Psalms 71 [KJV:NASB]

  1. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
  2. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
  3. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
  4. Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
  5. For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.
  1. In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.
  2. In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me.
  3. Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.
  4. Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,
  5. For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.

  1. By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
  2. I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
  3. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
  4. Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
  5. For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
  1. By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother's womb; My praise is continually of You.
  2. I have become a marvel to many, For You are my strong refuge.
  3. My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long.
  4. Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
  5. For my enemies have spoken against me; And those who watch for my life have consulted together,

  1. Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
  2. O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
  3. Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
  4. But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
  5. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
  1. Saying, "God has forsaken him; Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to deliver."
  2. O God, do not be far from me; O my God, hasten to my help!
  3. Let those who are adversaries of my soul be ashamed and consumed; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek to injure me.
  4. But as for me, I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.
  5. My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the sum of them.

  1. I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
  2. O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
  3. Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
  4. Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
  5. Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
  1. I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.
  2. O God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds.
  3. And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.
  4. For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?
  5. You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

  1. Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
  2. I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
  3. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
  4. My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
  1. May You increase my greatness And turn to comfort me.
  2. I will also praise You with a harp, Even Your truth, O my God; To You I will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.
  3. My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.
  4. My tongue also will utter Your righteousness all day long; For they are ashamed, for they are humiliated who seek my hurt.
