  1. And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.
  2. And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.
  3. And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
  4. And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
  5. And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
  1. 亞蘭國和以色列國三年沒有爭戰。
  2. 到第三年猶大王約沙法下去見以色列王。
  3. 以色列王對臣僕說、你們不知道基列的拉末是屬我們的麼、我們豈可靜坐不動、不從亞蘭王手裡奪回來麼。
  4. 亞哈問約沙法說、你肯同我去攻取基列的拉末麼．約沙法對以色列王說、你我不分彼此、我的民與你的民一樣、我的馬與你的馬一樣。
  5. 約沙法對以色列王說、請你先求問耶和華．
 
 
  1. Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
  2. And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?
  3. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
  4. Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.
  5. And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.
  1. 於是以色列王招聚先知、約有四百人、問他們說、我上去攻取基列的拉末、可以不可以．他們說、可以上去、因為主必將那城交在王的手裡。
  2. 約沙法說、這裡不是還有耶和華的先知、我們可以求問他麼．
  3. 以色列王對約沙法說、還有一個人、是音拉的兒子米該雅、我們可以託他求問耶和華、只是我恨他、因為他指著我所說的豫言、不說吉語、單說凶言．約沙法說、王不必這樣說。
  4. 以色列王就召了一個太監來、說、你快去、將音拉的兒子米該雅召來。
  5. 以色列王和猶大王約沙法在撒瑪利亞城門前的空場上、各穿朝服、坐在位上．所有的先知都在他們面前說豫言．
 
 
  1. And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.
  2. And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.
  3. And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
  4. And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.
  5. So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
  1. 基拿拿的兒子西底家造了兩個鐵角、說、耶和華如此說、你要用這角牴觸亞蘭人、直到將他們滅盡。
  2. 所有的先知也都這樣豫言說、可以上基列的拉末去、必然得勝、因為耶和華必將那城交在王的手中。
  3. 那去召米該雅的使者對米該雅說、眾先知一口同音的都向王說吉言、你不如與他們說一樣的話、也說吉言．
  4. 米該雅說、我指著永生的耶和華起誓、耶和華對我說甚麼、我就說甚麼。
  5. 米該雅到王面前、王問他說、米該雅阿、我們上去攻取基列的拉末、可以不可以．他回答說、可以上去、必然得勝、耶和華必將那城交在王的手中。
 
 
  1. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?
  2. And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
  3. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?
  4. And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
  5. And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
  1. 王對他說、我當囑咐你幾次、你纔奉耶和華的名向我說實話呢．
  2. 米該雅說、我看見以色列眾民散在山上、如同沒有牧人的羊群一般．耶和華說、這民沒有主人、他們可以平平安安地各歸各家去。
  3. 以色列王對約沙法說、我豈沒有告訴你、這人指著我所說的豫言、不說吉語、單說凶言麼。
  4. 米該雅說、你要聽耶和華的話．我看見耶和華坐在寶座上、天上的萬軍侍立在他左右．
  5. 耶和華說、誰去引誘亞哈上基列的拉末去陣亡呢．這個就這樣說、那個就那樣說．
 
 
  1. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
  2. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persude him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
  3. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
  4. But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
  5. And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
  1. 隨後有一個神靈出來、站在耶和華面前、說、我去引誘他．
  2. 耶和華問他說、你用何法呢．他說、我去要在他眾先知口中作謊言的靈．耶和華說、這樣、你必能引誘他．你去如此行罷。
  3. 現在耶和華使謊言的靈入了你這些先知的口．並且耶和華已經命定降禍與你。
  4. 基拿拿的兒子西底家前來、打米該雅的臉、說、耶和華的靈從那裡離開我與你說話呢．
  5. 米該雅說、你進嚴密的屋子藏躲的那日、就必看見了。
 
 
  1. And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;
  2. And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.
  3. And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.
  4. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.
  5. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.
  1. 以色列王說、將米該雅帶回交給邑宰亞們和王的兒子約阿施、說、
  2. 王如此說、把這個人下在監裡、使他受苦、喫不飽喝不足、等候我平平安安的回來．
  3. 米該雅說、你若能平平安安的回來、那就是耶和華沒有藉我說這話了．又說、眾民哪、你們都要聽。
  4. 以色列王和猶大王約沙法上基列的拉末去了．
  5. 以色列王對約沙法說、我要改裝上陣．你可以仍穿王服．以色列王就改裝上陣。
 
 
  1. But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.
  2. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.
  3. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.
  4. And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
  5. And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
  1. 先是亞蘭王吩咐他的三十二個車兵長說、他們的兵將、無論大小、你們都不可與他們爭戰、只要與以色列王爭戰．
  2. 車兵長看見約沙法、便說、這必是以色列王．就轉過去與他爭戰．約沙法便呼喊。
  3. 車兵長見不是以色列王、就轉去不追他了。
  4. 有一人隨便開弓、恰巧射入以色列王的甲縫裡．王對趕車的說、我受了重傷．你轉過車來、拉我出陣罷。
  5. 那日陣勢越戰越猛．有人扶王站在車上、抵擋亞蘭人．到晚上、王就死了．血從傷處流在車中。
 
 
  1. And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.
  2. So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.
  3. And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
  5. So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.
  1. 約在日落的時候、有號令傳遍軍中、說、各歸本城、各歸本地罷。
  2. 王既死了、眾人將他送到撒瑪利亞、就葬在那裡。
  3. 又有人把他的車、洗在撒瑪利亞的池旁．（妓女在那裡洗澡）狗來餂他的血、正如耶和華所說的話。
  4. 亞哈其餘的事、凡他所行的、和他所修造的象牙宮、並所建築的一切城邑、都寫在以色列諸王記上。
  5. 亞哈與他列祖同睡．他兒子亞哈謝接續他作王。
 
 
  1. And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.
  2. Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
  3. And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.
  4. And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.
  5. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
  1. 以色列王亞哈第四年、亞撒的兒子約沙法登基作了猶大王．
  2. 約沙法登基的時候、年三十五歲、在耶路撒冷作王二十五年．他母親名叫阿蘇巴、乃示利希的女兒。
  3. 約沙法行他父親亞撒所行的道、不偏離左右、行耶和華眼中看為正的事．只是邱壇還沒有廢去、百姓仍在那裡獻祭燒香。
  4. 約沙法與以色列王和好。
  5. 約沙法其餘的事、和他所顯出的勇力、並他怎樣爭戰、都寫在猶大列王記上。
 
 
  1. And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.
  2. There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king.
  3. Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.
  4. Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.
  5. And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.
  1. 約沙法將他父親亞撒在世所剩下的孌童、都從國中除去了。
  2. 那時以東沒有王、有總督治理。
  3. 約沙法製造他施船隻、要往俄斐去、將金子運來．只是沒有去．因為船在以旬迦別破壞了。
  4. 亞哈的兒子亞哈謝對約沙法說、容我的僕人和你的僕人坐船同去罷．約沙法卻不肯。
  5. 約沙法與列祖同睡、葬在大衛城他列祖的墳地裡．他兒子約蘭接續他作王。
 
 
  1. Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.
  2. And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:
  3. For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.
  1. 猶大王約沙法十七年、亞哈的兒子亞哈謝在撒瑪利亞登基、作以色列王共二年。
  2. 他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、效法他的父母、又行尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裡的事．
  3. 他照他父親一切所行的、事奉敬拜巴力、惹耶和華以色列　神的怒氣。
