  1. Bundan sonra İsa camaata və şagirdlərinə müraciət edib
  2. dedi: «İlahiyyatçılar və fariseylər Musanın kürsüsündə oturmuşlar.
  3. Buna görə də sizə əmr etdikləri hər şeyə riayət və əməl edin. Amma onların etdiklərini etməyin, çünki söyləyərlər, amma riayət etməzlər.
  4. Ağır və çətin daşına bilən yükləri bağlayıb insanların çiyninə yükləyərlər, özləri isə bu yükləri daşımaq üçün barmaqlarını belə, tərpətmək istəməzlər.
  5. Onlar öz əməllərinin hamısını insanlar görsün deyə edərlər. Çünki onlar dua qutucuqlarını genişləndirib geyimlərinin qotazlarını uzadarlar.
  1. Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
  2. Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
  3. All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
  4. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
  5. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

  2. bazar meydanlarında salam almağı, insanların onlara “Rabbi!” deyə xitab etməsini sevərlər.
  3. Amma kimsə sizi “Rabbi” deyə çağırmasın. Çünki sizin bir Müəlliminiz var. Siz hamınızsa qardaşsınız.
  4. Yer üzündə kimsəyə “ata” deməyin. Çünki bir Atanız var, O da Səmavi Atadır.
  5. Kimsə sizə “rəhbər” deməsin. Çünki bir Rəhbəriniz var, O da Məsihdir.
  1. And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
  2. And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
  3. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
  4. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
  5. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
 
 
  1. Aranızda ən böyük olan xidmətçiniz olsun.
  2. Kim özünü yüksəldərsə, aşağı tutulacaq və kim özünü aşağı tutarsa, yüksəldiləcək.
  3. Vay halınıza, ey ilahiyyatçılar və fariseylər – ikiüzlülər! Çünki siz Səmavi Padşahlığı insanların üzünə qapayırsınız. Nə özünüz girirsiniz, nə də girmək istəyənləri buraxırsınız.
  5. Vay halınıza, ey ilahiyyatçılar və fariseylər – ikiüzlülər! Çünki siz dənizi və qurunu dolaşırsınız ki, bir nəfəri dinə gətirəsiniz. Dinə gətirdikdə isə onu özünüzdən ikiqat artıq cəhənnəmlik edirsiniz.
  1. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
  2. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
  3. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
  4. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
  5. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
 
 
  1. Vay halınıza, ey kor rəhbərlər! Deyirsiniz ki, “kim məbədə and içirsə, əhəmiyyətli bir şey deyil, lakin kim məbədin qızılına and içirsə, öz andına borcludur”.
  2. Ey ağılsızlar və korlar! Hansı daha böyükdür? Qızılmı, yoxsa qızılı təqdis edən məbədmi?
  3. Yenə də deyirsiniz ki, “kim qurbangaha and içirsə, əhəmiyyətli bir şey deyil; lakin qurbangah üzərindəki qurbana and içən öz andını yerinə yetirməlidir”.
  4. Ey korlar! Hansı daha böyükdür? Qurbanmı, yoxsa qurbanı təqdis edən qurbangahmı?
  5. Beləliklə, qurbangaha and içən kəs ona və onun üstündə olan bütün şeylərə and içir.
  1. Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
  2. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
  3. And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
  4. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
  5. Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
 
 
  1. Məbədə and içən kəs ona və içində Yaşayana and içir.
  2. Göyə and içən kəs də Allahın taxtına və taxtda Oturana and içir.
  3. Vay halınıza, ey ilahiyyatçılar və fariseylər – ikiüzlülər! Çünki siz nanə, şüyüd və zirənin onda birini verirsiniz, lakin Qanunun daha vacib işlərini, ədaləti, mərhəməti və imanı atırsınız. Amma onda biri verməklə yanaşı bunları da yerinə yetirməli idiniz.
  4. Ey kor rəhbərlər! Ağcaqanadı süzgəclə çıxarır, dəvəni isə udursunuz!
  5. Vay halınıza, ey ilahiyyatçılar və fariseylər – ikiüzlülər! Çünki siz kasanın və boşqabın bayır tərəfini təmizləyirsiniz, lakin onların daxili soyğunçuluq və pozğunluqla doludur.
  1. And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
  2. And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
  3. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
  4. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
  5. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
 
 
  1. Sən, ey kor farisey! Əvvəlcə kasanın daxilini təmizlə ki, bayır tərəfi də təmiz olsun!
  2. Vay halınıza, ey ilahiyyatçılar və fariseylər – ikiüzlülər! Çünki siz ağardılmış məqbərələrə bənzəyirsiniz: onların bayır tərəfi gözəl görünür, daxili isə ölü sümükləri və hər cür murdarlıqla doludur.
  3. Siz də zahirən insanlara saleh görünürsünüz, daxilən isə ikiüzlülük və qanunsuzluqla dolusunuz.
  4. Vay halınıza, ey ilahiyyatçılar və fariseylər – ikiüzlülər! Çünki siz peyğəmbərlərə məqbərələr tikirsiniz, salehlərin abidələrini bəzəyirsiniz.
  5. “Biz ata-babalarımızın yaşadığı günlərdə yaşasaydıq, peyğəmbərlərin qanını tökməkdə onlarla şərik olmazdıq” deyirsiniz.
  1. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
  2. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
  3. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
  4. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
  5. And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
 
 
  1. Beləliklə, peyğəmbərləri öldürənlərin övladları olduğunuza özünüz şəhadət edirsiniz.
  2. Elə isə, ata-babalarınızın başladığı işi başa çatdırın!
  3. Siz ey ilanlar, gürzələr nəsli! Cəhənnəmə məhkum edilməkdən necə qaçacaqsınız?
  4. Ona görə də Mən sizə peyğəmbərlər, müdrik adamlar və ilahiyyatçılar göndərirəm. Siz onlardan bəzisini öldürəcək və çarmıxa çəkəcəksiniz. Bəzisini sinaqoqlarınızda qamçılayacaq və şəhərdən şəhərə qovacaqsınız;
  5. belə ki saleh olan Habilin qanından tutmuş məbədlə qurbangahın arasında öldürdüyünüz Berekya oğlu Zəkəriyyənin qanına qədər yer üzündə tökülən bütün saleh adamların qanı üçün məsuliyyət daşıyasınız.
  1. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
  2. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
  3. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
  4. Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
  5. That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
 
 
  1. Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: bütün bu şeylər üçün bu nəsil məsuliyyət daşıyacaq.
  2. Ey Yerusəlim, Yerusəlim! Peyğəmbərləri öldürən və ora göndərilənləri daşqalaq edən şəhər! Toyuq cücələrini qanadları altına yığan kimi Mən də dəfələrlə sənin övladlarını yığmaq istədim, sizsə istəmədiniz!
  3. Baxın, eviniz viran qalır.
  4. Çünki Mən sizə bunu deyirəm: “Rəbbin ismi ilə Gələnə alqış olsun!” deyənə qədər Məni bir daha görməyəcəksiniz».
  1. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
  2. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
  3. Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
  4. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
