Иов 4 [Russian:NASB]   
 
  1. И отвечал Елифаз Феманитянин и сказал:
  2. [если] попытаемся мы [сказать] к тебе слово, --не тяжело ли будет тебе? Впрочем кто может возбранить слову!
  3. Вот, ты наставлял многих и опустившиеся руки поддерживал,
  4. падающего восставляли слова твои, и гнущиеся колени ты укреплял.
  5. А теперь дошло до тебя, и ты изнемог; коснулось тебя, и ты упал духом.
  1. Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered,
  2. "If one ventures a word with you, will you become impatient? But who can refrain from speaking?
  3. "Behold you have admonished many, And you have strengthened weak hands.
  4. "Your words have helped the tottering to stand, And you have strengthened feeble knees.
  5. "But now it has come to you, and you are impatient; It touches you, and you are dismayed.
 
 
  1. Богобоязненность твоя не должна ли быть твоею надеждою, и непорочность путей твоих--упованием твоим?
  2. Вспомни же, погибал ли кто невинный, и где праведные бывали искореняемы?
  3. Как я видал, то оравшие нечестие и сеявшие зло пожинают его;
  4. от дуновения Божия погибают и от духа гнева Его исчезают.
  5. Рев льва и голос рыкающего [умолкает], и зубы скимнов сокрушаются;
  1. "Is not your fear of God your confidence, And the integrity of your ways your hope?
  2. "Remember now, who ever perished being innocent? Or where were the upright destroyed?
  3. "According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity And those who sow trouble harvest it.
  4. "By the breath of God they perish, And by the blast of His anger they come to an end.
  5. "The roaring of the lion and the voice of the fierce lion, And the teeth of the young lions are broken.
 
 
  1. могучий лев погибает без добычи, и дети львицы рассеиваются.
  2. И вот, ко мне тайно принеслось слово, и ухо мое приняло нечто от него.
  3. Среди размышлений о ночных видениях, когда сон находит на людей,
  4. объял меня ужас и трепет и потряс все кости мои.
  5. И дух прошел надо мною; дыбом стали волосы на мне.
  1. "The lion perishes for lack of prey, And the whelps of the lioness are scattered.
  2. "Now a word was brought to me stealthily, And my ear received a whisper of it.
  3. "Amid disquieting thoughts from the visions of the night, When deep sleep falls on men,
  4. Dread came upon me, and trembling, And made all my bones shake.
  5. "Then a spirit passed by my face; The hair of my flesh bristled up.
 
 
  1. Он стал, --но я не распознал вида его, --только облик был пред глазами моими; тихое веяние, --и я слышу голос:
  2. человек праведнее ли Бога? и муж чище ли Творца своего?
  3. Вот, Он и слугам Своим не доверяет и в Ангелах Своих усматривает недостатки:
  4. тем более--в обитающих в храминах из брения, которых основание прах, которые истребляются скорее моли.
  5. Между утром и вечером они распадаются; не увидишь, как они вовсе исчезнут.
  1. "It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance; A form was before my eyes; There was silence, then I heard a voice:
  2. 'Can mankind be just before God? Can a man be pure before his Maker?
  3. 'He puts no trust even in His servants; And against His angels He charges error.
  4. 'How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, Whose foundation is in the dust, Who are crushed before the moth!
  5. 'Between morning and evening they are broken in pieces; Unobserved, they perish forever.
 
 
  1. Не погибают ли с ними и достоинства их? Они умирают, не достигнув мудрости.
  1. 'Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them? They die, yet without wisdom.'
