  1. Now Korah the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took action,
  2. and they rose up before Moses, together with some of the sons of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, chosen in the assembly, men of renown.
  3. They assembled together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, "You have gone far enough, for all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is in their midst; so why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the LORD?"
  4. When Moses heard this, he fell on his face;
  5. and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, "Tomorrow morning the LORD will show who is His, and who is holy, and will bring him near to Himself; even the one whom He will choose, He will bring near to Himself.
  1. 利未的曾孫、哥轄的孫子、以斯哈的兒子可拉、和流便子孫中以利押的兒子大坍、亞比蘭、與比勒的兒子安、
  2. 並以色列會中的二百五十個首領、就是有名望選入會中的人、在摩西面前一同起來。
  3. 聚集攻擊摩西、亞倫、說、你們擅自專權、全會眾個個既是聖潔、耶和華也在他們中間、你們為甚麼自高超過耶和華的會眾呢。
  4. 摩西聽見這話就俯伏在地、
  5. 對可拉和他一黨的人說、到了早晨、耶和華必指示誰是屬他的、誰是聖潔的、就叫誰親近他、他所揀選的是誰、必叫誰親近他。
 
 
  1. "Do this: take censers for yourselves, Korah and all your company,
  2. and put fire in them, and lay incense upon them in the presence of the LORD tomorrow; and the man whom the LORD chooses shall be the one who is holy. You have gone far enough, you sons of Levi!"
  3. Then Moses said to Korah, "Hear now, you sons of Levi,
  4. is it not enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the rest of the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;
  5. and that He has brought you near, Korah, and all your brothers, sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking for the priesthood also?
  1. 可拉阿、你們要這樣行、你和你的一黨要拿香爐來。
  2. 明日在耶和華面前、把火盛在爐中、把香放在其上．耶和華揀選誰、誰就為聖潔．你們這利未的子孫擅自專權了。
  3. 摩西又對可拉說、利未的子孫哪、你們聽我說．
  4. 以色列的　神從以色列會中將你們分別出來、使你們親近他、辦耶和華帳幕的事、並站在會眾面前替他們當差。
  5. 耶和華又使你、和你一切弟兄利未的子孫、一同親近他、這豈為小事、你們還要求祭司的職任麼。
 
 
  1. "Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD; but as for Aaron, who is he that you grumble against him?"
  2. Then Moses sent a summons to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; but they said, "We will not come up.
  3. "Is it not enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to have us die in the wilderness, but you would also lord it over us?
  4. "Indeed, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor have you given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards Would you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!"
  5. Then Moses became very angry and said to the LORD, "Do not regard their offering! I have not taken a single donkey from them, nor have I done harm to any of them."
  1. 你和你一黨的人聚集、是要攻擊耶和華、亞倫算甚麼。你們竟向他發怨言呢。
  2. 摩西打發人去召以利押的兒子大坍、亞比蘭、。他們說、我們不上去。
  3. 你將我們從流奶與蜜之地領上來、要在曠野殺我們、這豈為小事、你還要自立為王轄管我們麼。
  4. 並且你沒有將我們領到流奶與蜜之地、也沒有把田地和葡萄園、給我們為業．難道你要剜這些人的眼睛麼。我們不上去。
  5. 摩西就甚發怒、對耶和華說、求你不要享受他們的供物、我並沒有奪過他們一匹驢、也沒有害過他們一個人。
 
 
  1. Moses said to Korah, "You and all your company be present before the LORD tomorrow, both you and they along with Aaron.
  2. "Each of you take his firepan and put incense on it, and each of you bring his censer before the LORD, two hundred and fifty firepans; also you and Aaron shall each bring his firepan."
  3. So they each took his own censer and put fire on it, and laid incense on it; and they stood at the doorway of the tent of meeting, with Moses and Aaron.
  4. Thus Korah assembled all the congregation against them at the doorway of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation.
  5. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
  1. 摩西對可拉說、明天你和你一黨的人、並亞倫、都要站在耶和華面前。
  2. 各人要拿一個香爐、共二百五十個、把香放在上面、到耶和華面前。你和亞倫、也各拿自己的香爐。
  3. 於是他們各人拿一個香爐、盛上火、加上香、同摩西、亞倫站在會幕門前。
  4. 可拉招聚全會眾到會幕門前、要攻擊摩西、亞倫耶和華的榮光就向全會眾顯現。
  5. 耶和華曉諭摩西亞倫說、
 
 
  1. "Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly."
  2. But they fell on their faces and said, "O God, God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?"
  3. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  4. "Speak to the congregation, saying, 'Get back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.'"
  5. Then Moses arose and went to Dathan and Abiram, with the elders of Israel following him,
  1. 你們離開這會眾、我好在轉眼之間把他們滅絕。
  2. 摩西、亞倫就俯伏在地、說、　神、萬人之靈的　神阿、一人犯罪、你就要向全會眾發怒麼。
  3. 耶和華曉諭摩西說、
  4. 你吩咐會眾說、你們離開可拉、大坍、亞比蘭帳棚的四圍。
  5. 摩西起來、往大坍、亞比蘭那裡去、以色列的長老也隨著他去。
 
