  1. Əyyub misal çəkərək dedi:
  2. «Haqqımı əlimdən alan var olan Allaha and olsun, Canımı dərdə salan Külli-İxtiyara and olsun,
  3. Nə qədər canımda can, Burnumda Allahın nəfəsi varsa,
  4. Ağzımdan pis söz çıxmayacaq, Dilim yalan danışmayacaq!
  5. Sizin sözlərinizi əsla təsdiq etməyəcəyəm, Son nəfəsimə qədər kamilliyimdən əl çəkməyəcəyəm.
  1. Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
  2. As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
  3. All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
  4. My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
  5. God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
 
 
  1. Salehliyimdən bərk yapışmışam, Onu buraxmaram, Elə gün keçirməmişəm ki, ürəyim tərəfindən ittiham olunum.
  2. Qoy düşmən pis adamların gününə düşsün, Haqsız adamlara nə edilirsə, əleyhdarlarıma da elə edilsin.
  3. Allahsız insanı Allah kəsib atanda, Canını alanda ümidi olarmı?
  4. Dara düşəndə fəryadını Allah eşidəcəkmi?
  5. O, Külli-İxtiyardan zövq alırmı? O hər zaman Allaha yalvarırmı?
  1. My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
  2. Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
  3. For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
  4. Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
  5. Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
 
 
  1. Allahın qolu haqqında sizə bilik verəcəyəm, Külli-İxtiyarın niyyətini sizdən gizlətməyəcəyəm.
  2. Əslində hamınız bunu görmüsünüz, Bəs niyə boş sözlər söyləyirsiniz?
  3. Pis adam Allahdan belə pay alar, Külli-İxtiyardan zorakı adamlara bu nəsib olar:
  4. Nə olsun, övladları çoxalır, Hamısı qılıncdan keçiriləcək, Nəslində doyunca çörək tapan olmayacaq.
  5. Nəslindən sağ qalanlar xəstəlikdən ölərək dəfn ediləcək, Dul arvadları ağlaya bilməyəcək.
  1. I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
  2. Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?
  3. This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.
  4. If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
  5. Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.
 
 
  1. Pis insan qum qədər gümüş yığsa da, Torpaq zərrələri qədər paltar yığsa da,
  2. Onun yığdığını saleh geyəcək, Gümüşünü günahsızlar böləcək.
  3. Güvə çanağı kimi, Qarovulçu çardağı kimi ev tikir,
  4. Varlı olaraq yatır, amma sona qədər belə qalmaz, Gözlərini açanda hamısı yox olub gedəcək.
  5. Dəhşət onu sel tək basacaq, Tufan gecə onu qapıb aparacaq.
  1. Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
  2. He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
  3. He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.
  4. The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
  5. Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
 
 
  1. Şərq küləyi onu qaldırıb sovuracaq, Onu öz yerindən süpürüb aparacaq.
  2. Ona qarşı amansız küləklər əsəcək, O isə yelin əlindən qaçmağa cəhd edəcək.
  3. Külək onu ələ salaraq əl çalacaq, Öz yerindən onun üçün vıyıldayacaq.
  1. The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
  2. For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
  3. Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
