  1. Then Solomon said, "The LORD has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;
  2. I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever."
  3. While the whole assembly of Israel was standing there, the king turned around and blessed them.
  4. Then he said: "Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David. For he said,
  5. 'Since the day I brought my people out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built for my Name to be there, nor have I chosen anyone to be the leader over my people Israel.
  1. 那時所羅門說、耶和華曾說他必住在幽暗之處。
  2. 但我已經建造殿宇、作你的居所、為你永遠的住處。
  3. 王轉臉為以色列會眾祝福.以色列會眾就都站立。
  4. 所羅門說、耶和華以色列的 神、是應當稱頌的、因他親口向我父大衛所應許的、也親手成就了.
  5. 他說、『自從我領我民出埃及地以來、我未曾在以色列眾支派中選擇一城、建造殿宇、為我名的居所.也未曾揀選一人作我民以色列的君.
 
 
  1. But now I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there, and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.'
  2. "My father David had it in his heart to build a temple for the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  3. But the LORD said to my father David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a temple for my Name, you did well to have this in your heart.
  4. Nevertheless, you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, who is your own flesh and blood--he is the one who will build the temple for my Name.'
  5. "The LORD has kept the promise he made. I have succeeded David my father and now I sit on the throne of Israel, just as the LORD promised, and I have built the temple for the Name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
  1. 但選擇耶路撒冷為我名的居所.又揀選大衛治理我民以色列』
  2. 所羅門說、我父大衛曾立意要為耶和華以色列 神的名建殿。
  3. 耶和華卻對我父大衛說、你立意要為我的名建殿、這意思甚好.
  4. 只是你不可建殿.惟你所生的兒子必為我名建殿。
  5. 現在耶和華成就了他所應許的話、使我接續我父大衛坐以色列的國位、是照耶和華所說的、又為耶和華以色列 神的名建造了殿.
 
 
  1. There I have placed the ark, in which is the covenant of the LORD that he made with the people of Israel."
  2. Then Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in front of the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands.
  3. Now he had made a bronze platform, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, and had placed it in the center of the outer court. He stood on the platform and then knelt down before the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands toward heaven.
  4. He said: "O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth--you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.
  5. You have kept your promise to your servant David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it--as it is today.
  1. 我將約櫃安置在其中、櫃內有耶和華的約、就是他與以色列人所立的約。
  2. 所羅門當著以色列會眾、站在耶和華的壇前、舉起手來.
  3. 所羅門曾造一個銅臺、長五肘、寬五肘、高三肘、放在院中.就站在臺上、當著以色列的會眾跪下、向天舉手、
  4. 說、耶和華以色列的 神阿、天上地下沒有神可比你的.你向那盡心行在你面前的僕人守約施慈愛.
  5. 向你僕人我父大衛所應許的話、現在應驗了.你親口應許、親手成就、正如今日一樣。
 
 
  1. "Now LORD, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father the promises you made to him when you said, 'You shall never fail to have a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your sons are careful in all they do to walk before me according to my law, as you have done.'
  2. And now, O LORD, God of Israel, let your word that you promised your servant David come true.
  3. "But will God really dwell on earth with men? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
  4. Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his plea for mercy, O LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence.
  5. May your eyes be open toward this temple day and night, this place of which you said you would put your Name there. May you hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place.
  1. 耶和華以色列的 神阿、你所應許你僕人我父大衛的話、說、你的子孫若謹慎自己的行為、遵守我的律法、像你在我面前所行的一樣、就不斷人坐以色列的國位.現在求你應驗這話。
  2. 耶和華以色列的 神阿、求你成就向你僕人大衛所應許的話。
  3.  神果真與世人同住在地上麼.看哪、天和天上的天、尚且不足你居住的.何況我所建的這殿呢。
  4. 惟求耶和華我的 神、垂顧僕人的禱告祈求、俯聽僕人在你面前的祈禱呼籲.
  5. 願你晝夜看顧這殿、就是你應許立為你名的居所.求你垂聽僕人向此處禱告的話。
 
