  1. Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
  2. Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
  3. Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
  4. For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
  5. But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
  1. Naamatlı Sofar belə cavab verdi:
  2. «Bu qədər söz cavabsız qalsınmı? Çox danışan haqlı sayılsınmı?
  3. İnsanlar boşboğazlıqlarının qarşısında sussunmu? Sən rişxənd edəndə səni saxlamasınlar?
  4. Allaha deyirsən: “İmanda safam, Gözün görür ki, pakam”.
  5. Kaş ki Allah danışaydı, Sənə qarşı ağzını açaydı.
 
 
  1. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
  2. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
  3. It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
  4. The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
  5. If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
  1. Səni hikmətin sirlərindən agah etsəydi, Hikmətin çox şaxələri üzə çıxardı. Bil ki, Allah günahlarının neçəsindən keçib.
  2. Allahın dərin sirlərini dərk edə bilərsənmi? Külli-İxtiyarın sərhədlərinə çata bilərsənmi?
  3. Onlar göylər qədər ucadır, axı nə edə bilərsən? Ölülər diyarından dərindir, nəyi dərk edə bilərsən?
  4. Meyarı aləmdən uzundur, Dənizlərdən genişdir.
  5. Əgər gəlib səni zindana salarsa, məhkum edərsə, Kim Onun qarşısını ala bilər?
 
 
  1. For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
  2. For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.
  3. If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
  4. If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
  5. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
  1. O, yalançıları tanıyır, Pisliyi görəndə onu dərk edir.
  2. Vəhşi eşşək insan olaraq doğulanda Axmaq da ağla gələr.
  3. Əgər ürəyini təqdis etsən, Əllərini Ona tərəf uzatsan,
  4. Günahın varsa, ondan əl çək, Qoyma pislik çadırında sakin olsun.
  5. Onda başını utanmadan dik tutarsan, Sağ-salamat, qorxusuz yaşayarsan.
 
 
  1. Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:
  2. And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
  3. And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
  4. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
  5. But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
  1. Sən dar gününü unudub Onu axıb-qurtaran bir su kimi yad edərsən.
  2. Həyatın gündüzün günəşindən də parlaq olar, Qaranlığın səhər kimi işıqlanar.
  3. Çünki ümidin var, sən arxayınsan, Mühafizə olunaraq rahat yatarsan.
  4. Yatanda belə, səni qorxudan olmaz, Sənin lütfünü çoxları arzular.
  5. Amma pis adamların gözlərinin nuru sönəcək, Onların pənah yeri olmayacaq, Yeganə ümidləri son nəfəslərini vermək olacaq».
