Psalms 5 [KJV:NASB]

  1. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
  2. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
  3. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
  4. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
  5. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
  1. Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my groaning.
  2. Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray.
  3. In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.
  4. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.
  5. The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.

  1. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
  2. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
  3. Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
  4. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
  5. Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
  1. You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
  2. But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.
  3. O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.
  4. There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.
  5. Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.

  1. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
  2. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
  1. But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.
  2. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
