Psalms 118 [KJV:NIV]   
 
  1. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
  2. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
  3. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
  4. Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
  5. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
  1. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
  2. Let Israel say: "His love endures forever."
  3. Let the house of Aaron say: "His love endures forever."
  4. Let those who fear the LORD say: "His love endures forever."
  5. In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free.
 
 
  1. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
  2. The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
  3. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
  4. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
  5. All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
  1. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
  2. The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies.
  3. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
  4. It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
  5. All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.
 
 
  1. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
  2. They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
  3. Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
  4. The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
  5. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
  1. They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.
  2. They swarmed around me like bees, but they died out as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the LORD I cut them off.
  3. I was pushed back and about to fall, but the LORD helped me.
  4. The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
  5. Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: "The LORD's right hand has done mighty things!
 
 
  1. The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
  2. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
  3. The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
  4. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
  5. This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
  1. The LORD's right hand is lifted high; the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"
  2. I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
  3. The LORD has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
  4. Open for me the gates of righteousness; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.
  5. This is the gate of the LORD through which the righteous may enter.
 
 
  1. I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
  2. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
  3. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
  4. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
  5. Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
  1. I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.
  2. The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone;
  3. the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
  4. This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
  5. O LORD, save us; O LORD, grant us success.
 
 
  1. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
  2. God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
  3. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
  4. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
  1. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. From the house of the LORD we bless you.
  2. The LORD is God, and he has made his light shine upon us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar.
  3. You are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you.
  4. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
