  1. Then Eliphaz the Temanite replied:
  2. "Can a man be of benefit to God? Can even a wise man benefit him?
  3. What pleasure would it give the Almighty if you were righteous? What would he gain if your ways were blameless?
  4. "Is it for your piety that he rebukes you and brings charges against you?
  5. Is not your wickedness great? Are not your sins endless?
  1. Temanlı Elifaz belə cavab verdi:
  2. «İnsan Allaha fayda verə bilərmi? Müdrik adam Ona fayda verərmi?
  3. Sənin salehliyindən Külli-İxtiyar nə ləzzət alır? Sənin düz həyat tərzinin Ona nə faydası var?
  4. Səni tənbeh etməsi, mübarizə aparması Ondan qorxduğun üçündürmü?
  5. Pisliyin böyük deyilmi, Təqsirin hədsiz deyilmi?
 
 
  1. You demanded security from your brothers for no reason; you stripped men of their clothing, leaving them naked.
  2. You gave no water to the weary and you withheld food from the hungry,
  3. though you were a powerful man, owning land-- an honored man, living on it.
  4. And you sent widows away empty-handed and broke the strength of the fatherless.
  5. That is why snares are all around you, why sudden peril terrifies you,
  1. Çünki qardaşlarından səbəbsiz girov aldın, Onları lüt qoydun.
  2. Yorğuna bir içim su vermədin, Ac olandan çörəyini əsirgədin.
  3. Qol gücünlə ölkəyə sahib oldun, Hörmətli insan kimi orada yaşadın.

  1. why it is so dark you cannot see, and why a flood of water covers you.
  2. "Is not God in the heights of heaven? And see how lofty are the highest stars!
  3. Yet you say, 'What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness?
  4. Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.'
  5. Will you keep to the old path that evil men have trod?
  1. Hər şeyə qara vurub görmürsən, Sellərdə boğulursan.
  2. Allah göylərdə – ucalarda deyilmi? Ən uzaq ulduzlara bir nəzər sal, Gör nə qədər ucalarda yerləşib!
  3. Amma deyirsən “Allah nə bilir? Qatı qaranlıq içindən hökm verə bilərmi?
  4. Görə bilmir, qara buludlar Ona mane olur, Göy qübbəsinin üzərində dolaşır”.
  5. Pis adamların gəzdiyi Köhnə yolumu tutacaqsan?
 
 
  1. They were carried off before their time, their foundations washed away by a flood.
  2. They said to God, 'Leave us alone! What can the Almighty do to us?'
  3. Yet it was he who filled their houses with good things, so I stand aloof from the counsel of the wicked.
  4. "The righteous see their ruin and rejoice; the innocent mock them, saying,
  5. 'Surely our foes are destroyed, and fire devours their wealth.'
  1. Onlar vaxtı çatmamış çəkilib getdilər, Təməllərini sellər basdı.
  2. Allaha dedilər: “Bizdən uzaq ol! Bizə Külli-İxtiyar nə edə bilər?”
  3. Amma evlərini bərəkətlə dolduran Allah idi, Ona görə pislərin nəsihəti qoy məndən uzaq olsun.
  4. Salehlər pislərin həlak olduğunu görüb sevinir, Günahsızlar onlara belə istehza edir:
  5. “Düşmənlərimiz yox oldu, Onlardan nə qaldısa, yanıb kül oldu”.
 
 
  1. "Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.
  2. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart.
  3. If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent
  4. and assign your nuggets to the dust, your gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines,
  5. then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you.
  1. Allahla barışıb dost olsan, Xeyir taparsan.
  2. Onun ağzından çıxan təlimi qəbul et, Onun sözlərini qəlbində saxla.
  3. Külli-İxtiyara tərəf dönsən, Əvvəlki halına düşərsən. Çadırın şərdən uzaq olsa,
  4. Qızılını torpağa, Ofir qızılını dərədəki çınqıllığa atsan,
  5. Külli-İxtiyar sənin qızılın olar, Qiymətli gümüşün olar.
 
 
  1. Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God.
  2. You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.
  3. What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.
  4. When men are brought low and you say, 'Lift them up!' then he will save the downcast.
  5. He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands."
  1. Onda Külli-İxtiyardan zövq alarsan, Allaha üz tutarsan.
  2. Ona yalvarsan, səni eşidər, Etdiyin nəzirləri yerinə yetirərsən.
  3. O da dediyin sözü yerinə yetirər, Yollarına nur səpilər.
  4. İnsanlar səni alçaldanda “Baş ucalığına görədir” deyərsən, Çünki Allah itaətkarları xilas edər.
  5. O, günahsız olmayanı belə qurtarar, Sənin əllərinin təmizliyinə görə günahkar xilas olar».
