箴言 29 [繁體:NIV]   
 
  1. 人屢次受責罰、仍然硬著頸項.他必頃刻敗壞、無法可治。
  2. 義人增多、民就喜樂.惡人掌權、民就歎息。
  3. 愛慕智慧的、使父親喜樂.與妓女結交的、卻浪費錢財。
  4. 王藉公平、使國堅定.索要賄賂、使國傾敗。
  5. 諂媚鄰舍的、就是設網羅絆他的腳。
  1. A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.
  2. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.
  3. A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
  4. By justice a king gives a country stability, but one who is greedy for bribes tears it down.
  5. Whoever flatters his neighbor is spreading a net for his feet.
 
 
  1. 惡人犯罪、自陷網羅.惟獨義人歡呼喜樂。
  2. 義人知道查明窮人的案.惡人沒有聰明、就不得而知。
  3. 褻慢人煽惑通城.智慧人止息眾怒。
  4. 智慧人與愚妄人相爭、或怒、或笑、總不能使他止息。
  5. 好流人血的、恨惡完全人、索取正直人的性命。
  1. An evil man is snared by his own sin, but a righteous one can sing and be glad.
  2. The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
  3. Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger.
  4. If a wise man goes to court with a fool, the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.
  5. Bloodthirsty men hate a man of integrity and seek to kill the upright.
 
 
  1. 愚妄人怒氣全發.智慧人忍氣含怒。
  2. 君王若聽謊言、他一切臣僕都是奸惡。
  3. 貧窮人、強暴人、在世相遇、他們的眼目、都蒙耶和華光照。
  4. 君王憑誠實判斷窮人.他的國位、必永遠堅立。
  5. 杖打和責備、能加增智慧.放縱的兒子、使母親羞愧。
  1. A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
  2. If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked.
  3. The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives sight to the eyes of both.
  4. If a king judges the poor with fairness, his throne will always be secure.
  5. The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.
 
 
  1. 惡人加多、過犯也加多.義人必看見他們跌倒。
  2. 管教你的兒子、他就使你得安息、也必使你心裡喜樂。
  3. 沒有異象、〔或作默示〕民就放肆.惟遵守律法的、便為有福。
  4. 只用言語、僕人不肯受管教、他雖然明白、也不留意。
  5. 你見言語急躁的人麼.愚昧人比他更有指望。
  1. When the wicked thrive, so does sin, but the righteous will see their downfall.
  2. Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.
  3. Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
  4. A servant cannot be corrected by mere words; though he understands, he will not respond.
  5. Do you see a man who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
 
 
  1. 人將僕人從小嬌養、這僕人終久必成了他的兒子。
  2. 好氣的人挑啟爭端.暴怒的人、多多犯罪。
  3. 人的高傲必使他卑下.心裡謙遜的、必得尊榮。
  4. 人與盜賊分贓、是恨惡自己的性命.他聽見叫人發誓的聲音、卻不言語。
  5. 懼怕人的、陷入網羅.惟有倚靠耶和華的、必得安穩。
  1. If a man pampers his servant from youth, he will bring grief in the end.
  2. An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins.
  3. A man's pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.
  4. The accomplice of a thief is his own enemy; he is put under oath and dare not testify.
  5. Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
 
 
  1. 求王恩的人多.定人事乃在耶和華。
  2. 為非作歹的、被義人憎嫌.行事正直的、被惡人憎惡。
  1. Many seek an audience with a ruler, but it is from the LORD that man gets justice.
  2. The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright.
