箴言 14 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 智慧婦人、建立家室.愚妄婦人、親手拆毀。
  2. 行動正直的、敬畏耶和華.行事乖僻的、卻藐視他。
  3. 愚妄人口中驕傲、如杖責打己身.智慧人的嘴、必保守自己。
  4. 家裡無牛、槽頭乾淨.土產加多、乃憑牛力。
  5. 誠實見證人、不說謊話.假見證人、吐出謊言。
  1. The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
  2. He whose walk is upright fears the LORD, but he whose ways are devious despises him.
  3. A fool's talk brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.
  4. Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty, but from the strength of an ox comes an abundant harvest.
  5. A truthful witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies.
 
 
  1. 褻慢人尋智慧、卻尋不著.聰明人易得知識。
  2. 到愚昧人面前、不見他嘴中有知識。
  3. 通達人的智慧、在乎明白己道.愚昧人的愚妄、乃是詭詐.〔或作自歎〕
  4. 愚妄人犯罪、以為戲耍.〔或作贖愆祭愚弄愚妄人〕正直人互相喜悅。
  5. 心中的苦楚、自己知道.心裡的喜樂、外人無干。
  1. The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.
  2. Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips.
  3. The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.
  4. Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright.
  5. Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.
 
 
  1. 奸惡人的房屋必傾倒.正直人的帳棚必興盛。
  2. 有一條路人以為正.至終成為死亡之路。
  3. 人在喜笑中、心也憂愁.快樂至極、就生愁苦。
  4. 心中背道的、必滿得自己的結果.善人必從自己的行為得以知足。
  5. 愚蒙人是話都信.通達人步步謹慎。
  1. The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
  2. There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
  3. Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in grief.
  4. The faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good man rewarded for his.
  5. A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.
 
 
  1. 智慧人懼怕、就遠離惡事.愚妄人卻狂傲自恃。
  2. 輕易發怒的、行事愚妄.設立詭計的、被人恨惡。
  3. 愚蒙人得愚昧為產業.通達人得知識為冠冕。
  4. 壞人俯伏在善人面前.惡人俯伏在義人門口。
  5. 貧窮人連鄰舍也恨他.富足人朋友最多。
  1. A wise man fears the LORD and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless.
  2. A quick-tempered man does foolish things, and a crafty man is hated.
  3. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
  4. Evil men will bow down in the presence of the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
  5. The poor are shunned even by their neighbors, but the rich have many friends.
 
 
  1. 藐視鄰舍的、這人有罪.憐憫貧窮的、這人有福。
  2. 謀惡的豈非走入迷途麼.謀善的必得慈愛和誠實。
  3. 諸般勤勞、都有益處.嘴上多言、乃致窮乏。
  4. 智慧人的財、為自己的冠冕.愚妄人的愚昧、終是愚昧。
  5. 作真見證的、救人性命.吐出謊言的、施行詭詐。
  1. He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is kind to the needy.
  2. Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.
  3. All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
  4. The wealth of the wise is their crown, but the folly of fools yields folly.
  5. A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is deceitful.
 
 
  1. 敬畏耶和華的、大有倚靠.他的兒女、也有避難所。
  2. 敬畏耶和華、就是生命的泉源、可以使人離開死亡的網羅。
  3. 帝王榮耀在乎民多.君王衰敗在乎民少。
  4. 不輕易發怒的、大有聰明.性情暴躁的、大顯愚妄。
  5. 心中安靜、是肉體的生命.嫉妒是骨中的朽爛。
  1. He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.
  2. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death.
  3. A large population is a king's glory, but without subjects a prince is ruined.
  4. A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.
  5. A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
 
 
  1. 欺壓貧寒的、是辱沒造他的主.憐憫窮乏的、乃是尊敬主。
  2. 惡人在所行的惡上、必被推倒.義人臨死、有所投靠。
  3. 智慧存在聰明人心中.愚昧人心裡所存的、顯而易見。
  4. 公義使邦國高舉.罪惡是人民的羞辱。
  5. 智慧的臣子、蒙王恩惠.貽羞的僕人、遭其震怒。
  1. He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
  2. When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge.
  3. Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning and even among fools she lets herself be known.
  4. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
  5. A king delights in a wise servant, but a shameful servant incurs his wrath.
