  1. That day Jesus went out of the house and was sitting by the sea.
  2. And large crowds gathered to Him, so He got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd was standing on the beach.
  3. And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, "Behold, the sower went out to sow;
  4. and as he sowed, some seeds fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate them up.
  5. "Others fell on the rocky places, where they did not have much soil; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil.
  1. 當那一天、耶穌從房子裡出來、坐在海邊。
  2. 有許多人到他那裡聚集、他只得上船坐下．眾人都站在岸上。
  3. 他用比喻對他們講許多道理、說、有一個撒種的出去撒種．
  4. 撒的時候、有落在路旁的、飛鳥來喫盡了。
  5. 有落在土淺石頭地上的．土既不深、發苗最快．
 
 
  1. "But when the sun had risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
  2. "Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out.
  3. "And others fell on the good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.
  4. "He who has ears, let him hear."
  5. And the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?"
  1. 日頭出來一曬、因為沒有根、就枯乾了。
  2. 有落在荊棘裡的．荊棘長起來、把他擠住了。
  3. 又有落在好土裡的、就結實、有一百倍的、有六十倍的、有三十倍的。
  4. 有耳可聽的、就應當聽。
  5. 門徒進前來、問耶穌說、對眾人講話、為甚麼用比喻呢。
 
 
  1. Jesus answered them, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.
  2. "For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.
  3. "Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
  4. "In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, 'YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;
  5. FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.'
  1. 耶穌回答說、因為天國的奧秘、只叫你們知道、不叫他們知道。
  2. 凡有的、還要加給他、叫他有餘．凡沒有的、連他所有的、也要奪去。
  3. 所以我用比喻對他們講、是因他們看也看不見、聽也聽不見、也不明白。
  4. 在他們身上、正應了以賽亞的豫言、說、『你們聽是要聽見、卻不明白．看是要看見、卻不曉得．』
  5. 因為這百姓油蒙了心、耳朵發沉、眼睛閉著．恐怕眼睛看見、耳朵聽見、心裡明白、回轉過來、我就醫治他們。
 
 
  1. "But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.
  2. "For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
  3. "Hear then the parable of the sower.
  4. "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.
  5. "The one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
  1. 但你們的眼睛是有福的、因為看見了你們的耳朵也是有福的、因為聽見了。
  2. 我實在告訴你們、從前有許多先知和義人、要看你們所看的、卻沒有看見．要聽你們所聽的、卻沒有聽見。
  3. 所以你們當聽這撒種的比喻。
  4. 凡聽見天國道理不明白的、那惡者就來、把所撒在他心裡的、奪了去．這就是撒在路旁的了。
  5. 撒在石頭地上的、就是人聽了道、當下歡喜領受．
 
 
  1. yet he has no firm root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away.
  2. "And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
  3. "And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty."
  4. Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.
  5. "But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.
  1. 只因心裡沒有根、不過是暫時的．及至為道遭了患難、或是受了逼迫、立刻就跌倒了。
  2. 撒在荊棘裡的、就是人聽了道、後來有世上的思慮、錢財的迷惑、把道擠住了、不能結實。
  3. 撒在好地上的、就是人聽道明白了、後來結實、有一百倍的、有六十倍的、有三十倍的。
  4. 耶穌又設個比喻對他們說、天國好像人撒好種在田裡．
  5. 及至人睡覺的時候、有仇敵來、將稗子撒在麥子裡、就走了。
 
 
  1. "But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also.
  2. "The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'
  3. "And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?'
  4. "But he said, 'No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them.
  5. 'Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn."'"
  1. 到長苗吐穗的時候、稗子也顯出來。
  2. 田主的僕人來告訴他說、主阿、你不是撒好種在田裡麼、從那裡來的稗子呢。
  3. 主人說、這是仇敵作的。僕人說、你要我們去薅出來麼。
  4. 主人說、不必、恐怕薅稗子、連麥子也拔出來。
  5. 容這兩樣一齊長、等著收割．當收割的時候、我要對收割的人說、先將稗子薅出來、捆成捆、留著燒．惟有麥子、要收在倉裡。
 
