  1. 耶和华的话临到毗土珥的儿子约珥。
  2. 老年人哪，当听我的话。国中的居民哪，都要侧耳而听。在你们的日子，或你们列祖的日子，曾有这样的事麽。
  3. 你们要将这事传与子，子传与孙，孙传与后代。
  4. 剪虫剩下的，蝗虫来吃。蝗虫剩下的，蝻子来吃。蝻子剩下的，蚂蚱来吃。
  5. 酒醉的人哪，要清醒哭泣。好酒的人哪，都要为甜酒哀号。因为从你们的口中断绝了。
  1. The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
  2. Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
  3. Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.
  4. That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.
  5. Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
 
 
  1. 有一队蝗虫（原文是民）又强盛又无数，侵犯我的地。它的牙齿如狮子的牙齿，大牙如母狮的大牙。
  2. 它毁坏我的葡萄树，剥了我无花果树的皮，剥尽而丢弃，使枝条露白。
  3. 我的民哪，你当哀号，像处女腰束麻布，为幼年的丈夫哀号。
  4. 素祭和奠祭从耶和华的殿中断绝。事奉耶和华的祭司都悲哀。
  5. 田荒凉，地悲哀，因为五谷毁坏，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。
  1. For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
  2. He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
  3. Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
  4. The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn.
  5. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
 
 
  1. 农夫阿，你们要惭愧，修理葡萄园的阿，你们要哀号，因为大麦小麦，与田间的庄稼，都灭绝了。
  2. 葡萄树枯乾，无花果树衰残。石榴树，棕树，苹果树，连田野一切的树木，也都枯乾。众人的喜乐尽都消灭。
  3. 祭司阿，你们当腰束麻布痛哭。伺候祭坛的阿，你们要哀号。事奉我神的阿，你们要来披上麻布过夜。因为素祭，和奠祭，从你们神的殿中断绝了。
  4. 你们要分定禁食的日子，宣告严肃会，招聚长老，和国中的一切居民，到耶和华你们神的殿，向耶和华哀求。
  5. 哀哉，耶和华的日子临近了。这日来到，好像毁灭从全能者来到。
  1. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
  2. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
  3. Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
  4. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
  5. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
 
 
  1. 粮食不是在我们眼前断绝了麽。欢喜快乐不是从我们神的殿中止息了麽。
  2. 谷种在土块下朽烂。仓也荒凉，廪也破坏。因为五谷枯乾了。
  3. 牲畜哀呜，牛群混乱，因为无草。羊群也受了困苦。
  4. 耶和华阿，我向你求告。因为火烧灭旷野的草场，火焰烧尽田野的树木。
  5. 田野的走兽向你发喘。因为溪水乾涸，火也烧灭旷野的草场。
  1. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
  2. The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
  3. How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
  4. O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.
  5. The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
