  1. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
  2. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
  3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
  4. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
  5. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
  1. 所以你們若真與基督一同復活、就當求在上面的事．那裡有基督坐在　神的右邊。
  2. 你們要思念上面的事、不要思念地上的事。
  3. 因為你們已經死了、你們的生命與基督一同藏在　神裡面。
  4. 基督是我們的生命、他顯現的時候、你們也要與他一同顯現在榮耀裡。
  5. 所以要治死你們在地上的肢體．就如淫亂、污穢、邪情、惡慾、和貪婪、貪婪就與拜偶像一樣。
 
 
  1. For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
  2. In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
  3. But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
  4. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
  5. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
  1. 因這些事、　神的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
  2. 當你們在這些事中活著的時候、也曾這樣行過。
  3. 但現在你們要棄絕這一切的事、以及惱恨、忿怒、惡毒、〔或作陰毒〕毀謗、並口中污穢的言語。
  4. 不要彼此說謊．因你們已經脫去舊人、和舊人的行為、
  5. 穿上了新人．這新人在知識上漸漸更新、正如造他主的形像．
 
 
  1. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
  2. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
  3. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
  4. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
  5. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
  1. 在此並不分希利尼人、猶太人、受割禮的、未受割禮的、化外人、西古提人、為奴的、自主的．惟有基督是包括一切、又住在各人之內。
  2. 所以你們既是　神的選民、聖潔蒙愛的人、就要存〔原文作穿下同〕憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔、忍耐的心。
  3. 倘若這人與那人有嫌隙、總要彼此包容、彼此饒恕．主怎樣饒恕了你們、你們也要怎樣饒恕人。
  4. 在這一切之外、要存著愛心．愛心就是聯絡全德的。
  5. 又要叫基督的平安在你們心裡作主．你們也為此蒙召、歸為一體．且要存感謝的心。
 
 
  1. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
  2. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
  3. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
  4. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
  5. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
  1. 當用各樣的智慧、把基督的道理、豐豐富富的存在心裡、〔或作當把基督的道理豐豐富富的存在心裡以各樣的智慧〕用詩章、頌詞、靈歌、彼此教導、互相勸戒心被恩感歌頌　神。
  2. 無論作甚麼、或說話、或行事、都要奉主耶穌的名、藉著他感謝父　神。
  3. 你們作妻子的、當順服自己的丈夫、這在主裡面是相宜的。
  4. 你們作丈夫的、要愛你們的妻子、不可苦待他們。
  5. 你們作兒女的、要凡事聽從父母、因為這是主所喜悅的。
 
 
  1. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
  2. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;
  3. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
  4. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
  5. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
  1. 你們作父親的、不要惹兒女的氣、恐怕他們失了志氣。
  2. 你們作僕人的、要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人、不要只在眼前事奉、像是討人喜歡的、總要存心誠實敬畏主．
  3. 無論作甚麼、都要從心裡作、像是給主作的、不是給人作的。
  4. 因你們知道從主那裡、必得著基業為賞賜．你們所事奉的乃是主基督。
  5. 那行不義的、必受不義的報應．主並不偏待人。
