  1. Bu vaxt saysız-hesabsız adam bir-birini sıxışdıra-sıxışdıra oraya yığıldı. İsa əvvəl şagirdlərinə danışmağa başladı: «Fariseylərin mayasından, yəni ikiüzlülükdən özünüzü gözləyin.
  2. Elə örtülü bir şey yoxdur ki, aşkara çıxmayacaq və elə gizli bir şey yoxdur ki, bilinməyəcək.
  3. Buna görə də qaranlıqda dediyiniz gün işığında eşidiləcək, bağlı qapı arxasında qulağa pıçıldadığınız damlardan bəyan olunacaq.
  4. Ey dostlarım, sizə deyirəm: bədəni öldürən və ondan sonra başqa heç nə edə bilməyənlərdən qorxmayın.
  5. Amma Kimdən qorxmaq lazım olduğunu sizə göstərim: adamı öldürəndən sonra cəhənnəmə atmağa ixtiyarı olan Allahdan qorxun. Bəli, sizə deyirəm: Ondan qorxun!
  1. In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
  2. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
  3. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
  4. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
  5. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

  2. Sizin başınızdakı saçlar belə, sayılıb. Qorxmayın, siz saysız-hesabsız sərçədən daha dəyərlisiniz.
  3. Mən sizə deyirəm: insanlar qarşısında Məni iqrar edən hər kəsi Bəşər Oğlu da Allahın mələkləri qarşısında iqrar edəcək.
  4. Amma insanlar önündə Məni inkar edən özü də Allahın mələkləri önündə inkar olunacaq.
  5. Bəşər Oğluna qarşı bir söz deyən hər kəs bağışlanacaq; amma Müqəddəs Ruha küfr edən bağışlanmayacaq.
  1. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
  2. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
  3. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
  4. But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
  5. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
 
 
  1. Sizi sinaqoqlara, başçıların və hökmdarların qarşısına gətirəndə özünüzü necə müdafiə edəcəyiniz və yaxud nə deyəcəyiniz barədə qayğı çəkməyin.
  2. Müqəddəs Ruh sizə o anda nə deməli olduğunuzu öyrədəcək».
  3. İzdihamdan bir nəfər İsaya dedi: «Müəllim, qardaşıma de ki, mirası mənimlə bölsün».
  4. İsa ona belə cavab verdi: «Ey insan, Məni kim üzərinizə hakim ya vəkil qoyub?»
  5. Sonra İsa onlara dedi: «Diqqətli olun, hər cür tamahkarlıqdan özünüzü qoruyun. Çünki insanın həyatı var-yoxunun bolluğundan asılı deyil».
  1. And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
  2. For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
  3. And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
  4. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
  5. And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
 
 
  1. İsa onlara bu məsəli danışdı: «Bir varlının torpağı bol məhsul verdi.
  2. Bu adam ürəyində düşündü: “Məhsulumu qoymağa yerim yoxdur. Axı nə edim?”
  3. Sonra dedi: “Belə edərəm: anbarlarımı söküb daha böyüklərini tikəcəyəm. Bütün taxılımı və malımı oraya yığaram.
  4. Canıma deyərəm: ey canım, illərlə kifayət qədər var-dövlət yığmısan. İndi dincəl, ye-iç, kef elə”.
  5. Amma Allah ona dedi: “Ay axmaq, bu gecə canını səndən alacaqlar. Bəs hazırladığın kimə qalacaq?”
  1. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
  2. And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
  3. And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
  4. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
  5. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
 
 
  1. Özü üçün xəzinə toplayan, amma Allahın önündə varlı olmayan hər bir insanın axırı da elə olacaq».
  2. İsa Öz şagirdlərinə belə dedi: «Buna görə sizə deyirəm: “Nə yeyəcəyik?” deyə canınız üçün, “Nə geyinəcəyik?” deyə bədəniniz üçün qayğı çəkməyin.
  3. Can yeməkdən, bədənsə geyinməkdən daha vacibdir.
  4. Qarğalara baxın: onlar nə əkir, nə də biçir, nə anbarları, nə də zirzəmiləri var. Amma Allah onları yedizdirir. Siz quşlardan nə qədər qiymətlisiniz!
  5. Hansı biriniz qayğı çəkməklə ömrünü bir anlıq belə, uzada bilər?
  1. So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
  2. And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
  3. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
  4. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
  5. And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
 
 
  1. Əgər siz elə balaca şeyi etməyi bacarmırsınızsa, nə üçün başqa şeylərin qayğısını çəkirsiniz?
  2. Zanbaqların necə böyüdüyünə baxın: onlar nə zəhmət çəkir, nə də ip əyirir. Lakin sizə bunu deyirəm ki, bütün cah-calalı içində olan Süleyman belə, bunlardan biri kimi geyinməmişdi.
  3. Ey imanı az olanlar, bu gün çöldə olub sabah ocağa atılan otu Allah belə geyindirirsə, sizi geyindirəcəyi nə qədər yəqindir!
  4. “Nə yeyəcəyik?”, “Nə içəcəyik?” deyə axtarıb narahat olmayın.
  5. Çünki dünyadakı bütpərəstlər bütün bu şeyləri axtarırlar. Doğrudan da, Atanız bunlara ehtiyacınız olduğunu bilir.
  1. If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
  2. Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
  3. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
  4. And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
  5. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
 
