  1. Beləliklə, sevimli övladlar kimi Allahdan nümunə götürün.
  2. Məsih bizi necə sevdisə, Özünü bizim üçün Allahın xoşuna gələn ətirli təqdim və qurban olaraq fəda etdisə, siz də məhəbbətdə elə həyat sürün.
  3. Əxlaqsızlığın, hər cür murdarlığın və yaxud tamahkarlığın adı belə, aranızda çəkilməsin, çünki bunlar müqəddəslərə yaraşmaz.
  4. Ədəbsizlik, boşboğazlıq və yaxud kobud zarafat da olmasın. Bunlar sizə yaramaz. Bunun əvəzində qoy şükür olsun.
  5. Əlbəttə, bilirsiniz ki, heç bir əxlaqsız, murdar yaxud bütpərəstə tay olan tamahkar adam Məsihin və Allahın Padşahlığında irsə malik olmayacaq.
  1. Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
  2. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
  3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
  4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
  5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
 
 
  1. Qoy heç kim sizi boş sözlərlə aldatmasın. Bu şeylərə görə Allahın qəzəbi itaətsiz adamların üzərinə gəlir.
  2. Buna görə də onların şəriki olmayın.
  3. Siz də bir zamanlar zülmət idiniz, indi isə Rəbdə nursunuz. Ona görə də nur övladları kimi həyat sürün.
  4. Çünki nurun bəhrəsi hər cür yaxşılıqda, salehlikdə və həqiqətdə görülür.
  5. Rəbbi razı salan şeyləri ayırd edin,
  1. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
  2. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
  3. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
  4. (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
  5. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
 
 
  1. qaranlığın səmərəsiz əməllərinə şərik olmayın. Əksinə, bunları ifşa edin.
  2. Belə ki qaranlıqdakıların gizlicə etdikləri şeyləri söyləmək də ayıbdır.
  3. Nurun ifşa etdiyi hər şey aşkardır,
  4. bu cür nə aşkara çıxırsa, özü də nur olur. Buna görə belə deyilir: «Ey yatan, oyan və ölülər arasından diril! Məsih sənin üzərinə nur saçacaq».

  1. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
  2. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
  3. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
  4. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
  5. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
 
 
  1. Hər fürsətdən istifadə edin, çünki günlər şərdir.
  2. Buna görə ağılsız olmayın, Rəbbin iradəsini dərk edin.
  3. Şərabdan sərxoş olmayın, bu sizi mənəviyyatsızlığa aparır. Bunun əvəzinə Ruhla dolun.
  4. Bir-birinizə məzmurlar, ilahilər və ruhani nəğmələr oxuyun, Rəbbə ürəkdən nəğmələr çalıb-oxuyun.
  5. Həmişə hər şeyə görə Rəbbimiz İsa Məsihin adı ilə Ata Allaha şükür edin.
  1. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
  2. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
  3. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
  4. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
  5. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
 
 
  1. Məsih qorxusu ilə bir-birinizə tabe olun.
  2. Ey qadınlar, Rəbbə tabe olduğunuz kimi ərlərinizə tabe olun.
  3. Çünki bədənin Xilaskarı olan Məsih imanlılar cəmiyyətinin Başı olduğu kimi ər də arvadının başıdır.
  4. Ona görə cəmiyyət Məsihə tabe olduğu kimi arvadlar da hər vəziyyətdə öz ərlərinə tabe olsunlar.
  5. Ey ərlər, Məsih imanlılar cəmiyyətini sevib onun uğrunda Özünü fəda etdiyi kimi siz də arvadlarınızı sevin.
  1. Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
  2. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
  3. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
  4. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
  5. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
 
 
  1. Məsih bunu ona görə etdi ki, cəmiyyəti su ilə yuyub kəlamla təmizləyərək təqdis etsin
  2. və beləcə onda ləkə, qırışıq yaxud başqa qüsur olmadan izzətli şəkildə, müqəddəs və nöqsansız olaraq Öz hüzuruna çıxarsın.
  3. Ərlər də eyni şəkildə arvadlarını öz bədənləri kimi sevməlidirlər. Arvadını sevən özünü sevir.
  4. Çünki heç kim heç zaman öz vücuduna nifrət etməz. Əksinə, Məsih cəmiyyətə yanaşdığı kimi onu bəsləyib qayğısına qalar.
  5. Axı biz Onun bədən üzvləriyik.
  1. That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
  2. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
  3. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
  4. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
  5. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
 
 
  1. «Buna görə də kişi ata-anasını tərk edib arvadına qovuşacaq və ikisi bir bədən olacaq».
  2. Bu sirr böyükdür, mən bunun Məsihə və cəmiyyətə dəxli olduğunu söyləyirəm.
  3. Sizə gəlincə, qoy hər kəs öz arvadını özü kimi sevsin, arvad isə ərinə ehtiram etsin.
  1. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
  2. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
  3. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
