  1. 又說、當瑪代王大利烏元年、我曾起來扶助米迦勒、使他堅強。
  2. 現在我將真事指示你、波斯還有三王興起、第四王必富足遠勝諸王、他因富足成為強盛、就必激動大眾攻擊希臘國。
  3. 必有一個勇敢的王興起、執掌大權、隨意而行。
  4. 他興起的時候、他的國必破裂、向天的四方〔方原文作風〕分開、卻不歸他的後裔、治國的權勢也都不及他、因為他的國必被拔出、歸與他後裔之外的人。
  5. 南方的王必強盛、他將帥中必有一個比他更強盛、執掌權柄、他的權柄甚大。
  1. "In the first year of Darius the Mede, I arose to be an encouragement and a protection for him.
  2. "And now I will tell you the truth Behold, three more kings are going to arise in Persia Then a fourth will gain far more riches than all of them; as soon as he becomes strong through his riches, he will arouse the whole empire against the realm of Greece.
  3. "And a mighty king will arise, and he will rule with great authority and do as he pleases.
  4. "But as soon as he has arisen, his kingdom will be broken up and parceled out toward the four points of the compass, though not to his own descendants, nor according to his authority which he wielded, for his sovereignty will be uprooted and given to others besides them.
  5. "Then the king of the South will grow strong, along with one of his princes who will gain ascendancy over him and obtain dominion; his domain will be a great dominion indeed.
 
 
  1. 過些年後、他們必互相連合．南方王的女兒、必就了北方王來立約、但這女子幫助之力、存立不住、王和他所倚靠之力、也不能存立．這女子和引導他來的、並生他的、以及當時扶助他的、都必交與死地。
  2. 但這女子的本家、〔本家原文作根〕必另生一子〔子原文作枝〕繼續王位、他必率領軍隊進入北方王的保障、攻擊他們、而且得勝．
  3. 並將他們的神像、和鑄成的偶像、與金銀的寶器掠到埃及去．數年之內、他不去攻擊北方的王。
  4. 北方的王〔原文作他〕必入南方王的國、卻要仍回本地。
  5. 北方王〔原文作他〕的二子必動干戈、招聚許多軍兵、這軍兵前去、如洪水氾濫、又必再去爭戰直到南方王的保障。
  1. "After some years they will form an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the South will come to the king of the North to carry out a peaceful arrangement. But she will not retain her position of power, nor will he remain with his power, but she will be given up, along with those who brought her in and the one who sired her as well as he who supported her in those times.
  2. "But one of the descendants of her line will arise in his place, and he will come against their army and enter the fortress of the king of the North, and he will deal with them and display great strength.
  3. "Also their gods with their metal images and their precious vessels of silver and gold he will take into captivity to Egypt, and he on his part will refrain from attacking the king of the North for some years.
  4. "Then the latter will enter the realm of the king of the South, but will return to his own land.
  5. "His sons will mobilize and assemble a multitude of great forces; and one of them will keep on coming and overflow and pass through, that he may again wage war up to his very fortress.
 
 
  1. 南方王必發烈怒、出來與北方王爭戰、擺列大軍、北方王的軍兵必交付他手。
  2. 他的眾軍高傲、他的心也必自高、他雖使數萬人仆倒、卻不得常勝。
  3. 北方王必回來擺列大軍、比先前的更多、滿了所定的年數、他必率領大軍、帶極多的軍裝來。
  4. 那時必有許多人起來攻擊南方王、並且你本國的強暴人必興起、要應驗那異象、他們卻要敗亡。
  5. 北方王必來築壘攻取堅固城．南方的軍兵必站立不住、就是選擇的精兵〔精兵原文作民〕也無力站住。
  1. "The king of the South will be enraged and go forth and fight with the king of the North. Then the latter will raise a great multitude, but that multitude will be given into the hand of the former.
  2. "When the multitude is carried away, his heart will be lifted up, and he will cause tens of thousands to fall; yet he will not prevail.
  3. "For the king of the North will again raise a greater multitude than the former, and after an interval of some years he will press on with a great army and much equipment.
  4. "Now in those times many will rise up against the king of the South; the violent ones among your people will also lift themselves up in order to fulfill the vision, but they will fall down.
  5. "Then the king of the North will come, cast up a siege ramp and capture a well-fortified city; and the forces of the South will not stand their ground, not even their choicest troops, for there will be no strength to make a stand.
 
