Proverbs 10 [NIV:繁體]   
 
  1. The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.
  2. Ill-gotten treasures are of no value, but righteousness delivers from death.
  3. The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
  4. Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.
  5. He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
  1. 所羅門的箴言。智慧之子、使父親歡樂.愚昧之子、叫母親擔憂。
  2. 不義之財、毫無益處.惟有公義、能救人脫離死亡。
  3. 耶和華不使義人受飢餓.惡人所欲的他必推開。
  4. 手懶的、要受貧窮.手勤的、卻要富足。
  5. 夏天聚斂的、是智慧之子.收割時沉睡的、是貽羞之子。
 
 
  1. Blessings crown the head of the righteous, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
  2. The memory of the righteous will be a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.
  3. The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.
  4. The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.
  5. He who winks maliciously causes grief, and a chattering fool comes to ruin.
  1. 福祉臨到義人的頭.強暴蒙蔽惡人的口。
  2. 義人的紀念被稱讚.惡人的名字必朽爛。
  3. 心中智慧的、必受命令.口裡愚妄的、必致傾倒。
  4. 行正直路的、步步安穩.走彎曲道的、必致敗露。
  5. 以眼傳神的、使人憂患.口裡愚妄的、必致傾倒。
 
 
  1. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
  2. Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.
  3. Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks judgment.
  4. Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin.
  5. The wealth of the rich is their fortified city, but poverty is the ruin of the poor.
  1. 義人的口是生命的泉源.強暴蒙蔽惡人的口。
  2. 恨、能挑啟爭端.愛、能遮掩一切過錯。
  3. 明哲人嘴裡有智慧.無知人背上受刑杖。
  4. 智慧人積存知識.愚妄人的口速致敗壞。
  5. 富戶的財物、是他的堅城.窮人的貧乏、是他的敗壞。
 
 
  1. The wages of the righteous bring them life, but the income of the wicked brings them punishment.
  2. He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
  3. He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.
  4. When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.
  5. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value.
  1. 義人的勤勞致生.惡人的進項致死。〔死原文作罪〕
  2. 謹守訓誨的、乃在生命的道上.違棄責備的、便失迷了路。
  3. 隱藏怨恨的、有說謊的嘴.口出讒謗的、是愚妄的人。
  4. 多言多語難免有過.禁止嘴唇是有智慧。
  5. 義人的舌、乃似高銀.惡人的心所值無幾。
 
 
  1. The lips of the righteous nourish many, but fools die for lack of judgment.
  2. The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
  3. A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct, but a man of understanding delights in wisdom.
  4. What the wicked dreads will overtake him; what the righteous desire will be granted.
  5. When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever.
  1. 義人的口教養多人.愚昧人因無知而死亡。
  2. 耶和華所賜的福、使人富足、並不加上憂慮。
  3. 愚妄人以行惡為戲耍.明哲人卻以智慧為樂。
  4. 惡人所怕的必臨到他.義人所願的必蒙應允。
  5. 暴風一過、惡人歸於無有.義人的根基卻是永久。
 
 
  1. As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is a sluggard to those who send him.
  2. The fear of the LORD adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short.
  3. The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.
  4. The way of the LORD is a refuge for the righteous, but it is the ruin of those who do evil.
  5. The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land.
  1. 懶惰人叫差他的人、如醋倒牙、如煙薰目。
  2. 敬畏耶和華、使人日子加多.但惡人的年歲必被減少。
  3. 義人的盼望、必得喜樂.惡人的指望、必至滅沒。
  4. 耶和華的道、是正直人的保障.卻成了作孽人的敗壞。
  5. 義人永不挪移.惡人不得住在地上。
 
 
  1. The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but a perverse tongue will be cut out.
  2. The lips of the righteous know what is fitting, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.
  1. 義人的口、滋生智慧.乖謬的舌、必被割斷。
  2. 義人的嘴、能令人喜悅.惡人的口、說乖謬的話。
