  1. 那時保佑你本國之民的天使長〔原文作大君〕米迦勒、必站起來．並且有大艱難、從有國以來直到此時、沒有這樣的．你本國的民中、凡名錄在冊上的、必得拯救。
  2. 睡在塵埃中的、必有多人復醒．其中有得永生的、有受羞辱永遠被憎惡的。
  3. 智慧人必發光、如同天上的光．那使多人歸義的、必發光如星、直到永永遠遠。
  4. 但以理阿、你要隱藏這話、封閉這書．直到末時、必有多人來往奔跑、〔或作切心研究〕知識就必增長。
  5. 我但以理觀看、見另有兩個人站立、一個在河這邊、一個在河那邊。
  1. "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.
  2. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
  3. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
  4. But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."
  5. Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.
 
 
  1. 有一個問那站在河水以上、穿細麻衣的、說、這奇異的事、到幾時纔應驗呢。
  2. 我聽見那站在河水以上、穿細麻衣的、向天舉起左右手、指著活到永遠的主起誓、說、要到一載、二載、半載、打破聖民權力的時候、這一切事就都應驗了
  3. 我聽見這話、卻不明白、就說、我主阿、這些事的結局是怎樣呢。
  4. 他說、但以理阿、你只管去、因為這話已經隱藏封閉、直到末時。
  5. 必有許多人使自己清淨潔白、且被熬煉．但惡人仍必行惡、一切惡人都不明白、惟獨智慧人能明白。
  1. One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?"
  2. The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed."
  3. I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?"
  4. He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.
  5. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
 
 
  1. 從除掉常獻的燔祭、並設立那行毀壞可憎之物的時候、必有一千二百九十日。
  2. 等到一千三百三十五日的、那人便為有福。
  3. 你且去等候結局、因為你必安歇．到了末期、你必起來、享受你的福份。
  1. "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
  2. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
  3. "As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance."
