  1. And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
  2. And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
  3. And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
  4. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?
  5. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

  2. Ona dedilər: «De görək, Sən bu işləri hansı səlahiyyətlə edirsən? Sənə bu səlahiyyəti kim verib?»
  3. İsa onlara belə cavab verdi: «Mən də sizə bir sual verəcəyəm. Mənə deyin:
  4. Yəhyanın vəftizi göydən idimi, yoxsa insanlardan?»
  5. Onlarsa öz aralarında müzakirə edərək belə dedilər: «Əgər desək “göydən”, “Bəs nə üçün ona inanmadınız?” deyəcək.
 
 
  1. But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
  2. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
  3. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
  4. Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
  5. And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
  1. Amma desək “insanlardan”, bütün xalq bizi daşqalaq edər. Çünki xalq Yəhyanın peyğəmbər olmasına əmindir».
  2. Axırda Ona cavab verdilər: «Biz bilmirik haradandır».

  4. İsa xalqa belə bir məsəl çəkməyə başladı: «Bir adam üzüm bağı saldı və bağı bağbanlara icarəyə verərək uzun müddətə başqa ölkəyə getdi.
  5. Məhsul vaxtı çatanda bağbanların yanına bir qul göndərdi ki, onlar üzüm bağının məhsulundan bir qədərini ona versinlər. Lakin bağbanlar qulu döyərək əliboş geri qaytardılar.
 
 
  1. And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
  2. And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
  3. Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
  4. But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
  5. So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
  1. Bağ sahibi başqa bir qul göndərdi, amma onlar bunu da döyüb biabır etdilər və əliboş geri qaytardılar.
  2. O, üçüncüsünü də göndərdi, amma onlar onu da yaralayıb qovdular.
  3. Onda bağ sahibi dedi: “Mən nə edim? Qoy öz sevimli oğlumu göndərim, bəlkə ona hörmət edərlər”.
  4. Amma bağbanlar onu gördükdə öz aralarında danışıb dedilər: “Varis budur. Gəlin onu öldürək ki, miras bizə qalsın”.
  5. Beləcə onu bağdan kənara çıxarıb öldürdülər. Beləliklə, bağ sahibi onlara nə edəcək?
 
 
  1. He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
  2. And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
  3. Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
  4. And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
  5. And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
  1. Gəlib həmin bağbanları həlak edəcək və bağı başqalarına verəcək». Bunu eşidənlərsə dedilər: «Qoy belə olmasın».
  2. Amma İsa onların gözlərinin içinə baxıb dedi: «Bəs bu Yazının mənası nədir? “Bənnaların rədd etdiyi daş Guşədaşı olub”.
  3. Bu daşın üstünə yıxılan hər kəs parçalanacaq, daşsa kimin üzərinə düşərsə, onu əzəcək».
  4. İlahiyyatçılar və başçı kahinlər başa düşdülər ki, İsa bu məsəli onlar barədə söylədi. Ona görə də həmin an Onu yaxalamaq üçün yol axtardılar, lakin xalqdan qorxdular.
  5. İsanı güdürdülər və yanına özlərini dürüst insan kimi göstərən bir neçə casus göndərdilər. Onu dediyi söz üstə tutub valinin hökm və səlahiyyətinə təslim etmək məqsədləri var idi.
 
 
  1. And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
  2. Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
  3. But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
  4. Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.
  5. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
  1. Onlar İsadan soruşdular: «Müəllim, biz bilirik ki, Sən düz danışırsan, təlim öyrədirsən və heç kimə tərəfkeşlik etmirsən, lakin Allahın yolunu həqiqətə görə öyrədirsən.
  2. Bizim üçün qeysərə vergi verməyə icazə var ya yox?»
  3. Amma İsa onların hiyləsini başa düşüb belə dedi:
  4. «Mənə bir dinar göstərin. Onun üstündəki təsvir və yazı kimindir?» Onlar cavab verdilər: «Qeysərin».
  5. İsa onlara dedi: «Onda qeysərin haqqını qeysərə, Allahın haqqını Allaha verin».
 
 
  1. And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
  2. Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
  3. Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
  4. There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
  5. And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
  1. İsanı xalq qarşısında söz üstə tuta bilmədilər və Onun cavabına heyrət edib susdular.
  2. Dirilmənin olmadığını iddia edən sadukeylərdən bəzisi İsanın yanına gəlib soruşdu:
  3. «Müəllim, Musa bizim üçün belə yazmışdı: “Əgər bir adamın evli qardaşı övladsız ölsə, o biri qardaş dul qalmış arvadı alıb ölən qardaşın nəslini davam etdirsin”.
  4. Yeddi qardaş var idi. Birincisi bir arvad aldı və övladsız öldü.

  1. And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
  2. Last of all the woman died also.
  3. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
  4. And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
  5. But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
  1. üçüncüsü də bu arvadla evləndi. Beləcə yeddisi də özündən sonra övlad qoymadan öldü.
  2. Hamısından sonra bu qadın da öldü.
  3. Ölülər diriləndə bu qadın onlardan hansının arvadı olacaq? Çünki yeddi qardaşın yeddisi də bu qadını almışdı».
  4. İsa onlara belə cavab verdi: «Bu dövrün insanları evlənir və ərə gedir.
  5. Amma gələcək dövrə yetişməyə və ölülər arasından dirilməyə layiq sayılanlarsa nə evlənəcək, nə də ərə gedəcək.
 
 
  1. Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
  2. Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
  3. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
  4. Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.
  5. And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
  1. Artıq ölə də bilməzlər, çünki mələklərə bənzəyirlər və dirilmə övladları olduqlarına görə onlar Allahın övladlarıdır.
  2. Amma ölülərin dirildiyini Musa da kolla bağlı əhvalatda Rəbbi “İbrahimin Allahı, İshaqın Allahı və Yaqubun Allahı” adlandıraraq göstərib.
  3. Allah ölülərin deyil, dirilərin Allahıdır. Çünki Onun yanında hamı diridir».
  4. İlahiyyatçılardan bəzisi buna cavab olaraq dedi: «Müəllim, Sən nə gözəl dedin».
  5. Daha İsadan bir şey soruşmağa cəsarət etmədilər.
 
 
  1. And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?
  2. And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
  3. Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
  4. David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
  5. Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
  1. Amma İsa onlara dedi: «Niyə Məsih Davudun Oğludur deyirlər?
  2. Axı Davud özü Zəbur kitabında “Rəbb mənim Ağama dedi: ‹Mən düşmənlərini ayaqlarının altına kətil kimi salanadək Sağımda otur›” deyib.
  4. Deməli, Davud Ona “Ağa” deyə müraciət edir. O necə Davudun oğlu ola bilər?»
  5. Bütün xalq bu sözləri dinləyəndə İsa Öz şagirdlərinə dedi:
 
 
  1. Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
  2. Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
  1. «İlahiyyatçılardan özünüzü gözləyin. Onlar uzun paltarlarda gəzməyi xoşlayar, bazar meydanlarında salam almağı və sinaqoqlarda baş kürsüləri, ziyafətlərdə yuxarı başı tutmağı sevərlər.
  2. Onlar dul qadınların evlərini yeyib-dağıdar və özlərini göstərmək üçün uzun-uzadı dua edərlər. Bu adamların cəzası daha ağır olacaq».
