  1. 拿著七碗的七位天使中、有一位前來對我說、你到這裡來、我將坐在眾水上的大淫婦所要受的刑罰指給你看．
  2. 地上的君王與他行淫．住在地上的人喝醉了他淫亂的酒。
  3. 我被聖靈感動、天使帶我到曠野去．我就看見一個女人騎在朱紅色的獸上．那獸有七頭十角、遍體有褻瀆的名號。
  4. 那女人穿著紫色和朱紅色的衣服、用金子寶石珍珠為妝飾．手拿金杯、杯中盛滿了可憎之物、就是他淫亂的污穢。
  5. 在他額上有名寫著說、奧秘哉、大巴比倫、作世上的淫婦和一切可憎之物的母。
  1. And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
  2. With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
  3. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
  4. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
  5. And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
 
 
  1. 我又看見那女人喝醉了聖徒的血、和為耶穌作見證之人的血．我看見他、就大大的希奇。
  2. 天使對我說、你為甚麼希奇呢．我要將這女人和馱著他的那七頭十角獸的奧秘告訴你。
  3. 你所看見的獸、先前有、如今沒有．將要從無底坑裡上來、又要歸於沉淪。凡住在地上名字從創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的、見先前有、如今沒有、以後再有的獸、就必希奇。
  4. 智慧的心在此可以思想．那七頭就是女人所坐的七座山．
  5. 又是七位王．五位已經傾倒了、一位還在、一位還沒有來到．他來的時候、必須暫時存留。
  1. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
  2. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
  3. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
  4. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
  5. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
 
 
  1. 那先前有、如今沒有的獸、就是第八位．他也和那七位同列、並且歸於沉淪。
  2. 你所看見的那十角、就是十王．他們還沒有得國．但他們一時之間、要和獸同得權柄與王一樣。
  3. 他們同心合意、將自己的能力權柄給那獸。
  4. 他們與羔羊爭戰、羔羊必勝過他們、因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王．同著羔羊的、就是蒙召被選有忠心的、也必得勝。
  5. 天使又對我說、你所看見那淫婦坐的眾水、就是多民多人多國多方。
  1. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
  2. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
  3. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
  4. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
  5. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
 
 
  1. 你所看見的那十角、與獸、必恨這淫婦、使他冷落赤身．又要喫他的肉、用火將他燒盡。
  2. 因為　神使諸王同心合意、遵行他的旨意、把自己的國給那獸、直等到　神的話都應驗了。
  3. 你所看見的那女人、就是管轄地上眾王的大城。
  1. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
  2. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
  3. And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
