미가

  미가는 북이스라엘과 남유다를 향해 예언한 선지자로, 요담 말기부터 히스기야 시대까지 활동한 것으로 보인다. 당시 앗수르는 디글랏 빌레셋 3세가 왕위에 올라 남진 정책을 폈다. 이로 인해 북이스라엘과 남유다는 앗수르의 침략 위협에 직면하고 있었다. 이러한 상황에서 남유다와 북이스라엘에는 국력을 정비하는 일이 무엇보다도 급선무였다. 그러나 그들은 국력을 정비하기보다는 정치적, 사회적, 종교적, 도덕적으로 더욱 타락해 가는 양상을 보였다. 이러한 상황에서 미가는 남북 왕국의 멸망과 그 후에 있을 하나님의 구원을 전하기 위해 본서를 기록하였다.

  본서는 하나님을 격노케 한 사마리아와 예루살렘의 죄상을 고발하고 하나님의 심판이 이미 정해졌음을 경고하며 그들의 회개를 촉구하고 있다. 또한 다윗의 언약이 장차 메시아 왕국의 도래로 인해 성취될 것임을 예언함으로써 소망을 주고 있다.

 

 

미가 1:1-3:12

 미가는 하나님의 말씀에 따라 전 이스라엘을 향해 심판을 선포하고 사마리아의 멸망을 예언하였다. 그는 약하고 가난한 자를 억압한 권세자들의 죄와 참선지자의 예언보다 자신의 뜻에 맞춰 주는 거짓 선지자의 말을 청종했던 백성들의 죄를 책망한 후, 예루살렘과 성전의 파괴를 예언하였다.
  
  이스라엘의 심판(1:1-3:12)    
 
  1. 야훼께서 사마리아와 예루살렘이 어찌 될 것인지를 모레셋 사람 미가에게 보이시면서 하신 말씀이다. 때는 유다 왕 요담과 아하즈와 히즈키야의 시대였다.
  2. 만민들아, 들어라. 만물들아, 귀를 기울여라. 주 야훼께서 너희 죄상을 밝히려고 당신 전을 나서신다.
  3. 보아라. 야훼께서 당신 처소를 나오시어 이 땅 높은 곳에 내려와 서시니
  4. 산들이 그 발 밑에서 녹고 골짜기가 갈라진다. 불 앞에 녹아내리는 초와 같고 벼랑에 쏟아져 내리는 물과 같구나.
  5. 이 모두가 거역하기만 하던 야곱의 죄 탓이다. 못할 짓만 하던 이스라엘 가문의 죄 탓이다. 거역하기만 하던 야곱의 죄, 그것은 누구의 짓이냐? 사마리아의 짓이 아니더냐? 못할 짓만 하던 유다 가문의 죄, 그것이 누구의 짓이냐? 예루살렘의 짓이 아니더냐?
  1. The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
  2. Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.
  3. For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
  4. And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
  5. For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
  1. 그래서 나는 사마리아를 포도나 심어 먹는 허허벌판에 돌더미로 만들어버리리라. 돌들은 골짜기에 굴러 떨어지고, 성터는 바닥이 드러나리라.
  2. 그 곳의 우상을 모조리 부수어버리리라. 아로새긴 우상들은 산산조각이 나고 몸값으로 받았던 것들은 모두 불타리라. 몸값으로 받아 모은 것들이니, 다시 몸값으로 돌아가리라.
  3. 나는 벌거벗은 채 맨발로 돌아다니며 가슴을 치고 울어야겠구나. 여우처럼 구슬피 울고 타조처럼 애처롭게 울어야겠구나.
  4. 사마리아가 천벌로 받은 불치병이 유다에까지 번져와, 기어이 예루살렘에 다다랐다.
  5. 이 일을 갓에 알리지 마라. 울부짖지 마라. 베들레아브라에서 먼지나 들쓰고 뒹굴어라.
  1. Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
  2. And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
  3. Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
  4. For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
  5. Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
  1. 사빌 주민들은 뿔나팔이나 불어라. 사아난 주민들은 성읍에 갇히고 베데델 성은 튼튼히 앉힌 기초까지 헐리리라.
  2. 마롯 주민들이 어찌 행운을 바라겠느냐? 야훼께서 내리신 재난이 예루살렘 성문에 다다랐다.
  3. 라기스 주민은 병거에 말이나 매려무나. 수도 시온의 죄가 여기에서 시작되었다. 거역하기만 하던 이스라엘의 죄가 너 라기스에서 드러나고야 말았다.
  4. 모레셋갓에게는 이혼장을 주어라. 이스라엘 왕들은 베닥집을 믿다가 헛물만 켜겠구나!
  5. 마레사 주민들아, 침략자들이 너에게 다시 달려들리라. 이스라엘의 영광은 아둘람에 이르러 꺼지고 말리라.
  1. Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
  2. For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
  3. O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
  4. Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
  5. Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
  1. 귀여워하던 자녀를 생각하여 머리 빠진 독수리처럼 머리를 밀어라. 네 자녀가 너를 두고 사로잡혀 가게 되었다.
  1. Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
 
