  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
  3. If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
  4. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
  5. Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.
  1. Əyyub belə cavab verdi:
  2. «Belə olduğunu, həqiqətən, bilirəm. Amma Allah qarşısında insan necə haqlı çıxa bilər?
  3. Əgər Onunla kimsə mübahisə etmək istəsə, Onun min sualına bir cavab tapa bilməz.
  4. Hikməti dərin, gücü tükənməyən Odur. Ona qarşı duranlardan kim sağ qalıb?
  5. Allah dağları yerindən oynadar, Dağlar heç bilməz. Qəzəbi ilə onları alt-üst edər.
 
 
  1. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
  2. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
  3. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
  4. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
  5. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
  1. Dünyanı yerindən oynadar, Dirəklərini lərzəyə salar.
  2. Əmr etsə, günəş doğmaz, Ulduzların işığını örtüb möhürlər.
  3. Odur təkbaşına göyləri sərən, Dəniz dalğalarının üstündə gəzən.
  4. Odur Böyük Ayı, Orion, Ülkər bürclərini, Cənub bürclərini yaradan.
  5. Odur dərk etmədiyimizdən də böyük işlər görən, Saysız xariqələr göstərən.
 
 
  1. Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
  2. Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?
  3. If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
  4. How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him?
  5. Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.
  1. Bax yanımdan elə keçər ki, Onu görə bilmərəm, Elə keçib gedər ki, heç hiss etmərəm.
  2. Nə isə tutub apararsa, kim Ona mane ola bilər? Kim Ona “Nə edirsən?” deyə bilər?
  3. Allah qəzəbini geri döndərməz, Rahavın köməkçiləri belə, ayağı altda qalar.
  4. Belə isə Ona necə cavab verə bilərəm? Hüzurunda necə söz tapa bilərəm?
  5. Günahsız olsam belə, Ona cavab verə bilmərəm, Rəhm etsin deyə Hökmdarıma yalvarmalıyam.
 
 
  1. If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.
  2. For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.
  3. He will not suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness.
  4. If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
  5. If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
  1. Onu çağıranda O mənə cavab versə belə, Yenə inanmıram ki, O, səsimi eşidir.
  2. Çünki tufanla məni əzir, Nahaq yerə yaralarımı çoxaldır,
  3. Məni nəfəs almağa qoymur, Məni acılarla cana doydurur,
  4. İş qüvvədədirsə, O qüvvəlidir, İş ədalətdədirsə, kim Onu hakimin qarşısına apara bilər?
  5. Mən günahsız olsam belə, dilim məni ittiham edər, Kamil olsam belə, məni təqsirkar çıxarar.
 
 
  1. Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.
  2. This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
  3. If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.
  4. The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
  5. Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
  1. Kamil olsam da, bir şey deyiləm, Öz həyatıma xor baxıram.
  2. Hamısı birdir, ona görə deyirəm: “O həm kamili, həm də günahkarı yox edir”.
  3. Əgər qəfil ölüm gəlsə, Günahsızların əzabına gülür.
  4. Dünya pislərə təslim edilib, Dünya hakimlərinin gözünü bağlayan Odur. O deyilsə, bəs kimdir?
  5. Günlərim sürətlə qaçır, çapardan sürətlidir, Bir xeyir tapmadan qaçırlar.
 
 
  1. They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.
  2. If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:
  3. I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.
  4. If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?
  5. If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
  1. Qamış qayıq kimi keçib gedirlər Ovunun üstünə şığıyan qartal kimidirlər.
  2. Bu şikayətimi unutmaq istəsəm, Sifətimin ifadəsini dəyişib ürəyimin açılmasını istəsəm,
  3. Bu əziyyətdən yenə vahimələnərəm, Məni günahsız saymayacağını bilərəm.
  4. Madam ki yenə günahkar çıxacağam, Boş yerə niyə belə zəhmət çəkim?
  5. Əgər qar suyu ilə yuyunsam, Əllərimi gilabı ilə yusam,
 
 
  1. Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.
  2. For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
  3. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
  4. Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:
  5. Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
  1. Yenə də məni çirkaba batırarsan, Paltarlarım belə, məndən iyrənir.
  2. O mənim kimi insan olmadığına görə Ona cavab verə bilmirəm, məhkəməyə birgə gedə bilmirəm.
  3. Kaş aramızda bir hakim olaydı, Əlini ikimizin də üzərinə qoyaydı.
  4. Allah Öz dəyənəyini üstümdən götürəydi, Dəhşəti ilə məni vahimələndirməyəydi.
  5. O zaman Ondan qorxmadan danışardım, Amma bu vəziyyətdə heç nə edə bilmirəm.
