  1. These are the journeys of the sons of Israel, by which they came out from the land of Egypt by their armies, under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
  2. Moses recorded their starting places according to their journeys by the command of the LORD, and these are their journeys according to their starting places.
  3. They journeyed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover the sons of Israel started out boldly in the sight of all the Egyptians,
  4. while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn whom the LORD had struck down among them. The LORD had also executed judgments on their gods.
  5. Then the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses and camped in Succoth.
  1. These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
  2. And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
  3. And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.
  4. For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
  5. And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from Succoth and camped in Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.
  2. They journeyed from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which faces Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol.
  3. They journeyed from before Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness; and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.
  4. They journeyed from Marah and came to Elim; and in Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
  5. They journeyed from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
  1. And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
  2. And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.
  3. And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
  4. And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
  5. And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from the Red Sea and camped in the wilderness of Sin.
  2. They journeyed from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
  3. They journeyed from Dophkah and camped at Alush.
  4. They journeyed from Alush and camped at Rephidim; now it was there that the people had no water to drink.
  5. They journeyed from Rephidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai.
  1. And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
  2. And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
  3. And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.
  4. And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.
  5. And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth-hattaavah.
  2. They journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.
  3. They journeyed from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
  4. They journeyed from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon-perez.
  5. They journeyed from Rimmon-perez and camped at Libnah.
  1. And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibrothhattaavah.
  2. And they departed from Kibrothhattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.
  3. And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.
  4. And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.
  5. And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from Libnah and camped at Rissah.
  2. They journeyed from Rissah and camped in Kehelathah.
  3. They journeyed from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
  4. They journeyed from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
  5. They journeyed from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
  1. And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.
  2. And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.
  3. And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.
  4. And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.
  5. And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
  2. They journeyed from Tahath and camped at Terah.
  3. They journeyed from Terah and camped at Mithkah.
  4. They journeyed from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.
  5. They journeyed from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.
  1. And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.
  2. And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.
  3. And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.
  4. And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.
  5. And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from Moseroth and camped at Bene-jaakan.
  2. They journeyed from Bene-jaakan and camped at Hor-haggidgad.
  3. They journeyed from Hor-haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
  4. They journeyed from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
  5. They journeyed from Abronah and camped at Ezion-geber.
  1. And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Benejaakan.
  2. And they removed from Benejaakan, and encamped at Horhagidgad.
  3. And they went from Horhagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.
  4. And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.
  5. And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Eziongaber.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from Ezion-geber and camped in the wilderness of Zin, that is, Kadesh.
  2. They journeyed from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, at the edge of the land of Edom.
  3. Then Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the command of the LORD, and died there in the fortieth year after the sons of Israel had come from the land of Egypt, on the first day in the fifth month.
  4. Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
  5. Now the Canaanite, the king of Arad who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the sons of Israel.
  1. And they removed from Eziongaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
  2. And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
  3. And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
  4. And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
  5. And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
 
 
  1. Then they journeyed from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
  2. They journeyed from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
  3. They journeyed from Punon and camped at Oboth.
  4. They journeyed from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim, at the border of Moab.
  5. They journeyed from Iyim and camped at Dibon-gad.
  1. And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.
  2. And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.
  3. And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.
  4. And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ijeabarim, in the border of Moab.
  5. And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibongad.
 
 
  1. They journeyed from Dibon-gad and camped at Almon-diblathaim.
  2. They journeyed from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
  3. They journeyed from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.
  4. They camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
  5. Then the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
  1. And they removed from Dibongad, and encamped in Almondiblathaim.
  2. And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
  3. And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
  4. And they pitched by Jordan, from Bethjesimoth even unto Abelshittim in the plains of Moab.
  5. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
 
 
  1. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you cross over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
  2. then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images and demolish all their high places;
  3. and you shall take possession of the land and live in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it.
  4. 'You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger you shall give more inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give less inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to anyone, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
  5. 'But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall come about that those whom you let remain of them will become as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will trouble you in the land in which you live.
  1. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
  2. Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
  3. And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
  4. And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
  5. But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
 
 
  1. 'And as I plan to do to them, so I will do to you.'"
  1. Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
