
 
  1. O biriləri isə onun qullarını tutub təhqir etdilər və öldürdülər.
  2. Padşah bundan xəbər tutaraq qəzəbləndi. Öz qoşunlarını göndərib o qatilləri məhv etdi, şəhərlərini isə yandırdı.
  3. Onda qullarına dedi: “Toy ziyafəti hazırdır, fəqət dəvət olunanlar buna layiq deyil.
  4. Beləliklə, yolayrıclarına gedin və kimi tapsanız, toy ziyafətinə dəvət edin”.
  5. Həmin qullar yollara çıxdılar. Pis-yaxşı kimi tapdılarsa, hamısını topladılar. Toy məclisi qonaqlarla doldu.
  1. And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
  2. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
  3. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
  4. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
  5. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
 
 
  1. Padşah qonaqlara baxmaq üçün girdikdə orada toy libası geyməmiş bir nəfəri gördü,
  2. ona dedi: “Dostum! Sən toy libası geyməmiş buraya necə girdin?” O isə susdu.
  3. O zaman padşah xidmətçilərə dedi: “Onun əllərini, ayaqlarını bağlayın və qaranlıq çölə atın! Orada ağlaşma və diş qıcırtısı olacaq”.
  4. Çünki dəvət edilmiş çox, seçilmiş isə azdır».
  5. O zaman fariseylər gedib məsləhətləşirdilər ki, Onu söz üstündə necə tutsunlar.
  1. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
  2. And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
  3. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  4. For many are called, but few are chosen.
  5. Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
 
 
  1. Onlar hirodçularla birgə öz şagirdlərini İsanın yanına göndərib dedilər: «Müəllim, biz bilirik ki, Sən etibarlı adamsan, Allahın yolunu həqiqətə görə öyrədirsən və heç kimə tərəfkeşlik etmirsən. Çünki insanlar arasında fərq qoymursan.
  2. İndi bizə de görək, Səncə bizim üçün qeysərə vergi verməyə icazə var ya yox?»
  3. Amma İsa onların pis niyyətini bilərək dedi: «Ey ikiüzlülər, Məni niyə sınağa çəkirsiniz?
  4. Vergi verdiyiniz sikkəni Mənə göstərin». Onlar da Ona bir dinar gətirdilər.

  1. And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
  2. Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
  3. But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
  4. Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
  5. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
 
 
  1. Ona dedilər: «Qeysərin». O vaxt İsa onlara dedi: «Elə isə, qeysərin haqqını qeysərə, Allahın haqqını Allaha verin».
  2. Bunu eşitdikləri zaman heyrətləndilər və İsanı tərk edib getdilər.
  3. Həmin gün dirilmənin olmadığını iddia edən bəzi sadukeylər İsanın yanına gəlib soruşdular:
  4. «Müəllim, Musa belə demişdir: “Əgər bir adam övladsız ölsə, qardaşı onun dul qalmış arvadını alıb ölən qardaşın nəslini davam etdirsin”.
  5. Aramızda yeddi qardaş var idi. Birincisi bir arvad aldı və öldü. Uşağı olmadığından arvadı ilə qardaşı evləndi.
  1. They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
  2. When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
  3. The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
  4. Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
  5. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
 
 
  1. İkincisi və üçüncüsü, hətta yeddincisinə qədər eləcə öldü.
  2. Hamısından sonra bu qadın da öldü.
  3. İndi ölülər diriləndə bu qadın o yeddi nəfərdən hansının arvadı olacaq? Çünki hamısı bu qadını almışdı».
  4. İsa onlara cavab verib dedi: «Müqəddəs Yazıları və Allahın qüdrətini bilmədiyinizə görə yanılırsınız.
  5. Ona görə ki ölülər diriləndə insanlar nə evlənir, nə də ərə gedirlər. Ancaq səmadakı mələklər kimi olurlar.
  1. Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
  2. And last of all the woman died also.
  3. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
  4. Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
  5. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
 
 
  1. Bəs ölülərin dirilməsinə gəlincə, Allah tərəfindən sizə “Mən İbrahimin Allahı, İshaqın Allahı və Yaqubun Allahıyam” deyə söylənən sözü oxumamısınızmı? Allah ölülərin deyil, dirilərin Allahıdır».
  3. Bunları eşidən camaat Onun təliminə təəccüblənirdi.
  4. Fariseylər İsanın sadukeyləri susdurduğunu eşidəndə bir yerə toplaşdılar.
  5. Onlardan biri olan qanunşünas İsanı sınamaq məqsədi ilə Ondan bunu soruşdu:
  1. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
  2. I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
  3. And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
  4. But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
  5. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
 
 
  1. «Müəllim, Qanunda ən böyük əmr hansıdır?»
  2. İsa ona dedi: «“Allahın Rəbbi bütün qəlbinlə, bütün varlığınla və bütün düşüncənlə sev”.
  3. Bu, böyük və əsas əmrdir.
  4. Buna bənzəyən ikincisi budur: “Qonşunu özün kimi sev”.
  5. Bütün Qanun və Peyğəmbərlərin sözləri bu iki əmrə əsaslanır».
  1. Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
  2. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  3. This is the first and great commandment.
  4. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
  5. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
 
 
  1. Fariseylər toplaşdıqda İsa onlardan bunu soruşdu:
  2. «Məsih haqqında nə düşünürsünüz? O kimin Oğludur?» Onlar da İsaya «Davudun Oğlu» dedilər.
  3. İsa onlara dedi: «Elə isə, nə üçün Davud Ruh vasitəsilə Ona “Ağa” deyə müraciət edir?
  4. “Rəbb mənim Ağama dedi: ‹Mən düşmənlərini ayaqlarının altına salanadək Sağımda otur›” deyib.
  5. Əgər Davud Ona “Ağa” deyə müraciət edirsə, O necə Davudun oğlu ola bilər?»
  1. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
  2. Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
  3. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
  4. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
  5. If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
 
 
  1. Bunun cavabında İsaya kimsə bir söz deyə bilmədi. O gündən sonra artıq heç kim Ondan bir şey soruşmağa cəsarət etmədi.
  1. And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
