Amos 8 [NASB:繁體]   
 
  1. Thus the Lord GOD showed me, and behold, there was a basket of summer fruit.
  2. He said, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit " Then the LORD said to me, "The end has come for My people Israel I will spare them no longer.
  3. "The songs of the palace will turn to wailing in that day," declares the Lord GOD "Many will be the corpses; in every place they will cast them forth in silence."
  4. Hear this, you who trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land,
  5. saying, "When will the new moon be over, So that we may sell grain, And the sabbath, that we may open the wheat market, To make the bushel smaller and the shekel bigger, And to cheat with dishonest scales,
  1. 主耶和華又指示我一件事．我看見一筐夏天的果子。
  2. 他說、阿摩司阿、你看見甚麼．我說、看見一筐夏天的果子．耶和華說、我民以色列的結局到了．我必不再寬恕他們。
  3. 主耶和華說、那日殿中的詩歌變為哀號．必有許多屍首在各處拋棄、無人作聲。
  4. 你們這些要吞喫窮乏人、使困苦人衰敗的、當聽我的話．
  5. 你們說、月朔幾時過去、我們好賣糧．安息日幾時過去、我們好擺開麥子、賣出用小升斗、收銀用大戥子、用詭詐的天平欺哄人．
 
 
  1. So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?"
  2. The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds.
  3. "Because of this will not the land quake And everyone who dwells in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt.
  4. "It will come about in that day," declares the Lord GOD, "That I will make the sun go down at noon And make the earth dark in broad daylight.
  5. "Then I will turn your festivals into mourning And all your songs into lamentation; And I will bring sackcloth on everyone's loins And baldness on every head And I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, And the end of it will be like a bitter day.
  1. 好用銀子買貧寒人、用一雙鞋換窮乏人、將壞了的麥子賣給人。
  2. 耶和華指著雅各的榮耀起誓、說、他們的一切行為、我必永遠不忘。
  3. 地豈不因這事震動、其上的居民不也悲哀麼。地必全然像尼羅河漲起、如同埃及河湧上落下。
  4. 主耶和華說、到那日、我必使日頭在午間落下、使地在白晝黑暗。
  5. 我必使你們的節期變為悲哀、歌曲變為哀歌．眾人腰束麻布、頭上光禿．使這場悲哀如喪獨生子、至終如痛苦的日子一樣。
 
 
  1. "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the LORD.
  2. "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, But they will not find it.
  3. "In that day the beautiful virgins And the young men will faint from thirst.
  4. "As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan,' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives,' They will fall and not rise again."
  1. 主耶和華說、日子將到、我必命飢荒降在地上．人飢餓非因無餅、乾渴非因無水、乃因不聽耶和華的話。
  2. 他們必飄流、從這海到那海、從北邊到東邊、往來奔跑尋求耶和華的話、卻尋不著。
  3. 當那日、美貌的處女、和少年的男子必因乾渴發昏。
  4. 那指著撒瑪利亞牛犢〔原文作罪〕起誓的說、但哪、我們指著你那裡的活神起誓．又說、我們指著別是巴的神道〔神原文作活〕起誓．這些人都必仆倒、永不再起來。