 
  1. 망할 것들! 권력이나 쥐었다고 자리에 들면 못된 일만 꾸몄다가 아침 밝기가 무섭게 해치우고 마는 이 악당들아,
  2. 탐나는 밭이 있으면 빼앗고 탐나는 집을 만나면 제 것으로 만들어 그 집과 함께 임자도 종으로 삼고 밭과 함께 밭 주인도 부려먹는구나.
  3. 나 야훼가 선언한다. 나 이제 이런 자들에게 재앙을 내리리라. 거기에서 빠져 나갈 생각은 마라. 머리를 들고 다니지도 못하리라. 재앙이 내릴 때가 가까이 왔다.
  4. 그 날이 오면, 너희는 조롱을 받으며 이런 넋두리나 하게 되리라. "우리는 알거지가 되었구나. 이 땅은 남들이 측량하여 나누어가졌는데, 어떻게 도로 찾으랴? 우리 밭은 침략자의 손에 들어가고 말았다."
  5. 그렇다. 야훼를 섬기는 회중이 제비를 뽑고 땅을 측량해 가지건만, 너희에겐 돌아갈 몫이 없다.
  1. Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
  2. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
  3. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
  4. In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
  5. Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
  1. "무슨 소리냐? 그런 말은 지껄이지도 마라."고 한다만, 이 치욕이 너희를 떠날 성싶으냐?
  2. "야곱 가문이 저주를 받다니, 야훼께서 참을성이 없으시어 그런 일을 하신단 말이냐?" 하고 말한다만 너희가 올바로 살지 못했는데도 좋은 말씀을 내리시겠느냐?
  3. 너희는 내 백성을 원수같이 다루었다. 평화롭게 사는 백성을 덮치고 마음놓고 지나가는 백성을 전쟁 포로인 양 옷을 벗겼다.
  4. 내 백성 중 부녀자를 보금자리에서 몰아내었다. 그 어린 아들에게 패물을 달아주었더니, 너희는 그것마저 빼앗아갔다.
  5. 어서 떠나가라. 여기는 너희 안식처가 아니다. 이미 더러워진 이 땅, 불쌍하게도 망할 수밖에 없다.
  1. Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
  2. O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
  3. Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
  4. The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
  5. Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
  1. "내 입에선 포도주와 소주가 나온다." 신들려서 이런 흰소리나 하며 이 백성의 예언자들은 돌아다닌다.
  2. 야곱아, 내가 기어이 너희를 다시 모으리라. 살아 남은 이스라엘 백성을 기어이 모아오리라. 사람만 보여도 술렁거리는 양떼들을 한 돌담 안에 모으듯 하리라. 한 목장에서 풀 뜯기듯 하리라.
  3. 저희의 임금 야훼께서 적을 쳐부수시며 앞장서 나오시리라. 백성들도 야훼 뒤를 따라 적을 짓부수며 성문으로 빠져 나오리라.
  1. If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
  2. I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
  3. The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
 
 
  1. 이것은 내 말이다. 야곱 가문의 어른들은 들어라. 이스라엘 가문의 지도자들은 들어라. 무엇이 바른 일인지 알아야 할 너희가
  2. 도리어 선을 미워하고 악을 따르는구나! 내 겨레의 가죽을 벗기고 뼈에서 살을 발라내며,
  3. 내 겨레의 살을 뜯는구나. 가죽을 벗기고 뼈를 바수며 고기를 저미어 냄비에 끓이고 살점은 가마솥에 삶아 먹는구나.
  4. 그런데도 야훼께서 부르짖는 너희 기도를 들어주실 성싶으냐? 그렇게 못된 짓만 하는데 어찌 외면하시지 않겠느냐?
  5. 내 겨레를 그릇된 길로 이끄는 예언자들을 두고 야훼께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "예언자라는 것들, 입에 먹을 것만 물려주면 만사 잘되어 간다고 떠들다가도 입에 아무것도 넣어주지 않으면 트집을 잡는구나!"
  1. And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
  2. Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones;
  3. Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
  4. Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
  5. Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
  1. 그래서 너희 백성은 앞을 내다볼 수 없는 밤을 맞았다. 내일을 점칠 수 없는 어둠에 싸였다. 예언자들에게는 태양이 사라져 대낮인데도 눈앞이 캄캄해졌다.
  2. 앞날을 내다본다던 것들이 창피를 당하고 내일을 점친다던 것들이 쥐구멍을 찾으리라. 하느님께서 대답하지 않으시는데 누가 입을 열겠느냐?
  3. 그러나 나에게는 거역하기만 하는 야곱의 죄상을 밝히고 못할 짓만 하는 이스라엘의 죄를 당당하게 규탄할 힘과 용기가 차 있다.
  4. 야곱 가문의 어른들이라는 것들아, 이스라엘 가문의 지도자라는 것들아, 정의를 역겨워하고 곧은 것을 구부러뜨리는 것들아, 이 말을 들어라.
  5. 너희는 백성의 피를 빨아 시온을 세웠고, 백성의 진액을 짜서 예루살렘을 세웠다.
  1. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
  2. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
  3. But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
  4. Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.
  5. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
  1. 예루살렘의 어른이라는 것들은 돈에 팔려 재판을 하고 사제라는 것들은 삯을 받고 판결을 내리며 예언자라는 것들은 돈을 보고야 점을 친다. 그러면서도 야훼께 의지하여, "야훼께서 우리 가운데 계시는데, 재앙은 무슨 재앙이냐?" 하는구나!
  2. 시온이 갈아엎은 밭이 되고, 예루살렘이 돌무더기가 되며, 성전 언덕이 잡초로 뒤덮이게 되거든, 그것이 바로 너희 탓인 줄 알아라.
  1. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
  2. Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
