  1. 當時、耶穌被聖靈引到曠野、受魔鬼的試探。
  2. 他禁食四十晝夜、後來就餓了。
  3. 那試探人的進前來、對他說、你若是　神的兒子、可以吩咐這些石頭變成食物。
  4. 耶穌卻回答說、經上記著說、『人活著、不是單靠食物、乃是靠　神口裡所出的一切話。』
  5. 魔鬼就帶他進了聖城、叫他站在殿頂上、〔頂原文作翅〕
  1. Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
  2. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
  3. The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
  4. Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
  5. Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
 
 
  1. 對他說、你若是　神的兒子、可以跳下去．因為經上記著說、『主要為你吩咐他的使者、用手托著你、免得你的腳碰在石頭上。』
  2. 耶穌對他說、經上又記著說、『不可試探主你的　神。』
  3. 魔鬼又帶他上了一座最高的山、將世上的萬國、與萬國的榮華、都指給他看、
  4. 對他說、你若俯伏拜我、我就把這一切賜給你。
  5. 耶穌說、撒但退去罷。〔撒但就是抵擋的意思乃魔鬼的別名〕因為經上記著說、『當拜主你的　神、單要事奉他。』
  1. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'"
  2. Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
  3. Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
  4. "All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."
  5. Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'"
 
 
  1. 於是魔鬼離了耶穌、有天使來伺候他。
  2. 耶穌聽見約翰下了監、就退到加利利去．
  3. 後又離開拿撒勒、往迦百農去、就住在那裡．那地去方靠海、在西布倫和拿弗他利的邊界上。
  4. 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話、
  5. 說、『西布倫地、拿弗他利地、就是沿海的路、約但河外、外邦人的加利利地。
  1. Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
  2. When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee.
  3. Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali--
  4. to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
  5. "Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, along the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles--
 
 
  1. 那坐在黑暗裡的百姓、看見了大光、坐在死蔭之地的人、有光發現照著他們。』
  2. 從那時候耶穌就傳起道來、說、天國近了、你們應當悔改。
  3. 耶穌在加利利海邊行走、看見弟兄二人、就是那稱呼彼得的西門、和他兄弟安得烈、在海裡撒網．他們本是打魚的。
  4. 耶穌對他們說、來跟從我、我要叫你們得人如得魚一樣。
  5. 他們就立刻捨了網、跟從了他。
  1. the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."
  2. From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
  3. As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
  4. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
  5. At once they left their nets and followed him.
 
 
  1. 從那裡往前走、又看見弟兄二人、就是西庇太的兒子雅各、和他兄弟約翰、同他們的父親西庇太在船上補網．耶穌就招呼他們。
  2. 他們立刻捨了船、別了父親、跟從了耶穌。
  3. 耶穌走遍加利利、在各會堂裡教訓人、傳天國的福音、醫治百姓各樣的病症。
  4. 他的名聲就傳遍了敘利亞．那裡的人把一切害病的、就是害各樣疾病、各樣疼痛的、和被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的、都帶了來、耶穌就治好了他們。
  5. 當下、有許多人從加利利、低加波利、耶路撒冷、猶太、約但河外、來跟著他。
  1. Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,
  2. and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
  3. Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
  4. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them.
  5. Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.
