  1. 作耶穌基督僕人和使徒的西門彼得、寫信給那因我們的　神、和〔有古卷無和字〕救主耶穌基督之義、與我們同得一樣寶貴信心的人．
  2. 願恩惠平安、因你們認識　神和我們主耶穌、多多的加給你們．
  3. 　神的神能已將一切關乎生命和虔敬的事賜給我們、皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主．
  4. 因此他已將又寶貴又極大的應許賜給我們、叫我們既脫離世上從情慾來的敗壞、就得與　神的性情有分。
  5. 正因這緣故、你們要分外的殷勤．有了信心、又要加上德行．有了德行、又要加上知識．
  1. Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
  2. Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
  3. seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
  4. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
  5. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,
 
 
  1. 有了知識、又要加上節制．有了節制、又要加上忍耐．有了忍耐、又要加上虔敬．
  2. 有了虔敬、又要加上愛弟兄的心．有了愛弟兄的心、又要加上愛眾人的心。
  3. 你們若充充足足的有這幾樣、就必使你們在認識我們的主耶穌基督上、不至於閒懶不結果子了。
  4. 人若沒有這幾樣、就是眼瞎、只看見近處的、忘了他舊日的罪已經得了潔淨。
  5. 所以弟兄們、應當更加殷勤、使你們所蒙的恩召和揀選堅定不移．你們若行這幾樣、就永不失腳。
  1. and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,
  2. and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
  3. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  4. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.
  5. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;
 
 
  1. 這樣、必叫你們豐豐富富的、得以進入我們主救主耶穌基督永遠的國。
  2. 你們雖然曉得這些事、並且在你們已有的真道上堅固、我卻要將這些事常常題醒你們。
  3. 我以為應當趁我還在這帳棚的時候題醒你們、激發你們．
  4. 因為知道我脫離這帳棚的時候快到了、正如我們主耶穌基督所指示我的。
  5. 並且我要盡心竭力、使你們在我去世以後、時常記念這些事。
  1. for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.
  2. Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in the truth which is present with you.
  3. I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,
  4. knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
  5. And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.
 
 
  1. 我們從前、將我們主耶穌基督的大能、和他降臨的事、告訴你們、並不是隨從乖巧捏造的虛言、乃是親眼見過他的威榮。
  2. 他從父　神得尊貴榮耀的時候、從極大榮光之中、有聲音出來向他說、這是我的愛子、我所喜悅的．
  3. 我們同他在聖山的時候、親自聽見這聲音從天上出來。
  4. 我們並有先知更確的豫言、如同燈照在暗處．你們在這豫言上留意、直等到天發亮晨星在你們心裡出現的時候、纔是好的。
  5. 第一要緊的、該知道經上所有的豫言、沒有可隨私意解說的．
  1. For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
  2. For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory, "This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased"--
  3. and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
  4. So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.
  5. But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
 
 
  1. 因為豫言從來沒有出於人意的、乃是人被聖靈感動說出　神的話來。
  1. for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
