  1. For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
  2. For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
  3. Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
  4. Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
  5. Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.
  1. Müqəddəslərə göstəriləcək yardımla əlaqədar sizə yazmağıma ehtiyac yoxdur.
  2. Çünki yardım etməyə həvəsiniz olduğunu bilirəm. Axayyada olan sizlərin keçən ildən bəri hazırlıqlı olduğunuzu söyləyərək Makedoniyalılar qarşısında fəxr etməkdəyəm. Sizin səyiniz onların çoxunu hərəkətə gətirdi.
  3. Sizinlə etdiyimiz fəxr bu işdə boşa çıxmasın deyə qardaşları yanınıza göndərirəm və dediyim kimi gərək hazır olasınız.
  4. Belə ki bəzi Makedoniyalılar mənimlə gəlib sizin hazır olmadığınızı görərsə, sizə etibar etdiyimizə görə nə biz utanaq, nə də siz.
  5. Ona görə də mən qardaşlardan xahiş etməyə ehtiyac duyuram ki, məndən əvvəl yanınıza gəlib vəd edilmiş bol bəxşişlərinizi qabaqcadan hazır etsinlər. Qoy bu bəxşişlər istismarçılıqla yox, könüllü surətdə hazır olsun.
 
 
  1. But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
  2. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
  3. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
  4. (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
  5. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
  1. Yadda saxlayın: az əkən az, bol-bol əkən bol-bol biçəcək.
  2. Könülsüz yaxud məcburi yox, hər kəs ürəyinin niyyətinə görə pay versin. Çünki Allah sevinə-sevinə pay verən adamı sevir.
  3. Allah sizə hər bir neməti bol-bol verə bilər. Belə ki hər bir şeyə həmişə, hərtərəfli, kifayət qədər sahib olmaqla hər yaxşı əməl üçün bol-bol imkanınız olsun.
  4. Necə ki yazılıb: «Səpələyər, fəqirlərə paylayar, Salehliyi əbədi qalar».
  5. Əkinçiyə toxum və yemək üçün çörək ehtiyatı verən Allah sizin də əkin ehtiyatınızı çoxaldacaq və salehliyinizin bəhrəsini artıracaq.
 
 
  1. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
  2. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
  3. Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
  4. And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
  5. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
  1. Hər tərəfli səxavətli olmanız üçün hər baxımdan varlandırılacaqsınız. Səxavətiniz bizim vasitəmizlə Allaha şükür etməyə səbəb olacaq.
  2. Çünki etdiyiniz bu xidmət yalnız müqəddəslərin ehtiyaclarını ödəməklə kifayətlənmir, həm də Allaha edilən çox şükürlərlə aşıb-daşır.
  3. Bu xidmətlə sübut etdiyiniz kimi, iqrar etdiyiniz Məsihin Müjdəsinə itaət göstərdiyinizə, onlara və hamıya səxavətlə yardım göndərdiyinizə görə Allahı izzətləndirirlər.
  4. Allahın sizə bəxş etdiyi hədsiz lütfə görə hər birinizin həsrətini çəkərək sizin üçün dua edirlər.
  5. Allahın sözlə ifadə oluna bilməyən bəxşişinə görə Ona şükür olsun!