 
  1. He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field;
  2. and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES."
  3. He spoke another parable to them, "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened."
  4. All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable.
  5. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: "I WILL OPEN MY MOUTH IN PARABLES; I WILL UTTER THINGS HIDDEN SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD."
  1. 他又設個比喻對他們說、天國好像一粒芥菜種、有人拿去種在田裡。
  2. 這原是百種裡最小的．等到長起來、卻比各樣的菜都大、且成了樹、天上的飛鳥來宿在他的枝上。
  3. 他又對他們講個比喻說、天國好像麵酵、有婦人拿來、藏在三斗麵裡、直等全團都發起來。
  4. 這都是耶穌用比喻對眾人說的話．若不用比喻、就不對他們說甚麼．
  5. 這是要應驗先知的話、說、『我要開口用比喻、把創世以來所隱藏的事發明出來。』
 
 
  1. Then He left the crowds and went into the house And His disciples came to Him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field."
  2. And He said, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
  3. and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one;
  4. and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels.
  5. "So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age.
  1. 當下耶穌離開眾人、進了房子．他的門徒進前來說、請把田間稗子的比喻、講給我們聽。
  2. 他回答說、那撒好種的、就是人子．
  3. 田地、就是世界．好種、就是天國之子．稗子、就是那惡者之子．
  4. 撒稗子的仇敵、就是魔鬼．收割的時候就、是世界的末了．收割的人就、是天使。
  5. 將稗子薅出來、用火焚燒．世界的末了、也要如此。
 
 
  1. "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,
  2. and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  3. "Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father He who has ears, let him hear.
  4. "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
  5. "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls,
  1. 人子要差遺使者、把一切叫人跌倒的、和作惡的、從他國裡挑出來、
  2. 丟在火爐裡．在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。
  3. 那時義人在他們父的國裡、要發出光來、像太陽一樣。有耳可聽的、就應當聽。
  4. 天國好像寶貝藏在地裡．人遇見了、就把他藏起來．歡歡喜喜的去變賣一切所有的、買這塊地。
  5. 天國又好像買賣人、尋找好珠子．
 
 
  1. and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.
  2. "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind;
  3. and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away.
  4. "So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous,
  5. and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
  1. 遇見一顆重價的珠子、就去變賣他一切所有的、買了這顆珠子。
  2. 天國又好像網撒在海裡、聚攏各樣水族。
  3. 網既滿了、人就拉上岸來坐下、揀好的收在器具裡、將不好的丟棄了。
  4. 世界的末了、也要這樣．天使要出來從義人中、把惡人分別出來、
  5. 丟在火爐裡．在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。
 
 
  1. "Have you understood all these things?" They said to Him, "Yes."
  2. And Jesus said to them, "Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure things new and old."
  3. When Jesus had finished these parables, He departed from there.
  4. He came to His hometown and began teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?
  5. "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
  1. 耶穌說、這一切的話你們都明白了麼．他們說、我們明白了、
  2. 他說。凡文士受教作天國的門徒、就像一個家主、從他庫裡拿出新舊的東西來。
  3. 耶穌說完了這些比喻、就離開那裡、
  4. 來到自己的家鄉、在會堂裡教訓人、甚至他們都希奇、說、這人從那裡有這等智慧、和異能呢。
  5. 這不是木匠的兒子麼．他母親不是叫馬利亞麼．他弟兄們不是叫雅各、約西、〔有古卷作約瑟〕西門、猶大麼．
 
 
  1. "And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"
  2. And they took offense at Him But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household."
  3. And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.
  1. 他妹妹們不是都在我們這裡麼．這人從那裡有這一切的事呢。
  2. 他們就厭棄他。〔厭棄他原文作因他跌倒〕耶穌對他們說、大凡先知、除了本地本家之外、沒有不被人尊敬的。
  3. 耶穌因為他們不信、就在那裡不多行異能了。