 
  1. Lakin siz Allahın Padşahlığını axtarın, onda bunlar da sizə əlavə olaraq veriləcək.
  2. Qorxma, ey kiçik sürü! Çünki Atanız Padşahlığı sizə verməyi münasib gördü.
  3. Əmlakınızı satın və sədəqə verin. Özünüzə köhnəlməyən kisələr, göylərdə tükənməyən xəzinə hazırlayın. Oraya nə oğru gələr, nə də onu güvə yeyər.
  4. Çünki xəzinəniz haradadırsa, ürəyiniz də orada olacaq».
  5. «Qoy qurşaqlarınız bellərinizdə bağlı və çıraqlarınız yana-yana qalsın.
  1. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
  2. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
  3. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
  4. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
  5. Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
 
 
  1. Toy ziyafətindən qayıdan ağasını gözləyən adamlara oxşayın. Onlar ağaları gəlib qapını döyən kimi qapını açmağa hazır olurlar.
  2. Nə bəxtiyardır o qullar ki, ağa qayıdanda onları oyaq görür! Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: o özü qurşaqlanıb qullarını süfrəyə oturdacaq və gəlib onlara xidmət edəcək.
  3. Ağa istər gecəyarı, istər ondan gec, səhərə yaxın gəlib qulları oyaq görsə, o qullar necə də bəxtiyardır!
  4. Amma bunu bilin ki, əgər evin yiyəsi oğrunun hansı saatda gələcəyini bilsəydi, evinin yarılmasına imkan verməzdi.
  5. Beləcə siz də hazır olun, çünki Bəşər Oğlu gözləmədiyiniz vaxt gələcək».
  1. And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
  2. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
  3. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
  4. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
  5. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
 
 
  1. Peter dedi: «Ya Rəbb, bu məsəli ancaq bizə danışırsan, yoxsa hamıya?»
  2. Rəbb cavab verdi: «Vaxtlı-vaxtında onlara yemək vermək üçün ağasının öz nökərləri üzərinə qoyduğu sadiq və ağıllı idarəçi kimdir?
  3. Nə bəxtiyardır o qul ki, ağası evinə qayıdanda onu iş başında görür!
  4. Sizə həqiqəti deyirəm: ağası bu qula bütün əmlakı üzərində idarəçiliyi tapşıracaq.
  5. Amma həmin qul ürəyində “ağam gec gələcək” deyərsə, başqa nökər və qarabaşları döyməyə, yeyib-içməyə, sərxoşluğa uymağa başlayarsa,
  1. Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
  2. And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
  3. Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
  4. Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
  5. But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
 
 
  1. o qulun ağası onun gözləmədiyi gün və ağlına gəlmədiyi vaxt gələcək, ona ağır cəza verəcək və onu sədaqətsizlərlə bir yerdə saxlayacaq.
  2. Ağasının istəyini bilib hazır olmayan və onun istəyinə əməl etməyən qul çox döyüləcək.
  3. Bilməyib o cəzaya layiq iş görənsə az döyüləcək. Kimə çox verilibsə, ondan çox da istəniləcək. Kimə çox tapşırılıbsa, ondan daha çox tələb olunacaq.
  4. Mən yer üzünə od yağdırmağa gəlmişəm. Kaş ki bu od artıq alışıb-yanaydı!
  5. Mənim alacağım bir vəftiz var. Bu vəftiz yerinə yetib qurtaranadək nə qədər sıxıntı çəkməliyəm!
  1. The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
  2. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
  3. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
  4. I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
  5. But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
 
 
  1. Siz düşünürsünüz ki, Mən yer üzünə sülh gətirməyə gəlmişəm? Xeyr, sizə deyirəm ki, Mən ayrılıq gətirməyə gəlmişəm!
  2. Çünki bundan sonra bir evdə yaşayan beş nəfər bir-birindən ayrılaraq üç nəfərə qarşı iki nəfər, iki nəfərə qarşı üç nəfər olacaq.
  3. Çünki ata oğlundan, oğul atasından, ana qızından, qız anasından, qayınana gəlinindən, gəlin də qayınanasından ayrılacaq».
  4. İsa camaata bunu da dedi: «Siz qərb tərəfdən qalxan buludu görəndə dərhal “yağış yağacaq” deyirsiniz, bu da olur.

  1. Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
  2. For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
  3. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
  4. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
  5. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
 
 
  1. Ey ikiüzlülər, yer üzünün və göyün görünüşünü seçə bilirsiniz, bəs onda nə üçün indiki zamanı seçə bilmirsiniz?
  2. Nə üçün düzgün olan şeyə özünüz qərar vermirsiniz?
  3. Səni ittiham edənlə birgə hakimin yanına gedəndə yolda ikən onunla barışmağa çalış. Yoxsa səni hakimin qabağına sürüyər, hakimsə məhkəmə icraçısına ötürər, o da səni zindana atar.
  4. Sənə bunu deyirəm: axırıncı qəpik-quruşunu verməyincə oradan əsla çıxmayacaqsan».
  1. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
  2. Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
  3. When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
  4. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.
