  1. 約書亞死後、以色列人求問耶和華說、我們中間誰當首先上去攻擊迦南人、與他們爭戰。
  2. 耶和華說、猶大當先上去．我已將那地交在他手中。
  3. 猶大對他哥哥西緬說、請你同我到拈鬮所得之地去、好與迦南人爭戰．以後我也同你到你拈鬮所得之地去．於是西緬與他同去。
  4. 猶大就上去．耶和華將迦南人和比利洗人交在他們手中．他們在比色擊殺了一萬人。
  5. 又在那裡遇見亞多尼比色、與他爭戰、殺敗迦南人和比利洗人。
  1. Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?
  2. And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.
  3. And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.
  4. And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.
  5. And they found Adonibezek in Bezek: and they fought against him, and they slew the Canaanites and the Perizzites.
 
 
  1. 亞多尼比色逃跑．他們追趕、拿住他、砍斷他手腳的大姆指。
  2. 亞多尼比色說、從前有七十個王、手腳的大姆指都被我砍斷、在我桌子底下拾取零碎食物．現在　神按著我所行的報應我了。於是他們將亞多尼比色帶到耶路撒冷、他就死在那裡。
  3. 猶大人攻打耶路撒冷、將城攻取、用刀殺了城內的人、並且放火燒城。
  4. 後來猶大人下去、與住山地南地和高原的迦南人爭戰。
  5. 猶大人去攻擊住希伯崙的迦南人、殺了示篩、亞希幔、撻買．希伯崙從前名叫基列亞巴。
  1. But Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.
  2. And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
  3. Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.
  4. And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.
  5. And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.
 
 
  1. 他們從那裡去攻擊底壁的居民．底璧從前名叫基列西弗。
  2. 迦勒說、誰能攻打基列西弗、將城奪取、我就把我女兒押撒給他為妻。
  3. 迦勒兄弟基納斯的兒子俄陀聶、奪取了那城．迦勒就把女兒押撒給他為妻。
  4. 押撒過門的時候、勸丈夫向他父親求一塊田．押撒一下驢、迦勒問他說、你要甚麼．
  5. 他說、求你賜福給我．你既將我安置在南地、求你也給我水泉．迦勒就把上泉下泉賜給他。
  1. And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher:
  2. And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
  3. And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
  4. And it came to pass, when she came to him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?
  5. And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.
 
 
  1. 摩西的內兄〔或作岳父〕是基尼人、他的子孫與猶大人一同離了棕樹城、往亞拉得以南的猶大曠野去、就住在民中。
  2. 猶大和他哥哥西緬同去、擊殺了住洗法的迦南人、將城盡行毀滅。那城的名便叫何珥瑪。
  3. 猶大又取了迦薩和迦薩的四境、亞實基倫和亞實基倫的四境、以革倫和以革倫的四境。
  4. 耶和華與猶大同在、猶大就趕出山地的居民．只是不能趕出平原的居民、因為他們有鐵車。
  5. 以色列人照摩西所說的、將希伯崙給了迦勒．迦勒就從那裡趕出亞衲族的三個族長。
  1. And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.
  2. And Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they slew the Canaanites that inhabited Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. And the name of the city was called Hormah.
  3. Also Judah took Gaza with the coast thereof, and Askelon with the coast thereof, and Ekron with the coast thereof.
  4. And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
  5. And they gave Hebron unto Caleb, as Moses said: and he expelled thence the three sons of Anak.
 
 
  1. 便雅憫人沒有趕出住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人．耶布斯人仍在耶路撒冷與便雅憫人同住、直到今日。
  2. 約瑟家也上去攻打伯特利、耶和華與他們同在。
  3. 約瑟家打發人去窺探伯特利。那城起先名叫路斯。
  4. 窺探的人看見一個人從城裡出來、就對他說、求你將進城的路指示我們、我們必恩待你。
  5. 那人將進城的路指示他們、他們就用刀擊殺了城中的居民、但將那人和他全家放去。
  1. And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.
  2. And the house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel: and the LORD was with them.
  3. And the house of Joseph sent to descry Bethel. (Now the name of the city before was Luz.)
  4. And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.
  5. And when he shewed them the entrance into the city, they smote the city with the edge of the sword; but they let go the man and all his family.
 
 
  1. 那人往赫人之地去、築了一座城、起名叫路斯、那城到如今還叫這名。
  2. 瑪拿西沒有趕出伯善和屬伯善鄉村的居民、他納和屬他納鄉村的居民、多珥和屬多珥鄉村的居民、以伯蓮和屬以伯蓮鄉村的居民、米吉多和屬米吉多鄉村的居民．迦南人卻執意住在那些地方。
  3. 及至以色列強盛了、就使迦南人作苦工、沒有把他們全然趕出。
  4. 以法蓮沒有趕出住基色的迦南人．於是迦南人仍住在基色、在以法蓮中間。
  5. 西布倫沒有趕出基倫的居民、和拿哈拉的居民．於是迦南人仍住在西布倫中間、成了服苦的人。
  1. And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto this day.
  2. Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Bethshean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
  3. And it came to pass, when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, and did not utterly drive them out.
  4. Neither did Ephraim drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in Gezer among them.
  5. Neither did Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them, and became tributaries.
 
 
  1. 亞設沒有趕出亞柯和西頓的居民、亞黑拉和亞革悉的居民、黑巴、亞弗革與利合的居民．
  2. 於是亞設因為沒有趕出那地的迦南人、就住在他們中間。
  3. 拿弗他利沒有趕出伯示麥和伯亞納的居民．於是拿弗他利就住在那地的迦南人中間．然而伯示麥和伯亞納的居民、成了服苦的人。
  4. 亞摩利人強逼但人住在山地、不容他們下到平原．
  5. 亞摩利人卻執意住在希烈山和亞雅倫、並沙賓、然而約瑟家勝了他們、使他們成了服苦的人。
  1. Neither did Asher drive out the inhabitants of Accho, nor the inhabitants of Zidon, nor of Ahlab, nor of Achzib, nor of Helbah, nor of Aphik, nor of Rehob:
  2. But the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: for they did not drive them out.
  3. Neither did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh, nor the inhabitants of Bethanath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of Bethanath became tributaries unto them.
  4. And the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not suffer them to come down to the valley:
  5. But the Amorites would dwell in mount Heres in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim: yet the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they became tributaries.
 
 
  1. 亞摩利人的境界、是從亞克拉濱坡、從西拉而上。
  1. And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.
