  1. Əyyub belə cavab verdi:
  2. «Sözlərimi diqqətlə dinləyin, Siz bununla mənə təsəlli verin.
  3. Qoyun mən də bir şey deyim, Mən danışandan sonra lağ edin.
  4. Şikayətim insana qarşıdırmı? Mən necə səbir edim?
  5. Mənə baxıb mat qalın, Əlinizi ağzınızın üstünə qoyun.
  1. Then Job replied:
  2. "Listen carefully to my words; let this be the consolation you give me.
  3. Bear with me while I speak, and after I have spoken, mock on.
  4. "Is my complaint directed to man? Why should I not be impatient?
  5. Look at me and be astonished; clap your hand over your mouth.
 
 
  1. Bunu düşünəndə köksümü dəhşət bürüyür, Bədənimə titrətmə düşür.
  2. Pislər nə üçün yaşayır? Yaşlandıqca niyə gücləri artır?
  3. Övladları ətrafında, Nəsilləri gözlərinin qarşısında sapsağlamdır.
  4. Evlərində əmin-amanlıqdır, qorxudan uzaqdır, Allahın dəyənəyi onlara dəymir.
  5. Öküzləri cütləşir, qarınları boş qalmır, Doğar inəkləri var, bala salmaz.
  1. When I think about this, I am terrified; trembling seizes my body.
  2. Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power?
  3. They see their children established around them, their offspring before their eyes.
  4. Their homes are safe and free from fear; the rod of God is not upon them.
  5. Their bulls never fail to breed; their cows calve and do not miscarry.
 
 
  1. Övladlarını sürü tək yola salır, Uşaqları oynaşır.
  2. Dəf və lira çalaraq nəğmə deyirlər, Tütək səsi ilə şənlənirlər.
  3. Ömürlərini firavan keçirirlər, Ölülər diyarına rahat gedirlər.
  4. Allaha belə deyirlər: “Bizdən uzaq ol, Yolunu tanımaq istəmirik.
  5. Kimdir Külli-İxtiyar, biz Ona qulluq edək? Əgər Ona dua etsək, bizə nə fayda verər?”
  1. They send forth their children as a flock; their little ones dance about.
  2. They sing to the music of tambourine and harp; they make merry to the sound of the flute.
  3. They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace.
  4. Yet they say to God, 'Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways.
  5. Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? What would we gain by praying to him?'
 
 
  1. Görürsən ki, xoşbəxtlikləri öz əllərində deyil, Pislərin nəsihəti qoy məndən uzaq olsun!
  2. Neçə dəfə pislərin çırağı söndü, Başlarına bəla gəldi. Allah qəzəblənəndə onlara kədəri pay verdimi?
  3. Neçə dəfə yel sovuran saman kimi, Tufanın uçurduğu saman çöpü kimi oldular?
  4. Deyirsiniz ki, Allah Atanın cəzasını övladına çəkdirir. Bunun nə olduğunu bilsin deyə özünə çəkdirsin.
  5. Qoy öz həlakını gözləri görsün, Külli-İxtiyarın qəzəbini su kimi içsin.
  1. But their prosperity is not in their own hands, so I stand aloof from the counsel of the wicked.
  2. "Yet how often is the lamp of the wicked snuffed out? How often does calamity come upon them, the fate God allots in his anger?
  3. How often are they like straw before the wind, like chaff swept away by a gale?
  4. It is said, 'God stores up a man's punishment for his sons.' Let him repay the man himself, so that he will know it!
  5. Let his own eyes see his destruction; let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.
 
 
  1. Çünki ili, ayı qurtaranda, Arxada qalan külfətindən nə zövq ala bilər?
  2. Yüksək mənsəb sahiblərinə hökm edən Allaha Kim bilik verə bilər?
  3. Biri tamam güclü, Tamam rahat və qayğısız,
  4. Bədəni ətli-canlı, Sümükləri ilikli ölür.
  5. O biri isə dərd içində, Həyatdan kam almamış ölür.
  1. For what does he care about the family he leaves behind when his allotted months come to an end?
  2. "Can anyone teach knowledge to God, since he judges even the highest?
  3. One man dies in full vigor, completely secure and at ease,
  4. his body well nourished, his bones rich with marrow.
  5. Another man dies in bitterness of soul, never having enjoyed anything good.
 
 
  1. İkisi də torpaqda yatır, İkisinin də bədənini qurd basır.
  2. Bilirəm nə fikirdəsiniz, Qəsdiniz mənə qarşı olmaqdır.
  3. Deyirsiniz: “Əsilzadələrin evi haradadır? Pislərin yaşadığı çadır haradadır?”
  4. Yoldan keçənlərdən soruşmadınızmı? Söhbətlərinə qulaq asmadınızmı?
  5. Pis insan fəlakət günündə sağ qalır, Qəzəb günü yol göstərilərək qurtulur.
  1. Side by side they lie in the dust, and worms cover them both.
  2. "I know full well what you are thinking, the schemes by which you would wrong me.
  3. You say, 'Where now is the great man's house, the tents where wicked men lived?'
  4. Have you never questioned those who travel? Have you paid no regard to their accounts-
  5. that the evil man is spared from the day of calamity, that he is delivered from the day of wrath?
 
 
  1. Kim davranışını onun üzünə vurur? Kim etdiklərinə görə onu cəzalandırır?
  2. Qəbiristana aparılarkən Məzarı üstə qarovul çəkilir.
  3. Vadinin torpağı ona şirin gəlir, Hamı onun ardınca düşür. Qarşısında gedənlərsə saysızdır.
  4. Məni necə boş sözlərlə ovuda bilərsiniz? Cavablarınız axıradək yalandır».
  1. Who denounces his conduct to his face? Who repays him for what he has done?
  2. He is carried to the grave, and watch is kept over his tomb.
  3. The soil in the valley is sweet to him; all men follow after him, and a countless throng goes before him.
  4. "So how can you console me with your nonsense? Nothing is left of your answers but falsehood!"