 
  1. 來攻擊他的、必任意而行、無人在北方王〔原文作他〕面前站立得住．他必站在那榮美之地、用手施行毀滅。
  2. 他必定意用全國之力而來、立公正的約、照約而行、將自己的女兒給南方王為妻、想要敗壞他、〔或作埃及〕這計卻不得成就、與自己亳無益處。
  3. 其後他必轉回奪取了許多海島．但有一大帥、除掉他令人受的羞辱、並且使這羞辱歸他本身。
  4. 他就必轉向本地的保障、卻要絆跌仆倒、歸於無有。
  5. 那時必有一人興起接續他為王、使橫征暴斂的人、通行國中的榮美地、這王不多日就必滅亡、卻不因忿怒、也不因爭戰。
  1. "But he who comes against him will do as he pleases, and no one will be able to withstand him; he will also stay for a time in the Beautiful Land, with destruction in his hand.
  2. "He will set his face to come with the power of his whole kingdom, bringing with him a proposal of peace which he will put into effect; he will also give him the daughter of women to ruin it. But she will not take a stand for him or be on his side.
  3. "Then he will turn his face to the coastlands and capture many But a commander will put a stop to his scorn against him; moreover, he will repay him for his scorn.
  4. "So he will turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land, but he will stumble and fall and be found no more.
  5. "Then in his place one will arise who will send an oppressor through the Jewel of his kingdom; yet within a few days he will be shattered, though not in anger nor in battle.
 
 
  1. 必有一個卑鄙的人興起接續為王、人未曾將國的尊榮給他、他卻趁人坦然無備的時候、用諂媚的話得國。
  2. 必有無數的軍兵勢如洪水、在他面前沖沒敗壞．同盟的君也必如此。
  3. 與那君結盟之後、他必行詭詐、因為他必上來以微小的軍〔原文作民〕成為強盛。
  4. 趁人坦然無備的時候、他必來到國中極肥美之地、行他列袓和他列袓之袓所未曾行的、將擄物、掠物、和財寶、散給眾人．又要設計攻打保障、然而這都是暫時的。
  5. 他必奮勇向前、率領大軍攻擊南方王、南方王也必以極大極強的軍兵與他爭戰、卻站立不住、因為有人設計謀害南方王。
  1. "In his place a despicable person will arise, on whom the honor of kingship has not been conferred, but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.
  2. "The overflowing forces will be flooded away before him and shattered, and also the prince of the covenant.
  3. "After an alliance is made with him he will practice deception, and he will go up and gain power with a small force of people.
  4. "In a time of tranquility he will enter the richest parts of the realm, and he will accomplish what his fathers never did, nor his ancestors; he will distribute plunder, booty and possessions among them, and he will devise his schemes against strongholds, but only for a time.
  5. "He will stir up his strength and courage against the king of the South with a large army; so the king of the South will mobilize an extremely large and mighty army for war; but he will not stand, for schemes will be devised against him.
 
