Psalms 116 [NASB:NIV]   
 
  1. I love the LORD, because He hears My voice and my supplications.
  2. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
  3. The cords of death encompassed me And the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.
  4. Then I called upon the name of the LORD: "O LORD, I beseech You, save my life!"
  5. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate.
  1. I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
  2. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
  3. The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
  4. Then I called on the name of the LORD : "O LORD, save me!"
  5. The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.
 
 
  1. The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
  2. Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
  3. For You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, My feet from stumbling.
  4. I shall walk before the LORD In the land of the living.
  5. I believed when I said, "I am greatly afflicted."
  1. The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me.
  2. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.
  3. For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling,
  4. that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
  5. I believed; therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted."
 
 
  1. I said in my alarm, "All men are liars."
  2. What shall I render to the LORD For all His benefits toward me?
  3. I shall lift up the cup of salvation And call upon the name of the LORD.
  4. I shall pay my vows to the LORD, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people.
  5. Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His godly ones.
  1. And in my dismay I said, "All men are liars."
  2. How can I repay the LORD for all his goodness to me?
  3. I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.
  4. I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.
  5. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
 
 
  1. O LORD, surely I am Your servant, I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid, You have loosed my bonds.
  2. To You I shall offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of the LORD.
  3. I shall pay my vows to the LORD, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,
  4. In the courts of the LORD'S house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
  1. O LORD, truly I am your servant; I am your servant, the son of your maidservant ; you have freed me from my chains.
  2. I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD.
  3. I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people,
  4. in the courts of the house of the LORD-- in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.
