  1. Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart,
  2. saying, "In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man.
  3. "There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Give me legal protection from my opponent.'
  4. "For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God nor respect man,
  5. yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.'"
  1. İsa şagirdlərinə daim dua etmək və heç ruhdan düşməmək lazım olduğu barədə bir məsəl çəkdi.
  2. O dedi: «Bir şəhərdə Allahdan qorxmayan və adamlara hörmət etməyən bir hakim var idi.
  3. Elə həmin şəhərdə bir dul qadın da var idi. Qadın hey onun yanına gələrək deyərdi: “Rəqibimlə olan işimdə mənim haqqımı qoru”.
  4. Amma hakim bir müddət bunu etmək istəmədi, sonra isə öz-özünə dedi: “Hərçənd mən nə Allahdan qorxur, nə də adamlara hörmət edirəm,
  5. bu qadın mənim zəhləmi tökdüyü üçün onun haqqını qoruyum ki, bir də gəlib baş-qulağımı aparmasın”».
 
 
  1. And the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge said;
  2. now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?
  3. "I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"
  4. And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:
  5. "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
  1. Rəbb sözünə belə davam etdi: «Ədalətsiz hakimin nə dediyini dinləyin.
  2. Məgər Allah Öz seçdiklərini, gecə-gündüz Ondan imdad istəyənlərin haqqını qorumayacaqmı? Onları çox gözlədəcəkmi?
  3. Sizə bunu deyirəm: tezliklə onların haqqını qoruyacaq. Bəs Bəşər Oğlu gələndə yer üzündə iman tapacaqmı?»
  4. Özlərinin saleh olduğuna güvənib başqalarına xor baxan bəziləri üçün də İsa belə bir məsəl çəkdi:
  5. «Biri farisey, digəri isə vergiyığan olan iki nəfər dua etmək üçün məbədə girdi.
 
 
  1. "The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
  2. 'I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.'
  3. "But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'
  4. "I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."
  5. And they were bringing even their babies to Him so that He would touch them, but when the disciples saw it, they began rebuking them.
  1. Farisey ayaq üstə durub öz-özünə belə dua edirdi: “Ya Allah, Sənə şükürlər olsun ki, mən başqaları kimi soyğunçu, haqsız, zinakar ya da bu vergiyığan kimi deyiləm.
  2. Həftədə iki dəfə oruc tuturam, bütün qazandığımın onda birini verirəm”.
  3. Vergiyığan isə uzaqda durub gözlərini göyə qaldırmağa belə, cəsarət etmirdi, amma sinəsinə vurub hey deyirdi: “Ya Allah! Mən günahkara rəhm et!”
  4. Sizə deyirəm ki, o farisey yox, vergiyığan evinə saleh sayılaraq getdi. Çünki özünü yüksəldən hər kəs aşağı tutulacaq, özünü aşağı tutansa yüksəldiləcək».
  5. Adamlar körpələri də İsanın yanına gətirirdilər ki, İsa onlara toxunsun. Bunu görən şagirdlərsə onlara qadağan etdilər.
 
 
  1. But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
  2. "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."
  3. A ruler questioned Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"
  4. And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.
  5. "You know the commandments, 'DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, DO NOT MURDER, DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS, HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.'"
  1. Amma İsa uşaqları yanına çağırıb dedi: «Uşaqları buraxın, qoy Mənim yanıma gəlsinlər! Onlara mane olmayın! Çünki Allahın Padşahlığı belələrinə məxsusdur.
  2. Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: kim Allahın Padşahlığını bir uşaq kimi qəbul etməsə, oraya əsla daxil ola bilməz».
  3. Rəhbərlərdən biri İsadan soruşdu: «Ey yaxşı Müəllim, mən nə etməliyəm ki, əbədi həyatı irs olaraq alım?»
  4. İsa ona dedi: «Mənə niyə yaxşı deyirsən? Tək Allahdan başqa yaxşısı yoxdur.
  5. Onun əmrlərini bilirsən: “Zina etmə. Qətl etmə. Oğurluq etmə. Yalandan şahidlik etmə. Ata-anana hörmət et”».
 
