  1. And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
  2. And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
  3. We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
  4. Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
  5. For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
  1. 過了五天、大祭司亞拿尼亞、同幾個長老、和一個辯士帖士羅、下來、向巡撫控告保羅.
  2. 保羅被提了來、帖士羅就告他說、
  3. 腓力斯大人、我們因你得以大享太平、並且這一國的弊病、因著你的先見、得以更正了.我們隨時隨地、滿心感謝不盡。
  4. 惟恐多說、你嫌煩絮、只求你寬容聽我們說幾句話。
  5. 我們看這個人、如同瘟疫一般、是鼓動普天下眾猶太人生亂的、又是拿撒勒教黨裡的一個頭目.
 
 
  1. Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
  2. But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
  3. Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
  4. And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
  5. Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
  1. 連聖殿他也想要污穢.我們把他捉住了.〔有古卷在此有要按我們的律法審問〕
  2. 〔不料千夫長呂西亞前來甚是強橫從我們手中把他奪去吩咐告他的人到你這裡來〕
  3. 你自己究問他、就可以知道我們告他的一切事了。
  4. 眾猶太人也隨著告他說、事情誠然是這樣。
  5. 巡撫點頭叫保羅說話、他就說、我知道你在這國裡斷事多年、所以我樂意為自己分訴。
 
 
  1. Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
  2. And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
  3. Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
  4. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
  5. And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
  1. 你查問就可以知道、從我上耶路撒冷禮拜、到今日、不過有十二天.
  2. 他們並沒有看見我在殿裡、或是在會堂裡、或是在城裡、和人辯論、聳動眾人。
  3. 他們現在所告我的事、並不能對你證實了。
  4. 但有一件事、我向你承認、就是他們所稱為異端的道、我正按著那道事奉我祖宗的 神、又信合乎律法的、和先知書上一切所記載的.
  5. 並且靠著 神、盼望死人、無論善惡、都要復活、就是他們自己也有這個盼望。
 
 
  1. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.
  2. Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
  3. Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
  4. Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
  5. Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
  1. 我因此自己勉勵、對 神、對人、常存無虧的良心。
  2. 過了幾年、我帶著賙濟本國的捐項和供獻的物上去。
  3. 正獻的時候、他們看見我在殿裡已經潔淨了、並沒有聚眾、也沒有吵嚷.惟有幾個從亞西亞來的猶太人.
  4. 他們若有告我的事、就應當到你面前來告我。
  5. 即或不然、這些人、若看出我站在公會前、有妄為的地方、他們自己也可以說明。
 
 
  1. Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
  2. And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
  3. And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
  4. And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
  5. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
  1. 縱然有、也不過一句話、就是我站在他們中間大聲說、我今日在你們面前受審、是為死人復活的道理。
  2. 腓力斯本是詳細曉得這道、就支吾他們說、且等千夫長呂西亞下來、我要審斷你們的事。
  3. 於是吩咐百夫長看守保羅、並且寬待他、也不攔阻他的親友來供給他。
  4. 過了幾天、腓力斯和他夫人猶太的女子土西拉、一同來到、就叫了保羅來、聽他講論信基督耶穌的道。
  5. 保羅講論公義、節制、和將來的審判、腓力斯甚覺恐懼、說、你暫且去罷、等我得便再叫你來。
 
 
  1. He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
  2. But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
  1. 腓力斯又指望保羅送他銀錢、所以屢次叫他來、和他談論。
  2. 過了兩年、波求非斯都接了腓力斯的任.腓力斯要討猶太人的喜歡、就留保羅在監裡。
