  1. 耶和华的话临到我说，
  2. 人子阿，葡萄树比别样树有什么强处。葡萄枝比众树枝有什么好处。
  3. 其上可以取木料作什么工用，可以取来作钉子挂什么器皿麽。
  4. 看哪，已经抛在火中当作柴烧，火既烧了两头，中间也被烧了，还有益于工用麽。
  5. 完全的时候尚且不合乎什么工用，何况被火烧坏，还能合乎什么工用麽。
  1. The word of the LORD came to me:
  2. "Son of man, how is the wood of a vine better than that of a branch on any of the trees in the forest?
  3. Is wood ever taken from it to make anything useful? Do they make pegs from it to hang things on?
  4. And after it is thrown on the fire as fuel and the fire burns both ends and chars the middle, is it then useful for anything?
  5. If it was not useful for anything when it was whole, how much less can it be made into something useful when the fire has burned it and it is charred?
 
 
  1. 所以，主耶和华如此说，众树以内的葡萄树，我怎样使它在火中当柴，也必照样待耶路撒冷的居民。
  2. 我必向他们变脸。他们虽从火中出来，火却要烧灭他们。我向他们变脸的时候，你们就知道我是耶和华。
  3. 我必使地土荒凉，因为他们行事干犯我。这是主耶和华说的。
  1. "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: As I have given the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest as fuel for the fire, so will I treat the people living in Jerusalem.
  2. I will set my face against them. Although they have come out of the fire, the fire will yet consume them. And when I set my face against them, you will know that I am the LORD.
  3. I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign LORD."