 
  1. And he said, "All these things I have kept from my youth."
  2. When Jesus heard this, He said to him, "One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
  3. But when he had heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich.
  4. And Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
  5. "For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
  1. Bu adamsa dedi: «Bunların hamısına gəncliyimdən bəri riayət edirəm».
  2. İsa bunu eşidib ona dedi: «Sənin bir şeyin çatışmır: nəyin varsa, satıb yoxsullara payla. Onda göylərdə xəzinən olacaq. Sonra qayıt, Mənim ardımca gəl».
  3. Amma bu sözləri eşitdikdə həmin adamı dərin kədər bürüdü, çünki çox varlı idi.
  4. İsa onun dərindən kədərləndiyini görəndə dedi: «Var-dövləti olanların Allahın Padşahlığına daxil olması nə qədər çətindir!
  5. Doğrudan da, dəvənin iynə gözündən keçməsi varlı adamın Allahın Padşahlığına daxil olmasından asandır».
 
 
  1. They who heard it said, "Then who can be saved?"
  2. But He said, "The things that are impossible with people are possible with God."
  3. Peter said, "Behold, we have left our own homes and followed You."
  4. And He said to them, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
  5. who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life."
  1. Bunları eşidənlər dedilər: «Elə isə, kim xilas ola bilər?»
  2. O isə dedi: «İnsan üçün qeyri-mümkün olan, Allah üçün mümkündür».
  3. Peter isə dedi: «Bax biz hər şeyi qoyub Sənin ardınca gəlmişik».
  4. İsa onlara dedi: «Sizə doğrusunu deyirəm: Allahın Padşahlığı uğrunda ya evini ya arvadını ya bacı-qardaşlarını ya ata-anasını və yaxud uşaqlarını atan elə bir kəs yoxdur ki,
  5. bu dövrdə bundan neçə qat artıq, gələcək dövrdə isə əbədi həyat almasın».
 
 
  1. Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things which are written through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.
  2. "For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and mistreated and spit upon,
  3. and after they have scourged Him, they will kill Him; and the third day He will rise again."
  4. But the disciples understood none of these things, and the meaning of this statement was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend the things that were said.
  5. As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.
  1. İsa On İki şagirdi kənara çəkib onlara dedi: «Bax Yerusəlimə qalxırıq, Bəşər Oğlu üçün peyğəmbərlər vasitəsilə yazılanların hamısı tam yerinə yetəcək.
  2. Çünki O, başqa millətlərə təslim ediləcək. Onlar Onu ələ salıb təhqir edəcək, Ona tüpürəcək
  3. və qamçılayıb öldürəcəklər. O, üçüncü gün diriləcək».
  4. Amma şagirdlər bu sözlərdən heç bir şey başa düşmədilər. Bu sözlər onlar üçün gizli saxlandı və onlar deyilənləri anlamırdılar.
  5. İsa Yerixoya yaxınlaşanda bir kor adam yol kənarında oturub dilənirdi.
 
 
  1. Now hearing a crowd going by, he began to inquire what this was.
  2. They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
  3. And he called out, saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
  4. Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
  5. And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him,
  1. Yanından çoxlu adamın keçdiyini eşitdikdə soruşdu: «Nə olub?»
  2. Ona xəbər verdilər: «Nazaretli İsa buradan keçir».
  3. Onda o qışqırdı: «Ey Davud Oğlu İsa! Mənə rəhm elə!»
  4. Qabaqda gedənlər ona qadağan edib susdurmaq istəsələr də, o «Ey Davud Oğlu! Mənə rəhm elə!» deyə daha ucadan bağırdı.
  5. İsa dayanıb əmr etdi ki, onu yanına gətirsinlər. Adam yaxınlaşarkən İsa ondan soruşdu:
 
 
  1. "What do you want Me to do for you?" And he said, "Lord, I want to regain my sight!"
  2. And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has made you well."
  3. Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.
  1. «Nə istəyirsən, sənin üçün edim?» O dedi: «Ya Rəbb, gözlərim açılsın».
  2. İsa ona dedi: «Qoy gözlərin açılsın, imanın səni xilas etdi».
  3. Həmin an bu adamın gözləri açıldı və o, Allahı izzətləndirərək İsanın ardınca getdi. Bunu görən bütün xalq Allaha həmdlər etdi.
