Jeremiah 40 [NASB:简体]   
 
  1. The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD after Nebuzaradan captain of the bodyguard had released him from Ramah, when he had taken him bound in chains among all the exiles of Jerusalem and Judah who were being exiled to Babylon.
  2. Now the captain of the bodyguard had taken Jeremiah and said to him, "The LORD your God promised this calamity against this place;
  3. and the LORD has brought it on and done just as He promised. Because you people sinned against the LORD and did not listen to His voice, therefore this thing has happened to you.
  4. "But now, behold, I am freeing you today from the chains which are on your hands If you would prefer to come with me to Babylon, come along, and I will look after you; but if you would prefer not to come with me to Babylon, never mind Look, the whole land is before you; go wherever it seems good and right for you to go."
  5. As Jeremiah was still not going back, he said, "Go on back then to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the cities of Judah, and stay with him among the people; or else go anywhere it seems right for you to go " So the captain of the bodyguard gave him a ration and a gift and let him go.
  1. 耶利米锁在耶路撒冷和犹大被掳到巴比伦的人中，护卫长尼布撒拉旦将他从拉玛释放以后，耶和华的话临到耶利米。
  2. 护卫长将耶利米叫来，对他说，耶和华你的神曾说要降这祸与此地。
  3. 耶和华使这祸临到，照他所说的行了。因为你们得罪耶和华，没有听从他的话，所以这事临到你们。
  4. 现在我解开你手上的链子，你若看与我同往巴比伦去好，就可以去，我必厚待你。你若看与我同往巴比伦去不好，就不必去。看哪，全地在你面前，你以为哪里美好，哪里合宜，只管上那里去吧。
  5. 耶利米还没有回去，护卫长说，你可以回到沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利那里去。现在巴比伦王立他作犹大城邑的省长。你可以在他那里住在民中，不然，你看那里合宜就可以上那里去。于是护卫长送他粮食和礼物，释放他去了。
 
 
  1. Then Jeremiah went to Mizpah to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam and stayed with him among the people who were left in the land.
  2. Now all the commanders of the forces that were in the field, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam over the land and that he had put him in charge of the men, women and children, those of the poorest of the land who had not been exiled to Babylon.
  3. So they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah, along with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of the Maacathite, both they and their men.
  4. Then Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying, "Do not be afraid of serving the Chaldeans; stay in the land and serve the king of Babylon, that it may go well with you.
  5. "Now as for me, behold, I am going to stay at Mizpah to stand for you before the Chaldeans who come to us; but as for you, gather in wine and summer fruit and oil and put them in your storage vessels, and live in your cities that you have taken over."
  1. 耶利米就到米斯巴见亚希甘的儿子基大利，在他那里住在境内剩下的民中。
  2. 在田野的一切军长，和属他们的人，听见巴比伦王立了亚希甘的儿子基大利作境内的省长，并将没有掳到巴比伦的男人，妇女，孩童，和境内极穷的人全交给他。
  3. 于是军长尼探雅的儿子以实玛利，加利亚的两个儿子约哈难和约拿单，单户篾的儿子西莱雅，并尼陀法人以斐的众子，玛迦人的儿子耶撒尼亚和属他们的人，都到米斯巴见基大利。
  4. 沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利向他们和属他们的人起誓说，不要怕服事迦勒底人，只管住在这地，服事巴比伦王，就可以得福。
  5. 至于我，我要住在米斯巴，伺候那到我们这里来的迦勒底人。只是你们当积蓄酒，油，和夏天的果子，收在器皿里，住在你们所占的城邑中。
 
 
  1. Likewise, also all the Jews who were in Moab and among the sons of Ammon and in Edom and who were in all the other countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant for Judah, and that he had appointed over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan.
  2. Then all the Jews returned from all the places to which they had been driven away and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah at Mizpah, and gathered in wine and summer fruit in great abundance.
  3. Now Johanan the son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces that were in the field came to Gedaliah at Mizpah
  4. and said to him, "Are you well aware that Baalis the king of the sons of Ammon has sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to take your life?" But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam did not believe them.
  5. Then Johanan the son of Kareah spoke secretly to Gedaliah in Mizpah, saying, "Let me go and kill Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and not a man will know! Why should he take your life, so that all the Jews who are gathered to you would be scattered and the remnant of Judah would perish?"
  1. 在摩押地和亚扪人中，在以东地和各国的一切犹大人，听见巴比伦王留下些犹大人，并立沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利管理他们。
  2. 这一切犹大人就从所赶到的各处回来，到犹大地米斯巴的基大利那里，又积蓄了许多的酒，并夏天的果子。
  3. 加利亚的儿子约哈难和在田野的一切军长来到米斯巴见基大利，
  4. 对他说，亚扪人的王巴利斯打发尼探雅的儿子以实玛利来要你的命，你知道麽。亚希甘的儿子基大利却不信他们的话。
  5. 加利亚的儿子约哈难在米斯巴私下对基大利说，求你容我去杀尼探雅的儿子以实玛利，必无人知道。何必让他要你的命，使聚集到你这里来的犹大人都分散，以致犹大剩下的人都灭亡呢？
 
 
  1. But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said to Johanan the son of Kareah, "Do not do this thing, for you are telling a lie about Ishmael."
  1. 亚希甘的儿子基大利对加利亚的儿子约哈难说，你不可行这事，你所论以实玛利的话是假的。
