  1. I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."
  2. Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.
  3. Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together.
  4. That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to praise the name of the LORD according to the statute given to Israel.
  5. There the thrones for judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David.
  1. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
  2. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
  3. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
  4. Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
  5. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
 
 
  1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure.
  2. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels."
  3. For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, "Peace be within you."
  4. For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.
  1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
  2. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
  3. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
  4. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
