  1. When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
  2. The priests could not enter the temple of the LORD because the glory of the LORD filled it.
  3. When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, "He is good; his love endures forever."
  4. Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.
  5. And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand head of cattle and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep and goats. So the king and all the people dedicated the temple of God.
  1. 所羅門祈禱已畢、就有火從天上降下來、燒盡燔祭和別的祭.耶和華的榮光充滿了殿.
  2. 因耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華殿、所以祭司不能進殿。
  3. 那火降下、耶和華的榮光在殿上的時候、以色列眾人看見、就在鋪石地俯伏叩拜、稱謝耶和華說、耶和華本為善、他的慈愛永遠長存。
  4. 王和眾民在耶和華面前獻祭.
  5. 所羅門王用牛二萬二千、羊十二萬獻祭。這樣、王和眾民為 神的殿行奉獻之禮。
 
 
  1. The priests took their positions, as did the Levites with the LORD's musical instruments, which King David had made for praising the LORD and which were used when he gave thanks, saying, "His love endures forever." Opposite the Levites, the priests blew their trumpets, and all the Israelites were standing.
  2. Solomon consecrated the middle part of the courtyard in front of the temple of the LORD, and there he offered burnt offerings and the fat of the fellowship offerings, because the bronze altar he had made could not hold the burnt offerings, the grain offerings and the fat portions.
  3. So Solomon observed the festival at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him--a vast assembly, people from Lebo Hamath to the Wadi of Egypt.
  4. On the eighth day they held an assembly, for they had celebrated the dedication of the altar for seven days and the festival for seven days more.
  5. On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people to their homes, joyful and glad in heart for the good things the LORD had done for David and Solomon and for his people Israel.
  1. 祭司侍立、各供其職.利未人也拿著耶和華的樂器、就是大衛王造出來、藉利未人頌讚耶和華的.(他的慈愛永遠長存)祭司在眾人面前吹號.以色列人都站立。
  2. 所羅門因他所造的銅壇、容不下燔祭、素祭和脂油、便將耶和華殿前院子當中分別為聖、在那裡獻燔祭和平安祭牲的脂油。
  3. 那時所羅門和以色列眾人、就是從哈馬口直到埃及小河所有的以色列人、都聚集、成為大會、守節七日。
  4. 第八日設立嚴肅會.行奉獻壇的禮七日、守節七日。
  5. 七月二十三日、王遣散眾民.他們因見耶和華向大衛和所羅門與他民以色列所施的恩惠、就都心中喜樂、各歸各家去了。
 
 
  1. When Solomon had finished the temple of the LORD and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the LORD and in his own palace,
  2. the LORD appeared to him at night and said: "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices.
  3. "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,
  4. if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
  5. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
  1. 所羅門造成了耶和華殿和王宮.在耶和華殿和王宮凡他心中所要作的、都順順利利地作成了。
  2. 夜間耶和華向所羅門顯現、對他說、我已聽了你的禱告、也選擇這地方作為祭祀我的殿宇。
  3. 我若使天閉塞不下雨、或使蝗蟲喫這地的出產、或使瘟疫流行在我民中.
  4. 這稱為我名下的子民、若是自卑、禱告、尋求我的面、轉離他們的惡行.我必從天上垂聽、赦免他們的罪醫治他們的地。
  5. 我必睜眼看、側耳聽、在此處所獻的禱告。
 
 
  1. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
  2. "As for you, if you walk before me as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws,
  3. I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said, 'You shall never fail to have a man to rule over Israel.'
  4. "But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them,
  5. then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
  1. 現在我已選擇這殿、分別為聖、使我的名永在其中.我的眼我的心也必常在那裡。
  2. 你若在我面前效法你父大衛所行的、遵行我一切所吩咐你的、謹守我的律例典章.
  3. 我就必堅固你的國位、正如我與你父大衛所立的約、說、你的子孫必不斷人作以色列的王。
  4. 倘若你們轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命、去事奉敬拜別神.
  5. 我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來、並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿、也必捨棄不顧、使他在萬民中作笑談、被譏誚。
 
 
  1. And though this temple is now so imposing, all who pass by will be appalled and say, 'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?'
  2. People will answer, 'Because they have forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them--that is why he brought all this disaster on them.' "
  1. 這殿雖然甚高、將來經過的人必驚訝說、耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢.
  2. 人必回答說、是因此地的人離棄耶和華他們列祖的 神、就是領他們出埃及地的 神、去親近別神、敬拜事奉他.所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。