 
  1. 喫王膳的、必敗壞他、他的軍隊、必被沖沒、而且被殺的甚多。
  2. 至於這二王、他們心懷惡計、同席說謊、計謀卻不成就、因為到了定期、事就了結。
  3. 北方王〔原文作他〕必帶許多財寶回往本國、他的心反對聖約、任意而行、回到本地。
  4. 到了定期、他必返回、來到南方、後一次、卻不如前一次、
  5. 因為基提戰船、必來攻擊他、他就喪膽而回、又要惱恨聖約、任意而行．他必回來聯絡背棄聖約的人。
  1. "Those who eat his choice food will destroy him, and his army will overflow, but many will fall down slain.
  2. "As for both kings, their hearts will be intent on evil, and they will speak lies to each other at the same table; but it will not succeed, for the end is still to come at the appointed time.
  3. "Then he will return to his land with much plunder; but his heart will be set against the holy covenant, and he will take action and then return to his own land.
  4. "At the appointed time he will return and come into the South, but this last time it will not turn out the way it did before.
  5. "For ships of Kittim will come against him; therefore he will be disheartened and will return and become enraged at the holy covenant and take action; so he will come back and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant.
 
 
  1. 他必興兵、這兵必褻瀆聖地、就是保障、除掉常獻的燔祭、設立那行毀壞可憎的。
  2. 作惡違背聖約的人、他必用巧言勾引．惟獨認識　神的子民、必剛強行事。
  3. 民間的智慧人、必訓誨多人、然而他們多日必倒在刀下、或被火燒、或被擄掠搶奪。
  4. 他們仆倒的時候、稍得扶助、卻有許多人用諂媚的話親近他們。
  5. 智慧人中有些仆倒的、為要熬煉其餘的人、使他們清淨潔白、直到末了、因為到了定期、事就了結。
  1. "Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice And they will set up the abomination of desolation.
  2. "By smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.
  3. "Those who have insight among the people will give understanding to the many; yet they will fall by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for many days.
  4. "Now when they fall they will be granted a little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy.
  5. "Some of those who have insight will fall, in order to refine, purge and make them pure until the end time; because it is still to come at the appointed time.
 
 
  1. 王必任意而行、自高自大、超過所有的　神、又用奇異的話攻擊萬　神之　神．他必行事亨通、直到主的忿怒完畢、因為所定的事、必然成就。
  2. 他必不顧他列袓的神、也不顧婦女所羨慕的神、無論何神他都不顧、因為他必自大、高過一切。
  3. 他倒要敬拜保障的神、用金銀寶石、和可愛之物、敬奉他列袓所不認識的神。
  4. 他必靠外邦神的幫助、攻破最堅固的保障．凡承認他的、他必將榮耀加給他們、使他們管轄許多人、又為賄賂分地與他們。
  5. 到末了、南方王要與他交戰、北方王必用戰車、馬兵、和許多戰船、勢如暴風來攻擊他、也必進入列國如洪水氾濫．
  1. "Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods; and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is decreed will be done.
  2. "He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all.
  3. "But instead he will honor a god of fortresses, a god whom his fathers did not know; he will honor him with gold, silver, costly stones and treasures.
  4. "He will take action against the strongest of fortresses with the help of a foreign god; he will give great honor to those who acknowledge him and will cause them to rule over the many, and will parcel out land for a price.
  5. "At the end time the king of the South will collide with him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, with horsemen and with many ships; and he will enter countries, overflow them and pass through.
 
 
  1. 又必進入那榮美之地、有許多國就被傾覆、但以東人、摩押人、和一大半亞捫人、必脫離他的手。
  2. 他必伸手攻擊列國．埃及地也不得脫離。
  3. 他必把持埃及的金銀財寶、和各樣的寶物．呂彼亞人、和古實人、都必跟從他。
  4. 但從東方和北方必有消息擾亂他、他就大發烈怒出去、要將多人殺滅淨盡。
  5. 他必在海和榮美的聖山中間、設立他如宮殿的帳幕．然而到了他的結局、必無人能幫助他。
  1. "He will also enter the Beautiful Land, and many countries will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab and the foremost of the sons of Ammon.
  2. "Then he will stretch out his hand against other countries, and the land of Egypt will not escape.
  3. "But he will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans and Ethiopians will follow at his heels.
  4. "But rumors from the East and from the North will disturb him, and he will go forth with great wrath to destroy and annihilate many.
  5. "He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.