 
  1. and he spoke to the congregation, saying, "Depart now from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing that belongs to them, or you will be swept away in all their sin."
  2. So they got back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the doorway of their tents, along with their wives and their sons and their little ones.
  3. Moses said, "By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these deeds; for this is not my doing.
  4. "If these men die the death of all men or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.
  5. "But if the LORD brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned the LORD."
  1. 他吩咐會眾說、你們離開這惡人的帳棚罷．他們的物件、甚麼都不可摸、恐怕你們陷在他們的罪中、與他們一同消滅。
  2. 於是眾人離開可拉、大坍、亞比蘭帳棚的四圍．大坍、亞比蘭、帶著妻子、兒女、小孩子、都出來站在自己的帳棚門口。
  3. 摩西說、我行的這一切事、本不是憑我自己心意行的、乃是耶和華打發我行的、必有證據使你們知道。
  4. 這些人死、若與世人無異、或是他們所遭的、與世人相同、就不是耶和華打發我來的。
  5. 倘若耶和華創作一件新事、使地開口、把他們和一切屬他們的都吞下去、叫他們活活的墜落陰間、你們就明白這些人是藐視耶和華了。
 
 
  1. As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open;
  2. and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who belonged to Korah with their possessions.
  3. So they and all that belonged to them went down alive to Sheol; and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
  4. All Israel who were around them fled at their outcry, for they said, "The earth may swallow us up!"
  5. Fire also came forth from the LORD and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering the incense.
  1. 摩西剛說完了這一切話、他們腳下的地就開了口、
  2. 把他們和他們的家眷、並一切屬可拉的人丁、財物、都吞下去。
  3. 這樣、他們和一切屬他們的、都活活地墜落陰間、地口在他們上頭照舊合閉、他們就從會中滅亡。
  4. 在他們四圍的以色列眾人聽他們呼號、就都逃跑、說、恐怕地也把我們吞下去。
  5. 又有火從耶和華那裡出來、燒滅了那獻香的二百五十個人。
 
 
  1. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  2. "Say to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, that he shall take up the censers out of the midst of the blaze, for they are holy; and you scatter the burning coals abroad.
  3. "As for the censers of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives, let them be made into hammered sheets for a plating of the altar, since they did present them before the LORD and they are holy; and they shall be for a sign to the sons of Israel."
  4. So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers which the men who were burned had offered, and they hammered them out as a plating for the altar,
  5. as a reminder to the sons of Israel that no layman who is not of the descendants of Aaron should come near to burn incense before the LORD; so that he will not become like Korah and his company--just as the LORD had spoken to him through Moses.
  1. 耶和華曉諭摩西說、
  2. 你吩咐祭司亞倫的兒子以利亞撒、從火中撿起那些香爐來、把火撒在別處、因為那些香爐是聖的。
  3. 把那些犯罪．自害己命之人的香爐、叫人錘成片子、用以包壇．那些香爐本是他們在耶和華面前獻過的、所以是聖的．並且可以給以色列人作記號．
  4. 於是祭司以利亞撒、將被燒之人所獻的銅香爐拿來、人就錘出來用以包壇．
  5. 給以色列人作紀念、使亞倫後裔之外的人、不得近前來、在耶和華面前燒香、免得他遭可拉和他一黨所遭的．這乃是照耶和華藉著摩西所吩咐的。
 
 
  1. But on the next day all the congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, saying, "You are the ones who have caused the death of the LORD'S people."
  2. It came about, however, when the congregation had assembled against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tent of meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it and the glory of the LORD appeared.
  3. Then Moses and Aaron came to the front of the tent of meeting,
  4. and the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  5. "Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly." Then they fell on their faces.
  1. 第二天、以色列全會眾都向摩西亞倫發怨言、說、你們殺了耶和華的百姓了。
  2. 會眾聚集攻擊摩西亞倫的時候、向會幕觀看、不料、有雲彩遮蓋了、耶和華的榮光顯現。
  3. 摩西、亞倫就來到會幕前。
  4. 耶和華吩咐摩西說、
  5. 你們離開這會眾、我好在轉眼之間把他們滅絕．他們二人就俯伏於地。
 
 
  1. Moses said to Aaron, "Take your censer and put in it fire from the altar, and lay incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone forth from the LORD, the plague has begun!"
  2. Then Aaron took it as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly, for behold, the plague had begun among the people. So he put on the incense and made atonement for the people.
  3. He took his stand between the dead and the living, so that the plague was checked.
  4. But those who died by the plague were 14,700, besides those who died on account of Korah.
  5. Then Aaron returned to Moses at the doorway of the tent of meeting, for the plague had been checked.
  1. 摩西對亞倫說、拿你的香爐、把壇上的火盛在其中、又加上香、快快帶到會眾那裡、為他們贖罪、因為有忿怒從耶和華那裡出來、瘟疫已經發作了。
  2. 亞倫照著摩西所說的拿來、跑到會中、不料、瘟疫在百姓中已經發作了．他就加上香、為百姓贖罪。
  3. 他站在活人死人中間、瘟疫就止住了。
  4. 除了因可拉事情死的以外、遭瘟疫死的、共有一萬四千七百人。
  5. 亞倫回到會幕門口、到摩西那裡、瘟疫已經止住了。
