  1. 大衛招聚以色列各支派的首領、和輪班服事王的軍長、與千夫長、百夫長、掌管王和王子產業牲畜的、並太監、以及大能的勇士、都到耶路撒冷來。
  2. 大衛王就站起來、說、我的弟兄、我的百姓阿、你們當聽我言、我心裡本想建造殿宇、安放耶和華的約櫃、作為我　神的腳凳．我已經豫備建造的材料。
  3. 只是　神對我說、你不可為我的名建造殿宇、因你是戰士、流了人的血。
  4. 然而耶和華以色列的　神、在我父的全家揀選我作以色列的王、直到永遠．因他揀選猶大為首領、在猶大支派中揀選我父家、在我父的眾子裡喜悅我、立我作以色列眾人的王。
  5. 耶和華賜我許多兒子．在我兒子中、揀選所羅門坐耶和華的國位、治理以色列人。
  1. And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.
  2. Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:
  3. But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.
  4. Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:
  5. And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
 
 
  1. 耶和華對我說、你兒子所羅門必建造我的殿和院宇．因為我揀選他作我的子、我也必作他的父。
  2. 他若恆久遵行我的誡命典章、如今日一樣、我就必堅定他的國位、直到永遠。
  3. 現今在耶和華的會中、以色列眾人眼前所說的、我們的　神也聽見了．你們應當尋求耶和華你們　神的一切誡命、謹守遵行．如此你們可以承受這美地、遺留給你們的子孫、永遠為業。
  4. 我兒所羅門哪、你當認識耶和華你父的　神、誠心樂意地事奉他．因為他鑒察眾人的心、知道一切心思意念．你若尋求他、他必使你尋見．你若離棄他、他必永遠丟棄你。
  5. 你當謹慎、因耶和華揀選你建造殿宇、作為聖所．你當剛強去行。
  1. And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
  2. Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.
  3. Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.
  4. And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
  5. Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
 
 
  1. 大衛將殿的遊廊、旁屋、府庫、樓房、內殿、和施恩所的樣式、指示他兒子所羅門．
  2. 又將被靈感動所得的樣式、就是耶和華　神殿的院子、周圍的房屋、殿的府庫、和聖物府庫的一切樣式都指示他．
  3. 又指示他祭司和利未人的班次、與耶和華殿裡各樣的工作、並耶和華殿裡一切器皿的樣式、
  4. 以及各樣應用金器的分兩、和各樣應用銀器的分兩．
  5. 金燈臺和金燈的分兩、銀燈臺和銀燈的分兩、輕重各都合宜．
  1. Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
  2. And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:
  3. Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.
  4. He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:
  5. Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.
 
 
  1. 陳設餅金桌子的分兩、銀桌子的分兩、
  2. 精金的肉叉子、盤子、和爵的分兩、各金碗與各銀碗的分兩、
  3. 精金香壇的分兩、並用金子作萖𤦤𠒇．〔原文作用金子作車式的萖𤦤𠒇〕萖𤦤𠒇張開翅膀、遮掩耶和華的約櫃。
  4. 大衛說、這一切工作的樣式、都是耶和華用手劃出來、使我明白的。
  5. 大衛又對他兒子所羅門說、你當剛強壯膽去行．不要懼怕、也不要驚惶．因為耶和華　神就是我的　神、與你同在、他必不撇下你、也不丟棄你、直到耶和華殿的工作都完畢了。
  1. And by weight he gave gold for the tables of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of silver:
  2. Also pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basons he gave gold by weight for every bason; and likewise silver by weight for every bason of silver:
  3. And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
  4. All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.
  5. And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
 
 
  1. 有祭司和利未人的各班、為要辦理　神殿各樣的事．又有靈巧的人、在各樣的工作上、樂意幫助你．並有眾首領和眾民、一心聽從你的命令。
  1. And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.
