  1. O LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me,
  2. or they will tear me like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
  3. O LORD my God, if I have done this and there is guilt on my hands-
  4. if I have done evil to him who is at peace with me or without cause have robbed my foe-
  5. then let my enemy pursue and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and make me sleep in the dust. Selah
  1. O LORD my God, in You I have taken refuge; Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
  2. Or he will tear my soul like a lion, Dragging me away, while there is none to deliver.
  3. O LORD my God, if I have done this, If there is injustice in my hands,
  4. If I have rewarded evil to my friend, Or have plundered him who without cause was my adversary,
  5. Let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it; And let him trample my life down to the ground And lay my glory in the dust. Selah.

  1. Arise, O LORD, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice.
  2. Let the assembled peoples gather around you. Rule over them from on high;
  3. let the LORD judge the peoples. Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High.
  4. O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure.
  5. My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart.
  1. Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift up Yourself against the rage of my adversaries, And arouse Yourself for me; You have appointed judgment.
  2. Let the assembly of the peoples encompass You, And over them return on high.
  3. The LORD judges the peoples; Vindicate me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.
  4. O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds.
  5. My shield is with God, Who saves the upright in heart.

  1. God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses his wrath every day.
  2. If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow.
  3. He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows.
  4. He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment.
  5. He who digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit he has made.
  1. God is a righteous judge, And a God who has indignation every day.
  2. If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready.
  3. He has also prepared for Himself deadly weapons; He makes His arrows fiery shafts.
  4. Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood.
  5. He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made.

  1. The trouble he causes recoils on himself; his violence comes down on his own head.
  2. I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
  1. His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own pate.
  2. I will give thanks to the LORD according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
