Deuteronomy 9 [NASB:繁體]   
 
  1. "Hear, O Israel! You are crossing over the Jordan today to go in to dispossess nations greater and mightier than you, great cities fortified to heaven,
  2. a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, 'Who can stand before the sons of Anak?'
  3. "Know therefore today that it is the LORD your God who is crossing over before you as a consuming fire He will destroy them and He will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and destroy them quickly, just as the LORD has spoken to you.
  4. "Do not say in your heart when the LORD your God has driven them out before you, 'Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land,' but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is dispossessing them before you.
  5. "It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD your God is driving them out before you, in order to confirm the oath which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
  1. 以色列阿、你當聽．你今日要過約但河、進去趕出比你強大的國民、得著廣大堅固、高得頂天的城邑。
  2. 那民是亞衲族的人、又大又高、是你所知道的、也曾聽見有人指著他們說、誰能在亞衲族人面前站立得住呢。
  3. 你今日當知道、耶和華你的　神在你前面過去、如同烈火、要滅絕他們、將他們制伏在你面前、這樣你就要照耶和華所說的趕出他們、使他們速速滅亡。
  4. 耶和華你的　神將這些國民從你面前攆出以後、你心裡不可說、耶和華將我領進來得這地是因我的義．其實耶和華將他們從你面前趕出去、是因他們的惡。
  5. 你進去得他們的地、並不是因你的義、也不是因你心裡正直、乃是因這些國民的惡、耶和華你的　神將他們從你面前趕出去、又因耶和華要堅定他向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、起誓所應許的話。
 
 
  1. "Know, then, it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stubborn people.
  2. "Remember, do not forget how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness; from the day that you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD.
  3. "Even at Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was so angry with you that He would have destroyed you.
  4. "When I went up to the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which the LORD had made with you, then I remained on the mountain forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water.
  5. "The LORD gave me the two tablets of stone written by the finger of God; and on them were all the words which the LORD had spoken with you at the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly.
  1. 你當知道、耶和華你　神將這美地賜你為業、並不是因你的義、你本是硬著頸項的百姓。
  2. 你當記念不忘、你在曠野怎樣惹耶和華你　神發怒．自從你出了埃及地的那日、直到你們來到這地方、你們時常悖逆耶和華。
  3. 你們在何烈山又惹耶和華發怒、他惱怒你們、要滅絕你們。
  4. 我上了山、要領受兩塊石版、就是耶和華與你們立約的版．那時我在山上住了四十晝夜、沒有喫飯、也沒有喝水。
  5. 耶和華把那兩塊石版交給我、是　神用指頭寫的、版上所寫的、是照耶和華在大會的日子、在山上、從火中對你們所說的一切話。
 
 
  1. "It came about at the end of forty days and nights that the LORD gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.
  2. "Then the LORD said to me, 'Arise, go down from here quickly, for your people whom you brought out of Egypt have acted corruptly They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made a molten image for themselves.'
  3. "The LORD spoke further to me, saying, 'I have seen this people, and indeed, it is a stubborn people.
  4. 'Let Me alone, that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven; and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.'
  5. "So I turned and came down from the mountain while the mountain was burning with fire, and the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.
  1. 過了四十晝夜、耶和華把那兩塊石版、就是約版、交給我．
  2. 對我說、你起來、趕快下去、因為你從埃及領出來的百姓、已經敗壞了自己、他們快快的偏離了我所吩咐的道、為自己鑄成了偶像。
  3. 耶和華又對我說、我看這百姓是硬著頸項的百姓。
  4. 你且由著我、我要滅絕他們、將他們的名從天下塗抹、使你的後裔比他們成為更大更強的國。
  5. 於是我轉身下山、山被火燒冲．兩塊約版在我兩手之中。
 
 
  1. "And I saw that you had indeed sinned against the LORD your God. You had made for yourselves a molten calf; you had turned aside quickly from the way which the LORD had commanded you.
  2. "I took hold of the two tablets and threw them from my hands and smashed them before your eyes.
  3. "I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you had committed in doing what was evil in the sight of the LORD to provoke Him to anger.
  4. "For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which the LORD was wrathful against you in order to destroy you, but the LORD listened to me that time also.
  5. "The LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him; so I also prayed for Aaron at the same time.
  1. 我一看見你們得罪了耶和華你們的　神、鑄成了牛犢、快快的偏離了耶和華所吩咐你們的道、
  2. 我就把那兩塊版從我手中扔下去、在你們眼前摔碎了。
  3. 因你們所犯的一切罪、行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事、惹他發怒、我就像從前俯伏在耶和華面前四十晝夜、沒有喫飯、也沒有喝水。
  4. 我因耶和華向你們大發烈怒、要滅絕你們、就甚害怕、但那次耶和華又應允了我。
  5. 耶和華也向亞倫甚是發怒、要滅絕他、那時我又為亞倫祈禱。
 
 
  1. "I took your sinful thing, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it, grinding it very small until it was as fine as dust; and I threw its dust into the brook that came down from the mountain.
  2. "Again at Taberah and at Massah and at Kibroth-hattaavah you provoked the LORD to wrath.
  3. "When the LORD sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, 'Go up and possess the land which I have given you,' then you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God; you neither believed Him nor listened to His voice.
  4. "You have been rebellious against the LORD from the day I knew you.
  5. "So I fell down before the LORD the forty days and nights, which I did because the LORD had said He would destroy you.
  1. 我把那叫你們犯罪所鑄的牛犢、用火焚燒、又搗碎磨得很細、以至細如灰塵．我就把這灰塵撒在從山上流下來的溪水中。
  2. 你們在他備拉、瑪撒、基博羅哈他瓦、又惹耶和華發怒。
  3. 耶和華打發你們離開加低斯巴尼亞說、你們上去、得我所賜給你們的地、那時你們違背了耶和華你們　神的命令、不信服他、不聽從他的話。
  4. 自從我認識你們以來、你們常常悖逆耶和華。
  5. 我因耶和華說要滅絕你們、就在耶和華面前照舊俯伏四十晝夜。
 
 
  1. "I prayed to the LORD and said, 'O Lord GOD, do not destroy Your people, even Your inheritance, whom You have redeemed through Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
  2. 'Remember Your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; do not look at the stubbornness of this people or at their wickedness or their sin.
  3. 'Otherwise the land from which You brought us may say, "Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which He had promised them and because He hated them He has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness."
  4. 'Yet they are Your people, even Your inheritance, whom You have brought out by Your great power and Your outstretched arm.'
  1. 我祈禱耶和華說、主耶和華阿、求你不要滅絕你的百姓、他們是你的產業、是你用大力救贖的、用大能從埃及領出來的。
  2. 求你記念你的僕人亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、不要想念這百姓的頑梗、邪惡、罪過．
  3. 免得你領我們出來的那地之人說、耶和華因為不能將這百姓領進他所應許之地、又因恨他們、所以領他們出去、要在曠野殺他們。
  4. 其實他們是你的百姓、你的產業、是你用大能、和伸出來的膀臂領出來的。
