Psalms 19 [NIV:KJV]

  1. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
  2. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.
  3. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.
  4. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,
  5. which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
  1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
  2. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
  3. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
  4. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
  5. Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

  1. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.
  2. The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
  3. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
  4. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.
  5. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.
  1. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
  2. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
  3. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
  4. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
  5. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

  1. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
  2. Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults.
  3. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
  4. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
  1. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
  2. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
  3. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
  4. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