 
  1. Hear the supplications of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.
  2. "When a man wrongs his neighbor and is required to take an oath and he comes and swears the oath before your altar in this temple,
  3. then hear from heaven and act. Judge between your servants, repaying the guilty by bringing down on his own head what he has done. Declare the innocent not guilty and so establish his innocence.
  4. "When your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you and when they turn back and confess your name, praying and making supplication before you in this temple,
  5. then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them back to the land you gave to them and their fathers.
  1. 你僕人和你民以色列向此處祈禱的時候、求你從天上你的居所垂聽、垂聽而赦免。
  2. 人若得罪鄰舍、有人叫他起誓、他來到這殿、在你的壇前起誓.
  3. 求你從天上垂聽、判斷你的僕人、定惡人有罪、照他所行的報應在他頭上、定義人有理、照他的義賞賜他。
  4. 你的民以色列若得罪你、敗在仇敵面前、又回心轉意承認你的名、在這殿裡向你祈求禱告.
  5. 求你從天上垂聽、赦免你民以色列的罪、使他們歸回你賜給他們和他們列祖之地。
 
 
  1. "When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and confess your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them,
  2. then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.
  3. "When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when enemies besiege them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come,
  4. and when a prayer or plea is made by any of your people Israel--each one aware of his afflictions and pains, and spreading out his hands toward this temple-
  5. then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive, and deal with each man according to all he does, since you know his heart (for you alone know the hearts of men),
  1. 你的民因得罪你、你懲罰他們、使天閉塞不下雨、他們若向此處禱告、承認你的名、離開他們的罪.
  2. 求你在天上垂聽、赦免你僕人和你民以色列的罪、將當行的善道、指教他們、且降雨在你的地、就是你賜給你民為業之地。
  3. 國中若有饑荒、瘟疫、旱風、霉爛、蝗蟲、螞蚱.或有仇敵犯境、圍困城邑.無論遭遇甚麼災禍疾病.
  4. 你的民以色列、或是眾人、或是一人、自覺災禍甚苦、向這殿舉手、無論祈求甚麼、禱告甚麼、
  5. 求你從天上你的居所垂聽赦免、你是知道人心的、要照各人所行的待他們.(惟有你知道世人的心)
 
 
  1. so that they will fear you and walk in your ways all the time they live in the land you gave our fathers.
  2. "As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm--when he comes and prays toward this temple,
  3. then hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.
  4. "When your people go to war against their enemies, wherever you send them, and when they pray to you toward this city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name,
  5. then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.
  1. 使他們在你賜給我們列祖之地上一生一世敬畏你、遵行你的道。
  2. 論到不屬你民以色列的外邦人、為你的大名、和大能的手、並伸出來的膀臂、從遠方而來、向這殿禱告.
  3. 求你從天上你的居所垂聽、照著外邦人所祈求的而行.使天下萬民都認識你的名、敬畏你、像你的民以色列一樣.又使他們知道我建造的這殿、是稱為你名下的。
  4. 你的民若奉你的差遣、無論往何處去、與仇敵爭戰、向你所選擇的城、與我為你名所建造的殿禱告.
  5. 求你從天上垂聽他們的禱告祈求、使他們得勝。
 
 
  1. "When they sin against you--for there is no one who does not sin--and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near;
  2. and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly';
  3. and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their fathers, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name;
  4. then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.
  5. "Now, my God, may your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
  1. 你的民若得罪你、(世上沒有不犯罪的人)你向他們發怒、將他們交給仇敵擄到或遠或近之地.
  2. 他們若在擄到之地想起罪來、回心轉意、懇求你說、我們有罪了、我們悖逆了、我們作惡了.
  3. 他們若在擄到之地盡心盡性歸服你、又向自己的地、就是你賜給他們列祖之地、和你所選擇的城、並我為你名所建造的殿禱告.
  4. 求你從天上你的居所垂聽你民的禱告祈求、為他們伸冤、赦免他們的過犯。
  5. 我的 神阿、現在求你睜眼看、側耳聽、在此處所獻的禱告。
 
 
  1. "Now arise, O LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, may your saints rejoice in your goodness.
  2. O LORD God, do not reject your anointed one. Remember the great love promised to David your servant."
  1. 耶和華 神阿、求你起來、和你有能力的約櫃、同入安息之所.耶和華 神阿、願你的祭司披上救恩、願你的聖民蒙福歡樂。
  2. 耶和華 神阿、求你不要厭棄你的受膏者.要記念向你僕人大衛所施的慈愛。
