  1. The Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Jesus, they asked Him to show them a sign from heaven.
  2. But He replied to them, "When it is evening, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.'
  3. "And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?
  4. "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and a sign will not be given it, except the sign of Jonah." And He left them and went away.
  5. And the disciples came to the other side of the sea, but they had forgotten to bring any bread.
  1. 法利賽人和撒都該人、來試探耶穌、請他從天上顯個神蹟給他們看。
  2. 耶穌回答說、晚上天發紅、你們就說、天必要晴。
  3. 早晨天發紅、又發黑、你們就說、今日必有風雨。你們知道分辨天上的氣色、倒不能分辨這時候的神蹟。
  4. 一個邪惡淫亂的世代求神蹟、除了約拿的神蹟以外、再沒有神蹟給他看．耶穌就離開他們去了。
  5. 門徒渡到那邊去、忘了帶餅。
 
 
  1. And Jesus said to them, "Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
  2. They began to discuss this among themselves, saying, "He said that because we did not bring any bread."
  3. But Jesus, aware of this, said, "You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread?
  4. "Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up?
  5. "Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets full you picked up?
  1. 耶穌對他們說、你們要謹慎、防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵。
  2. 門徒彼此議論說、這是因為我們沒有帶餅罷。
  3. 耶穌看出來、就說、你們這小信的人、為甚麼因為沒有餅彼此議論呢。
  4. 你們還不明白麼、不記得那五個餅、分給五千人、又收拾了多少籃子的零碎麼．
  5. 也不記得那七個餅、分給四千人、又收拾了多少筐子的零碎麼。
 
 
  1. "How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees."
  2. Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
  3. Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"
  4. And they said, "Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets."
  5. He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
  1. 我對你們說、要防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵、這話不是指著餅說的．你們怎麼不明白呢。
  2. 門徒這纔曉得他說的、不是叫他們防備餅的酵、乃是防備法利賽人和撒都該人的教訓。
  3. 耶穌到了該撒利亞腓立比的境內、就問門徒說、人說我人子是誰。〔有古卷無我字〕
  4. 他們說、有人說是施洗的約翰．有人說是以利亞．又有人說是耶利米、或是先知裡的一位。
  5. 耶穌說、你們說我是誰。
 
 
  1. Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
  2. And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
  3. "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
  4. "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."
  5. Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ.
  1. 西門彼得回答說、你是基督、是永生　神的兒子。
  2. 耶穌對他說、西門巴約拿、你是有福的．因為這不是屬血肉的指示你的、乃是我在天上的父指示的。
  3. 我還告訴你、你是彼得、我要把我的教會建造在這磐石上．陰間的權柄、不能勝過他。〔權柄原文作門〕
  4. 我要把天國的鑰匙給你．凡你在地上所捆綁的、在天上也要捆綁．凡你在地上所釋放的、在天上也要釋放。
  5. 當下、耶穌囑咐門徒、不可對人說他是基督。
 
 
  1. From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day.
  2. Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You."
  3. But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's."
  4. Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
  5. "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
  1. 從此耶穌纔指示門徒、他必須上耶路撒冷去、受長老祭司長文士許多的苦、並且被殺、第三日復活。
  2. 彼得就拉著他、勸他說、主阿、萬不可如此、這事必不臨到你身上。
  3. 耶穌轉過來、對彼得說、撒但退我後邊去罷．你是絆我腳的．因為你不體貼　神的意思、只體貼人的意思。
  4. 於是耶穌對門徒說、若有人要跟從我、就當捨己、背起他的十字架、來跟從我。
  5. 因為凡要救自己生命的、〔生命或作靈魂下同〕必喪掉生命．凡為我喪掉生命的、必得著生命。
 
 
  1. "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
  2. "For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.
  3. "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."
  1. 人若賺得全世界、賠上自己的生命、有甚麼益處呢．人還能拿甚麼換生命呢。
  2. 人子要在他父的榮耀裡、同著眾使者降臨．那時候、他要照各人的行為報應各人。
  3. 我實在告訴你們、站在這裡的、有人在沒嘗死味以前、必看見人子降臨在他的國裡。
