- 어린 양이 일곱째 봉인을 떼셨을 때에 약 반 시간 동안 하늘에는 침묵이 흘렀습니다.
- 그리고 나는 하느님 앞에 서 있는 일곱 천사를 보았는데 그들은 나팔을 하나씩 가지고 있었습니다.
- 다른 천사 하나가 금향로를 들고 제단 앞에 와 섰습니다. 그 천사는 모든 성도들의 기도를 향에 섞어서 옥좌 앞에 있는 황금제단에 드리려고 많은 향을 받아들었습니다.
- 그러자 그 천사의 손으로부터 향의 연기가 성도들의 기도와 함께 하느님 앞으로 올라갔습니다.
- 그 뒤에 그 천사는 향로를 가져다가 거기에 제단 불을 가득히 담아서 땅에 던졌습니다. 그러자 천둥과 요란한 소리와 번개와 지진이 일어났습니다.

- When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
- And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
- Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne.
- The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand.
- Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

- 그 때 나팔을 가진 일곱 천사가 나팔을 불 채비를 차렸습니다.
- 첫째 천사가 나팔을 불었습니다. 그러자 우박과 불덩어리가 피범벅이 되어서 땅에 던져져 땅의 삼분의 일이 타고 나무의 삼분의 일이 탔으며 푸른 풀이 모두 타버렸습니다.
- 둘째 천사가 나팔을 불었습니다. 그러자 불붙는 큰 산과 같은 것이 바다에 던져져서 바닷물의 삼분의 일이 피가 되고
- 바다 속에 사는 피조물의 삼분의 일이 죽고 모든 선박의 삼분의 일이 산산조각이 났습니다.
- 셋째 천사가 나팔을 불었습니다. 그러자 하늘로부터 큰 별 하나가 횃불처럼 타면서 떨어져 모든 강의 삼분의 일과 샘물들을 덮쳤습니다.

- Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
- The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
- The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood,
- a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
- The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water--

- 그 별의 이름은 쑥이라고 합니다. 그 바람에 물의 삼분의 일이 쑥이 되고 많은 사람이 그 쓴 물을 마시고 죽었습니다.
- 넷째 천사가 나팔을 불었습니다. 그러자 태양의 삼분의 일과 달의 삼분의 일과 별들의 삼분의 일이 타격을 받아 그것들의 삼분의 일이 어두워졌으며 낮의 삼분의 일이 빛을 잃고 밤의 삼분의 일도 마찬가지로 빛을 잃었습니다.
- 나는 또 독수리 한 마리가 하늘 한가운데서 날아다니는 것을 보았고 그것이 큰소리로 "화를 입으리라. 화를 입으리라. 땅 위에 사는 자들은 화를 입으리라. 아직도 천사들이 불 나팔 소리가 셋이나 남아 있다!" 하고 외치는 것을 들었습니다.
