耶利米書 4 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 耶和華說、以色列阿、你若回來歸向我、若從我眼前除掉你可憎的偶像、你就不被遷移．
  2. 你必憑誠實、公平、公義、指著永生的耶和華起誓．列國必因耶和華稱自己為有福、也必因他誇耀。
  3. 耶和華對猶大和耶路撒冷人如此說、要開墾你們的荒地、不要撒種在荊棘中。
  4. 猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪、你們當自行割禮、歸耶和華、將心裡的污穢除掉．恐怕我的忿怒、因你們的惡行發作、如火冲起、甚至無人能以熄滅。
  5. 你們當傳揚在猶大、宣告在耶路撒冷、說、你們當在國中吹角、高聲呼叫說、你們當聚集、我們好進入堅固城。
  1. "If you will return, O Israel, return to me," declares the LORD. "If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray,
  2. and if in a truthful, just and righteous way you swear, 'As surely as the LORD lives,' then the nations will be blessed by him and in him they will glory."
  3. This is what the LORD says to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem: "Break up your unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns.
  4. Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, circumcise your hearts, you men of Judah and people of Jerusalem, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done-- burn with no one to quench it.
  5. "Announce in Judah and proclaim in Jerusalem and say: 'Sound the trumpet throughout the land!' Cry aloud and say: 'Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities!'
 
 
  1. 應當向錫安豎立大旗．要逃避、不要遲延．因我必使災禍、與大毀滅、從北方來到。
  2. 有獅子從密林中上來、是毀壞列國的．他已經動身、出離本處、要使你的地荒涼、使你的城邑變為荒場、無人居住。
  3. 因此你們當腰束麻布、大聲哀號．因為耶和華的烈怒、沒有向我們轉消。
  4. 耶和華說、到那時君王和首領的心、都要消滅．祭司都要驚奇、先知都要詫異。
  5. 我說、哀哉、主耶和華阿、你真是大大的欺哄這百姓和耶路撒冷、說、你們必得平安．其實刀劍害及性命了。
  1. Raise the signal to go to Zion! Flee for safety without delay! For I am bringing disaster from the north, even terrible destruction."
  2. A lion has come out of his lair; a destroyer of nations has set out. He has left his place to lay waste your land. Your towns will lie in ruins without inhabitant.
  3. So put on sackcloth, lament and wail, for the fierce anger of the LORD has not turned away from us.
  4. "In that day," declares the LORD, "the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled."
  5. Then I said, "Ah, Sovereign LORD, how completely you have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, 'You will have peace,' when the sword is at our throats."
 
 
  1. 那時、必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說、有一陣熱風、從曠野淨光的高處、向我的眾民〔原文作民女〕颳來、不是為簸揚、也不是為揚淨．
  2. 必有一陣更大的風、從這些地方為我颳來．現在我又必發出判語、攻擊他們。
  3. 看哪、仇敵必如雲上來、他的戰車如旋風、他的馬匹比鷹更快。我們有禍了．我們敗落了。
  4. 耶路撒冷阿、你當洗去心中的惡、使你可以得救．惡念存在你心裡、要到幾時呢。
  5. 有聲音從但傳揚、從以法蓮山報禍患．
  1. At that time this people and Jerusalem will be told, "A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people, but not to winnow or cleanse;
  2. a wind too strong for that comes from me. Now I pronounce my judgments against them."
  3. Look! He advances like the clouds, his chariots come like a whirlwind, his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us! We are ruined!
  4. O Jerusalem, wash the evil from your heart and be saved. How long will you harbor wicked thoughts?
  5. A voice is announcing from Dan, proclaiming disaster from the hills of Ephraim.
 
 
  1. 你們當傳給列國、報告攻擊耶路撒冷的事、說、有探望的人、從遠方來到、向猶大的城邑、大聲吶喊。
  2. 他們周圍攻擊耶路撒冷、好像看守田園的、因為他背叛了我．這是耶和華說的。
  3. 你的行動、你的作為、招惹這事．這是你罪惡的結果．實在是苦、是害及你心了。
  4. 我的肺腑阿、我的肺腑阿、我心疼痛．我心在我裡面、煩躁不安．我不能靜默不言．因為我已經聽見角聲、和打仗的喊聲。
  5. 毀壞的信息連絡不絕．因為全地荒廢．我的帳棚、忽然毀壞、我的幔子、頃刻破裂。
  1. "Tell this to the nations, proclaim it to Jerusalem: 'A besieging army is coming from a distant land, raising a war cry against the cities of Judah.
  2. They surround her like men guarding a field, because she has rebelled against me,' " declares the LORD.
  3. "Your own conduct and actions have brought this upon you. This is your punishment. How bitter it is! How it pierces to the heart!"
  4. Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me, I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the battle cry.
  5. Disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies in ruins. In an instant my tents are destroyed, my shelter in a moment.
 
 
  1. 我看見大旗、聽見角聲、要到幾時呢。
  2. 耶和華說、我的百性愚頑、不認識我．他們是愚昧無知的兒女．有智慧行惡、沒有知識行善。
  3. 先知說、我觀看地、不料、地是空虛混沌、我觀看天、天也無光。
  4. 我觀看大山、不料、盡都震動、小山也都搖來搖去。
  5. 我觀看、不料、無人、空中的飛鳥也都躲避。
  1. How long must I see the battle standard and hear the sound of the trumpet?
  2. "My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good."
  3. I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone.
  4. I looked at the mountains, and they were quaking; all the hills were swaying.
  5. I looked, and there were no people; every bird in the sky had flown away.
 
 
  1. 我觀看、不料、肥田變為荒地、一切城邑在耶和華面前、因他的烈怒、都被拆毀。
  2. 耶和華如此說、全地必然荒涼、我卻不毀滅淨盡。
  3. 因此、地要悲哀、在上的天、也必黑暗．因為我言已出、我意已定、必不後悔、也不轉意不作。
  4. 各城的人、因馬兵和弓箭手的響聲、就都逃跑、進入密林、爬上磐石．各城被撇下、無人住在其中。
  5. 你淒涼的時候要怎樣行呢．你雖穿上朱紅衣服、佩戴黃金裝飾、用顏料修飾眼目、這樣標緻、是枉然的．戀愛你的藐視你、並且尋索你的性命。
  1. I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the LORD, before his fierce anger.
  2. This is what the LORD says: "The whole land will be ruined, though I will not destroy it completely.
  3. Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back."
  4. At the sound of horsemen and archers every town takes to flight. Some go into the thickets; some climb up among the rocks. All the towns are deserted; no one lives in them.
  5. What are you doing, O devastated one? Why dress yourself in scarlet and put on jewels of gold? Why shade your eyes with paint? You adorn yourself in vain. Your lovers despise you; they seek your life.
 
 
  1. 我聽見有聲音、彷彿婦人產難的聲音、好像生頭胎疼痛的聲音、是錫安女子的聲音．〔女子就是指民的意思〕他喘著氣、挓莎手、說、我有禍了．在殺人的跟前、我的心發昏了。
  1. I hear a cry as of a woman in labor, a groan as of one bearing her first child-- the cry of the Daughter of Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands and saying, "Alas! I am fainting; my life is given over to murderers."
