  1. Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
  2. If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking?
  3. Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
  4. Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.
  5. But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
  1. Temanlı Elifaz belə cavab verdi:
  2. «Kimsə sənə bir söz desə, inciyərsənmi? Danışmasın deyə kim özünü saxlaya bilər?
  3. Bəli, çoxlarına dərs verdin, Onları əlləri taqətdən düşərkən gücləndirdin.
  4. Yıxılanları sözlərinlə qaldırdın, Dizləri əsənlərə güc verdin.
  5. İndi bu iş başına gələrkən Özün taqətdən düşdün, Bəla sənə dəyəndə özünü itirdin.
 
 
  1. Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways?
  2. Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off?
  3. Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
  4. By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
  5. The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
  1. Sən Allah xofuna etibar etmirdinmi? Kamil həyatına ümid edən sən deyildinmi?
  2. Kimdir günahsız məhv olan? İndi yada sal. Əməlisalehlərin həlak olduğunu harada görmüsən?
  3. Mənim gördüyümə görə şər sahəsini belləyən, Əzab toxumu səpən insanlar əkdiyini biçər.
  4. Onlar Allahın nəfəsi ilə yox olar, Qəzəbinin küləyi onları udar.
  5. Aslanların nəfəsi, qızmış şirlərin səsi kəsildi, Gənc aslanların dişləri qırıldı.
 
 
  1. The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the stout lion's whelps are scattered abroad.
  2. Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
  3. In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
  4. Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
  5. Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
  1. Şikarı olmadığı üçün güclü aslan həlak olar, Dişi aslanların balaları pərən-pərən qalar.
  2. Mənə gizli bir söz çatdı, Qulağım bir pıçıltı eşitdi,
  3. Gecə röyalardan doğan düşüncələr içində olanda, İnsanların dərin yuxuya getdiyi zamanda
  4. Üstümə bir qorxu, bir titrətmə gəldi, Bütün sümüklərimi lərzəyə saldı.
  5. Qarşımdan bir ruh keçdi, Bütün tüklərimi ürpətdi.
 
 
  1. It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
  2. Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
  3. Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
  4. How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
  5. They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
  1. Ruh dayandı, bunun nə olduğunu bilmədim. Gözlərimin önündə bir surət dururdu, Sükunətin içindən bir səs eşitdim:
  2. “İnsan Allah qarşısında saleh olarmı? Yaradanın qarşısında təmiz adam varmı?
  3. Allah bəndələrinə güvənmir, Mələklərində belə, səhv görür.
  4. Palçıq evlərdə yaşayanlara, Mayası torpaqdan olanlara, Güvədən də tez əzilənlərə O güvənərmi?
  5. Ömürləri səhərdən axşama çatmır, Fərqi yoxdur, hamı əbədi yox olur.
 
 
  1. Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.
  1. Yaşadıqları çadırın ipləri çəkiləndə Heç nə anlamazlar, ölüb gedərlər”.
