箴言 22 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 美名勝過大財.恩寵強如金銀。
  2. 富戶窮人、在世相遇、都為耶和華所造。
  3. 通達人見禍藏躲.愚蒙人前往受害。
  4. 敬畏耶和華心存謙卑、就得富有、尊榮、生命為賞賜。
  5. 乖僻人的路上、有荊棘和網羅.保守自己生命的、必要遠離。
  1. A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.
  2. Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all.
  3. A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
  4. Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life.
  5. In the paths of the wicked lie thorns and snares, but he who guards his soul stays far from them.
 
 
  1. 教養孩童、使他走當行的道、就是到老他也不偏離。
  2. 富戶管轄窮人.欠債的是債主的僕人。
  3. 撒罪孽的、必收災禍.他逞怒的杖、也必廢掉。
  4. 眼目慈善的、就必蒙福.因他將食物分給窮人。
  5. 趕出褻慢人、爭端就消除、分爭和羞辱、也必止息。
  1. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
  2. The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
  3. He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.
  4. A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.
  5. Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended.
 
 
  1. 喜愛清心的人、因他嘴上的恩言、王必與他為友。
  2. 耶和華的眼目、眷顧聰明人.卻傾敗奸詐人的言語。
  3. 懶惰人說、外頭有獅子、我在街上、就必被殺。
  4. 淫婦的口為深坑、耶和華所憎惡的、必陷在其中。
  5. 愚蒙迷住孩童的心、用管教的杖可以遠遠趕除。
  1. He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.
  2. The eyes of the LORD keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.
  3. The sluggard says, "There is a lion outside!" or, "I will be murdered in the streets!"
  4. The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; he who is under the LORD's wrath will fall into it.
  5. Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.
 
 
  1. 欺壓貧窮為要利己的、並送禮與富戶的、都必缺乏。
  2. 你須側耳聽受智慧人的言語、留心領會我的知識.
  3. 你若心中存記、嘴上咬定、這便為美。
  4. 我今日以此特別指教你、為要使你倚靠耶和華。
  5. 謀略和知識的美事、我豈沒有寫給你麼.
  1. He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich--both come to poverty.
  2. Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach,
  3. for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips.
  4. So that your trust may be in the LORD, I teach you today, even you.
  5. Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge,
 
 
  1. 要使你知道真言的實理、你好將真言回覆那打發你來的人。
  2. 貧窮人、你不可因他貧窮就搶奪他的物.也不可在城門口欺壓困苦人.
  3. 因耶和華必為他辨屈.搶奪他的、耶和華必奪取那人的命。
  4. 好生氣的人、不可與他結交.暴怒的人、不可與他來往.
  5. 恐怕你效法他的行為、自己就陷在網羅裡。
  1. teaching you true and reliable words, so that you can give sound answers to him who sent you?
  2. Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,
  3. for the LORD will take up their case and will plunder those who plunder them.
  4. Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered,
  5. or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.
 
 
  1. 不要與人擊掌、不要為欠債的作保。
  2. 你若沒有甚麼償還、何必使人奪去你睡臥的床呢。
  3. 你先祖所立的地界、你不可挪移。
  4. 你看見辦事殷勤的人麼、他必站在君王面前.必不站在下賤人面前。
  1. Do not be a man who strikes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts;
  2. if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.
  3. Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers.
  4. Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.
