  1. Özümüz barədə yenə zəmanət veririkmi? Yoxsa bəziləri kimi sizə yazılan və yaxud sizin yazdığınız zəmanət məktublarına ehtiyacımız var?
  2. Bütün insanların tanıdığı, oxuduğu, ürəklərimizə yazılmış məktubumuz sizsiniz.
  3. Xidmətimizin nəticəsi olan bir Məsih məktubu olduğunuz aydın görünür; bu məktub mürəkkəblə yox, var olan Allahın Ruhu ilə daş lövhələrə deyil, ət ürəklərə yazılıb.
  4. Məsih sayəsində Allah hüzurunda belə etibarımız var.
  5. Özümüzdən yaranan qabiliyyətimiz yoxdur və bunu iddia da edə bilmərik. Bizə qabiliyyət verən Allahdır.
  1. Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
  2. Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
  3. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
  4. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
  5. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
 
 
  1. O bizi Yeni Əhdin xidmətçiləri olmaq üçün qabiliyyətli etdi. Bu Yeni Əhd yazılı Qanuna deyil, Ruha əsaslanır. Çünki yazılı Qanun öldürür, Ruh isə həyat verir.
  2. Ölümlə nəticələnən xidmət, yəni daş lövhələr üzərində həkk olunan yazılı Qanun elə ehtişamla gəldi ki, Musanın üzündən parlayan ehtişam ötəri olduğu halda İsrail övladları onun üzünə baxa bilmirdilər.
  3. Onda Ruha əsaslanan xidmət daha da ehtişamlı olmazmı?
  4. Əgər insanı məhkum edən xidmətin ehtişamı varsa, salehlik qazandıran xidmətin ehtişamı nə qədər çoxdur.
  5. Çünki əvvəllər ehtişamlı olanın indi hədsiz ehtişamı olanla müqayisədə ehtişamı yoxdur.
  1. Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
  2. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
  3. How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
  4. For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
  5. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
 
 
  1. Əgər ötəri olan ehtişamla gəldisə, daimi olanın ehtişamı daha da böyükdür.

  3. İsrail övladları onun üzündəki ötəri ehtişamın keçib-getməsinə baxmasın deyə üzünə niqab çəkən Musa kimi deyilik.
  4. İsrail övladları fikirlərində inadkar oldu. Bu günə qədər Köhnə Əhd oxunarkən onları eyni niqab qapayır, açılmır, çünki bu yalnız Məsih vasitəsilə götürülür.
  5. Hətta bu günə qədər Musanın Yazıları nə vaxt oxunursa, onların ürəklərini bir niqab qapayır.
  1. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
  2. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
  3. And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
  4. But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
  5. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
 
 
  1. Amma kim Rəbbə tərəf dönürsə, o vaxt niqab aradan qaldırılır.
  2. Rəbb Ruhdur, Rəbbin Ruhu haradadırsa, azadlıq da oradadır.
  3. Biz hamımız niqabsız üzdə Rəbbin ehtişamını əks etdirərək Rəbbin surətində dəyişilirik. Ruh olan Rəbdən yaranan bu ehtişam get-gedə bizdə görünməyə başlayır.
  1. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
  2. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
  3. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
